Great kitchen purchased from i-kook in Hattem. A place where you experience no pressure and where the saleswoman thinks along with you. For example, she helps you make budget-friendly choices. I-kook is not a business with many employees and Heleen likes to take the time for her customers. For example, when you are on location she does not answer the phone while she is on a call, which is very nice. This does mean that you sometimes have to call more than once before you get a hold of someone, or that when you walk into the business, someone may not immediately come to you. Personally, I am bothered by the 1 star reviews in which someone is not welcomed. All in all, a great store, I would recommend everyone to buy a kitchen there. They are super flexible, deliver quickly and the after service is also perfect. Heleen is a super nice woman who enjoys chatting, which made me feel very comfortable. So do it!

Bought a kitchen here for the 2nd time. Had nice conversations with Heleen about the design. They are sometimes difficult to reach by telephone, but that is because they do not interrupt conversations in the store for the phone to ring. I would buy a 3rd kitchen here again in a heartbeat

The best place to find your kitchen

Professionalism can still be improved at Ikook-Hattem. When you call they never answer. And email contact is not always smooth and professional. It is understandable that things sometimes go wrong with a kitchen, but the way of communicating bothers me so much. I was not in your class, I spent 10 thousand euros with you. You expect to be treated slightly differently. I understand that you are responding to this review. However, you only make me angrier... You know very well that you do not communicate professionally. I never write reviews.. this is my first.. But this is well deserved! I largely built my kitchen myself. Removed worktop, interior cabinets, skirting boards and handles from i-Kook. Even though I started working on it myself, I still had class guidance during assembly and settlement! Often on the phone for one thing or another. Always polite, helpful, time and attention for the customer. If something was wrong, it was neatly resolved. Result: A modern, attractive kitchen for an acceptable price. Dear reader, What started out as something beautiful turned into a true fiasco. We visited I-Kook Hattem for the first time in October 2023. During the design process we were treated kindly and we were well thought out. However, as soon as we concluded the agreement in November, things went terribly wrong in terms of communication and fulfillment of agreements. From the beginning we have indicated that we would Due to my wife's pregnancy, we wanted to have the kitchen installed before the end of 2023. I-Kook Hattem has consistently indicated that this was feasible and that we did not have to worry about it. The kitchen would be installed on December 22 and 23, 2023. The technician arrived on the agreed dates, but he was unable to complete the work on time. As a result, at the end of 2023 we had an incomplete kitchen without tiles, sockets, cove and the agreed plasterwork. The technician, who is otherwise performing his work properly, indicated that the work would only be completed in week 2 of 2024. Without mentioning specific dates or indicating how many working days were still needed. We were not contacted in week 1 to make an appointment for the completion. When we still heard nothing in week 2, we contacted I-Kook Hattem ourselves. On January 9, 10 and 11 I called the business several times. The owner answered once, who only indicated that she would contact the technician. We received no further feedback until we asked for it again. At the end of week 2 we finally received a call from the technician. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the kitchen could only be completed in week 4. Highly undesirable for us, because our child could be born at any moment. Things no longer went according to plan at all, but due to... Given the state of the kitchen, we had no other option than to let this continue. The fitter and tiler worked in our house for a total of more than 7 days, divided into 3 stages. As a result, we found ourselves in the mess and construction dust again and again. It is incomprehensible that the impression was initially given that this entire process could be completed in two working days. Since agreements made were repeatedly not fulfilled, we decided to give I-Kook Hattem notice of default. But to date we have not been called or emailed and no form of compensation has been offered for the poor service and non-material damage we have suffered. We find it remarkable that little or nothing has changed in the communication from I-Kook Hattem in 4 years. I have read the reviews from Andrea, Andres, Ivan and Manouk and it is clear from their messages that they are also dissatisfied with the communication from the owner of I-Kook Hattem. We would have preferred to see the situation differently, but due to the lack of response we no longer see any other option than to share our experience here. Update: now contacted by I-kook. Score revised pending resolution. Purchase (2018) went smoothly, they thought carefully within the budget. Moreover, friendly people. Then the trouble started, kitchen was installed "1m20" from the facade. After the technician had calculated 1m20 from the window (instead of the facade), the kitchen (the entire island) could be reinstalled (partly at my expense). They blamed the contractor (and vice versa). Then water in the leaf (cracks) in no time. Reported (within two years), never done anything with it. Called and emailed several times, no response. Limescale also penetrates the plastic kitchen worktop (concerns a poor-quality kitchen worktop). I can now purchase a new kitchen worktop at a significant cost - so I decided to post a review to warn people.
