What
started
out
as
something
beautiful
turned
into
a
true
fiasco.
We
visited
I-Kook
Hattem
for
the
first
time
in
October
2023.
During
the
design
process
we
were
treated
kindly
and
we
were
well
thought
out.
However,
as
soon
as
we
concluded
the
agreement
in
November,
things
went
terribly
wrong
in
terms
of
communication
and
fulfillment
of
agreements.
From
the
beginning
we
have
indicated
that
we
would

wife's
pregnancy,
we
wanted
to
have
the
kitchen
installed
before
the
end
of
2023.
I-Kook
Hattem
has
consistently
indicated
that
this
was
feasible
and
that
we
did
not
have
to
worry
about
it.
The
kitchen
would
be
installed
on
December
22
and
23,
2023.
The
technician
arrived
on
the
agreed
dates,
but
he
was
unable
to
complete
the
work
on
time.
As
a
result,
at
the
end
of
2023
we
had
an
incomplete
kitchen
without
tiles,
sockets,
cove
and
the
agreed
plasterwork.
The
technician,
who
is
otherwise
performing
his
work
properly,
indicated
that
the
work
would
only
be
completed
in
week
2
of
2024.
Without
mentioning
specific
dates
or
indicating
how
many
working
days
were
still
needed.
We
were
not
contacted
in
week
1
to
make
an
appointment
for
the
completion.
When
we
still
heard
nothing
in
week
2,
we
contacted
I-Kook
Hattem
ourselves.
On
January
9,
10
and
11
I
called
the
business
several
times.
The
owner
answered
once,
who
only
indicated
that
she
would
contact
the
technician.
We
received
no
further
feedback
until
we
asked
for
it
again.
At
the
end
of
week
2
we
finally
received
a
call
from
the
technician.
Due
to
unforeseen
circumstances,
the
kitchen
could
only
be
completed
in
week
4.
Highly
undesirable
for
us,
because
our
child
could
be
born
at
any
moment.
Things
no
longer
went
according
to
plan
at
all,
but
due
to...
Given
the
state
of
the
kitchen,
we
had
no
other
option
than
to
let
this
continue.
The
fitter
and
tiler
worked
in
our
house
for
a
total
of
more
than
7
days,
divided
into
3
stages.
As
a
result,
we
found
ourselves
in
the
mess
and
construction
dust
again
and
again.
It
is
incomprehensible
that
the
impression
was
initially
given
that
this
entire
process
could
be
completed
in
two
working
days.
Since
agreements
made
were
repeatedly
not
fulfilled,
we
decided
to
give
I-Kook
Hattem
notice
of
default.
But
to
date
we
have
not
been
called
or
emailed
and
no
form
of
compensation
has
been
offered
for
the
poor
service
and
non-material
damage
we
have
suffered.
We
find
it
remarkable
that
little
or
nothing
has
changed
in
the
communication
from
I-Kook
Hattem
in
4
years.
I
have
read
the
reviews
from
Andrea,
Andres,
Ivan
and
Manouk
and
it
is
clear
from
their
messages
that
they
are
also
dissatisfied
with
the
communication
from
the
owner
of
I-Kook
Hattem.
We
would
have
preferred
to
see
the
situation
differently,
but
due
to
the
lack
of
response
we
no
longer
see
any
other
option
than
to
share
our
experience
here.
All
in
all,
the
course
of
events
has
caused
us
a
lot
of
stress
and
uncertainty.
I
would
strongly
advise
future
customers
against
doing
business
with
I-Kook
Hattem.
