It was very nice. The boats are easy to drive, even of you have never driven a boat before. The staff was very friendly and recommended a route. Leiden is a beautiful town. I recommend to have a look at it from the waterside. Dogs are also allowed on the boats.

Nice boat trip though the canals of Leiden. I like that they have suggested routes that take little less than 1h each, so you can do 2 or 3 of the routes depending on your rental time and don't need to worry to come back in time. Definetely recomended!!

Very nice tour through the canals of Leiden. Our tour guide was very friendly too and she knew some interesting (fun) facts about the city and its history. We paid 12€ per person for a tour of one hour which is comparable to other tour operators.

Going along the canals in a boat tour for less than 1 hr was really a good memory that we enjoyed there. Weather was excellent and staffs are so enthusiastic. Should try this service when you get this lovely city.

Perfect way to explore the city as the captain will talk directly to you as he navigates the vessel safely and very knowledgeable through the canals. An experience you'll remember for years!

We hired a boat for 2 hours to explore the amazing canals of Leiden. The boat was really well presented and was perfect for exploring Leiden. Leiden is incredibly beautiful and we were able to get within metres of a Heron. The team from Bootjes en Broodjes were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a relaxing time and hope to return. Thank you so much.

The trip in the boat makes you visit the town from another point of view. You see another part of the buildings with the cosy terraces, the colourful gardens, the houseboats ... I recommend a tour to all my friends!

Nice boat tour through Leiden canals

Brilliant informative boat ride taking in all the main sights. Children loved the low bridges to duck under and the long dark tunnel. They even put out suncream for us to use, fantastic trip.

I called to ask how to book a 12 person boat with a prepaid card (aka 10-hour card in the English website). I was told that i have to book online. The person on the phone didn't check the detail of my prepaid card. I booked online and got an email asking if i accept to start 30 minutes ahead. But there was no detail about the size of the boat in the email. I replied to confirm the time change but i didn't ask why there is no other detail. I invited 11 people from Eindhoven, houten and Dordrecht. When we arrived, we realized that only a 6 person boat was booked for us. A lady staff claimed that on the website it stated that it's only for six person boat which i don't see this remark. I asked her to show me this description from their monitor in the office. She said "why don't you check via your mobile?" Instead of showing me the proof. A young staff admitted that it could be a bug on the website. I appreciate his honest attitude. The other staff called the manager. Unfortunately a six person boat is the optimal offer. In the end we split into two groups that we can't enjoy the time all together. The weather and city view were perfect. The staff explained the rules well. But it's better to double check with them in advance if you travel from far away for this experience.

10/10 little canal trip with a lot of interesting facts about Leiden. A city with a lot of history, definitely recomend visiting it with a guide. We got Teun as our boat guide, he did a great job always managing to explain everything both in Dutch and English. 12€/pp is worth it!
