Very good quality food, friendly service and nice place. Prawn & chicken wings starters were very good. Salmon, lamb and steak were perfectly cooked.

Very nice restaurant, that has nice and comfortable climate. Food was quite tasty, great Steak Tartare as starter and properly done Rib Eye steak. Although I would prefer more hottness in chimichurri sauce.

Very good food with great service!

Nice atmosphere. Great quality of meat. The chocolate soufflé it's not soufflé! It's lava cake ! Frozen fries and sauces from a packet. Although the meat as real great quality doesn't have any seasoning at all ! It's a shame.

No perfect but a good

Next door to the Apollo hotel in Lelystad is Steak from the Kaizer. I dined at 6:00 and the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. I ordered the spare ribs based on previous reviews. The order was a full rack of ribs with a large side of fries. The ribs are served with a spicy chipotle sauce which I found to be sweet and hot at the same time. My waiter when questioned about the heat replied, "nobody cries. Everyone can eat it." An accurate description. The fries came out hot and were among the best I ever had. I passed on the cole slaw, which was included, but the small piece of corn on the cob was sweet and tasty. I left over 2 ribs and the waiter came over to ask if I wanted more. Steaks at the table next to me looked fabulous and I highly recommend this restaurant.

The best restaurant I have found in Lelystad. That is not easy but they achieve it. Good staff and always friendly.
