I want to share an incident from Sunday morning when leaving a 5* hotel, when taking off and loading our personal luggage into our personal car, somewhere along the chain in the chaos, organized or rather unorganized on their part, one suitcase remains in the hotel! for this mistake or our mistake that we did not check their service upon arrival in Bulgaria, we understand its absence! we immediately call the hotel to politely ask how we can fix this mess, they answer us, come back from Sofia, shall we go back? is that we came back today and thank you for the apology you told us 😁😁😁 you didn't even say that, but we will already know that we will not set foot in your place or we may come back to apologize to you :) on residence is the place we would they gave you an example! and we thank you and apologize for being so kind and we didn't appreciate it!

I was a little disappointed that the pool and sauna were closed for the 2 days I visited. This was the main reason I chose the hotel as it looked very nice in the photographs for relaxation. There was no compensation for the closure. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. The view from the room was horrible it faced a building wall with trash bins on the ground level. (photograph attached) I did book myself a massage since the pool and sauna were closed which was nice. There is a restaurant joined to the hotel which you receive breakfast and can pay for dinner which is good. I wish they would tell you during booking if the pool and sauna would be closed.

Clean, nice staff, very good food, perfect location. My favourite hotel in Thessaloniki. Just to the mist famous area in city - Ladadika, with many nice taverns and bars.

Starting with the good: the staff at and around the check in desk are absolutely perfect! Best experience of being welcomed I've ever had, and it happens daily! Absolutely 5* treatment! The beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is reasonably quiet, so you get good sleep. The breakfast buffet is about average. Now the down sides. The rooms are not well thought-out. There's not enough electrical outlets, and all of them are full with the room lights. So you have to unplug lights to make a coffee, plug in your computer, plug in a phone charger, or whatever. Adding a couple of extensions would make a huge difference! The desk is comfortable to work at with a laptop, but the desktop is covered with glass, so you can't use it with a mouse. You have to look around for a tourist magazine and use that. The taps in the shower are at knee-height, so as you're washing your hair you bump them and suddenly are boiling to death until ultra-hot water, or are freezing. There is a coffee/tea service in the room, but it is never correctly refreshed ... Sometimes 2 creams, sometimes none, sometimes the coffee just disappears completely and there's only sugar! (It seems that NO hotels can ever get this simple thing right, no matter how many stars they have!) The evening room freshening service is fine, but they apparently don't understand what a "do not disturb" sign means, so they repeatedly knock, and then come in anyway. That has GOT to stop!!! Please train them better! The views from the hotel are... Depressing... Finally, the catering for events: The food is really not good - no matter what it was, it was tasteless. I started leaving the hotel to eat in a local restaurant rather than eat the catered food. The best part of this stay were the front desk staff (spectacular!! Thank you!!) and the beds.

Pefect place to stay if you can give little bit more money. You will feel very welcome here, and very important. Swimming pool is small and intimate (you have to make reservation hour earlier so you can be alone there with family or partner, because it’s small), jacuzzi didn’t work that’s the only negative critique. Breakfast was more then delicious, and you can take fresh coffee or tea. Rooms are very good, beds comfortable. Very good experience.

The hotel probably was 5stars some years ago. It looks like the hotel from the movie “Grand Hotel Budapest”. Very old room furniture and arrangements, same for the bathroom. The restaurant and shared bathrooms are quite new and nice, just the rooms remained untouched by renovation. Also the hotel is quite in a busy area and you can hear the noise from outside. Music, cars, people shouting. But it is in an area with many restaurants, bars and busy nightlife, so it makes sense, you need to compromise if you want central. But it could be better isolated.

High level of hospitality and tourism service culture. Very kind personnel, well trained front desk. Modern and classic accommodation, clean rooms, very good room service, excellent breakfast and services (only exemption one parking assistant). Direct access to the main port and the amazing coastal zone and promenade.

We (family of 4)had an excellent stay at this hotel. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room (suite) was spacious, comfortable and good value for money. Location of the hotel is excellent. Would definitely stay again when we are in Thessaloniki.

Rooms old style and need renewal..hotel location near down town and near ferry...service good, by hotel staff, very pulite and friendly with good manners. Hotel lobby nicely decorated. Food breakfast, very good selection. Lunch and Dinner tasty, but need more variety to choose. You may expect lunch/dinner price, 40€ per person (salad, main course and desert, including one juice)

Only visited the conference room for an event but what I saw was very good. Nice conference room and very good food refreshments for the event breaks.

The breakfast was really great both in terms of variety and quality (the sweet and savoury pies were amazing and so were the scrambled eggs). And the location is great too, walking distance to anywhere in the center. All in all an amazing stay.

Hospitality was great from the very first moment, classic rooms with modern state-of-the-art bathrooms, excellent breakfast and super convenient location at the entrance of Ladakia. Cozy spa. Valet parking in underground garage. We are bound to return!

Rooms are small and beds are not that much comfortable for this price. Main advantage is, there s a parking in the hotel but for this money, it s not worth. Location is almost ok.

It was a very bad experience. Flight delayed and reached around 1am. Waited for quite a while before we get the room. The room was super old too. Booked with a room with champagne but hotel refused to acknowledge this and hence didn't get. Location by right was good but too bad, the club playing super loud music opposite till 3 to 4am and no way you can get a good sleep.

Our wedding! It has taken me too long to write this review as usually I don't write reviews for anything. But the service was so exceptional and with our first wedding anniversary coming up reminding me, I felt compelled to get it done, better late than never! On the 4th June 2022 I got married to my wonderful wife Lydia, with the Mediterranean Palace as our reception venue. From the first time we walked in and met Alexandra we were treated like royalty. Everything felt right straight away. We were in awe of the beautiful entrance way and reception of the hotel. There is also a magnificent view of the sea from the 7th floor function room where we had our reception. We had enquired at some other hotels around the city centre. Some just made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them, some did not send promised emails with information and prices or sound particularly interested. The Mediterranean Palace, with Alexandra and indeed all the staff who so diligently guided us every step of the way are a credit to a very well run hotel. Communication was always swift via phone or email. All of our requests for tweaks to menus, the venue, table set up etc were dealt with professionally and quickly. We had an amazing night before the wedding at the hotel tasting every single item on our menu, I felt like a king as we received plate after plate, in the beautiful setting of the restaurant from Two waiters. The food at the Mediterranean Palace is absolutely to die for. Such a great variety and every dish a delight! The night of our reception everything went perfectly, so well organised. Our guests never had an empty glass, the food again delicious! From Lydia and myself, thank you so much for making our special day even more memorable. Paul.

The location is in the centrum of the city, 20 metres from the sea and near to the restaurants area, but it was very noisy in the room, including at night. Renovated bathroom, but not renovated room furniture for premium room category and price. Very good breakfast.

I’m visiting Mediterranean Palace quite often the last 2 years for business and leisure purposes. It is my first choice in Thessaloniki because their 1st priority is hospitality! The personnel is very responsive and they are trying to find best solution for every request! The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Those with view sometimes are a bit noisy mostly in summer from the surrounding area that has bars and clubs, whereas the rest are quiet. Breakfast has plenty of choices and is of high quality the same applies with the restaurant and room service. Internet connection is fast enough for video-calls. Tip: Feel free to ask the personnel for anything you might need!

İt is definitely one of the best hotels in Thessalonike, rooms are large enough, bed and pillows comfortable, nice breakfast.

Excellent hotel in prime downtown Thessaloniki location. While the building is older, the room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location!! The rooms are super clean (and now during the Covid-19 situation they complied with all the hygiene protocols) and the meals offered are of very high quality. Its biggest asset is the extraordinary view (located in the heart of Thessaloniki), as well as the highly educated staff. I strongly recommend it and will definitely visit again!

Would give it less than 1 star actually!! Made a booking for July from Australia. During the COVID-19 restrictions Australia closed its borders. We couldn’t even leave the country. We still can’t to this day. We tried to contact the hotel and ask for a refund they refused, they even refused to give us a voucher. I understand that they may not have been able to offer to refund as they are a business, however to not even offer a voucher for something that is completely out of my control. Never again!! I would not recommend this place to anyone EVER!!!

A great choice in all respects: location, facilities, services and super- friendly staff and no-hassle parking make this a perfect hotel when visiting Saloniki. You really get your money‘s worth! And for all who might be put off by potential street noise: we hardly heard a thing due to good windows and if we did: hey, this is a big city and not a countryside resort.

Excellent service, highly maintained with a twist of classic design. Great breakfast with top notch staff, very friendly. Located at the city center between the port and the shopping street. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to others.

I stayed for 5 nights at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel in April and had a very comfortable stay. The staff at reception were awesome and helpful and no task was too small for them (like helping me find a shop to repair my watch). My room was warm as the hotel’s central air had not been turned on but I had a room facing the back of the hotel and with the window open it cooled off nicely. The hotel is minutes from the sea and a wide variety of restaurants. Mini-fridge, safe and hot water kettle in the room. Excellent breakfast buffet.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights during a short city break. It is fully renovated and although I normally prefer a more modern, minimal style, the rooms and bathrooms were very stylish, fresh, quite big and very well equipped (very modern bathroom with great shower head, good quality amenities, fully stocked mini bar, great mattress and pillows). The breakfast was really great both in terms of variety and quality (the sweet and savoury pies were amazing and so were the scrambled eggs). The staff was very well trained, polite and helpful (a quite comforting change from the ignorant staff I have encountered in many european 5* hotes during the last couple of years). And the location great too, walking distance to anywhere in the center. All in all an amazing stay.

This hotel is 10/10 in customer service and accommodations. Chris, alexandros, and Elena were awesome !!!! The room was clean, the breakfast was included and overall the best hotel experience I have ever had in the last 20 years. Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable stay. No sound proofing. Even with all windows shut, still noise from the road kept us awake. Room changes did not help. The walls are simply too thin, there is not enough noise insulation.

Disappointing Experience at Mediterranean Palace Thessaloniki I regret to share that my recent stay at the Mediterranean Palace Thessaloniki fell short of expectations. Despite making a reservation and prepaying for a room well in advance, we were informed upon arrival that parking was unavailable, contrary to the amenities listed. Our attempt to secure alternative parking in the city consumed two hours, causing visible frustration. The lack of professionalism and the inconvenience faced were regrettable, and it was only after expressing our concerns that we were informed about available parking. This unexpected setback not only resulted in a delay but also induced unnecessary stress. Such experiences can significantly impact the overall guest satisfaction. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for improvement in service quality.
