Good stadium.its about 72km from Dakar. The Gambia played their home game Afcon 2023 qualifiers against south Sudan on June 4 2022. Beautiful pavilions and good Grass.

Stadium renovated thanks to the wafu cup hosted by Senegal on this venue.

Now Senegal completes the renovation of Stade Lat Dior, in the meantime all Senegal national teams games and CAF club football games will be played at the 10 000 seater venue in the city of Thies, until the other stadiums in the country are renovated to CAF and FIFA standards.

This was the stadium for thies region . the stadium was little small but as this was for the local people of thies region the stadium can fulfill the requirement of the local people . The area around the stadium was almost busy all the times as this was located in the town, inside the stadium it was well maintained and also sitting arangeneent was very good
