Excellent property.. Best place to unwind. We stayed in the beach villas, opens to a vast lawn and kids pool. The main pool is near the reception, which is an infinity pool. Very courteous staff. Food options were limited and room service took ages to bring the food. Chinese and local cusine were better. All the staff were very courteous and took care of all the tantrums thrown by our 2 kids. Overall a very good and relaxing 2 days stay.

The hotel has the best location in all of kovalam. The scenic beauty of the coast with its sunsets coupled with the crescent shaped beach lined with coconut trees is very peaceful. Highly priced but worth it

Hands down the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed in. They have 3 options beach view, garden view & club. The club room is the best one & we stayed there. It has a breathtaking sea view along with other amenities like a lovely library, living area, and the best one is the infinity pool. It also has its private beach area which is again cherry on top. 1 thing that I feel had a problem with is food. The main restaurant is closed for now and only Cafe Tides is open with very limited options.

Excellent place. Perfectly maintained. Good staffs and hospitality. Had only morning breakfast which was complementary, lot of varieties like junks, regular and diet foods including fruits, fresh juice and etc. You only need time to think for choosing the food. Worth it. Overall, it was the best.

We celebrated 2021/2 new year's here. Its an amazing place... Good pools, nice buffet spread, decent service... Good access to beach and a clean beach...!! Sea view rooms have a good balcony area to sit and enjoy the view. Club rooms have amazing view of the beach. Only a small hiccup was when we arrived, the welcome and check-in experience wasn't that great. Felt the front desk was not friendly considering we had told them that we had travelled 5 hours by road with kids... They insisted on completing the formalities before even settling down and eating already late lunch...!! Overall, staff were friendly and courteous... Binesh in the main restaurant was excellent... Good decent spread... We had a good time overall...

Not up to the mark! Negatives: •In context of sea villas and room service, the food is delivered very late and often cold. •The buggy service is poor with no cordination in staff to call for it over wireless. You'll end up waiting quite a lot. •No welcome drinks were offered. •A lot of mosquitos all over the property. Positives: •Good location, near beach. •Very nice view of the sea. •Spa is good.

Amazing place. Hotel works as team to make sure guest has a very good stay. We had some basic hiccups in the restaurants but F&B manager & chef took immediate control & ensure my stay, food was amazing. View from the rooms are very beautiful. Try their Asian Cuisine restaurant.

Excellent service, amazing food, phenomenal atmosphere and rooms! Our stay here was amazing, we had a great time. Best service out of all the hotels we stayed at in Kerala, and very clean. We recommend upgrading to the club rooms as they are even cleaner and better. Overall great experience and stay! Highly recommended

We were 6 guests and took 3 rooms for 2 nights with half board. we were welcomed with tender coconut drinks, and an upgrade of rooms from the base cottage that was located in the adjacent property, to beach view rooms. these rooms had an amazing beach view with a partially covered spacious balcony. the staff at reception, restaurant & life guard all dealt with a smile. both breakfast & dinner in the package was a buffet with many variety of tasty dishes. i loved the traditional arm chair and toilet doors that is generally found in old kerala homes. Amazing place

This hotel make my trip is memorable. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, but check in process was slow. Special one, view of room had a great view of the sea. The room was clean but less spacious. The staff of reception, restaurant and housekeeping are wonderful. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for making our stay very pleasant. Room was small as compared to other five star hotels. View from balcony was awesome.

The AC's weren't working in both the cottages and they weren't able to repair. We had to sleep with pedestal fans. The food was tasty but the options are very limited. The staff are courteous and try to help but the facilities aren't being maintained at all well.

Stayed in cottages, Good location very close to the sea with good view of the ocean and a small private beach, and they give kids few toys to play with sand, they have basketball, volleyball along the beach side. Rooms are good with much space, toilets are small but maintained clean and mint. September to February is a good time to visit. Staffs show good hospitality. Overly priced for the facilities they provide. Food is tasty, but the number of items are less in buffet breakfast when compared to any other 4 star or 5 star.

Nice property with a spectacular view but small public beach. Only 2 restaurants and terribly disorganised service at the Terrace where we had to go for breakfast and dinner every night. Very frustrating as we had to follow up multiple times for our ordered food and basic things like napkins and water. The Asian restaurant was good.

“My stay at The Leela Kovalam exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea combined with the impeccable service left me truly impressed. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The culinary offerings were exceptional, catering to diverse tastes with a variety of delicious dishes. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, The Leela Kovalam is the perfect destination. Highly recommend for an unforgettable getaway!”

Very very small rooms, I m in a club room. bathroom is so so small that you cnt even take bath properly. Food is extremely spicy. Got stomach pains. exterior of the property is beautiful but interior is very basic.. not a value for money .. didn't expect this from Leela.. I have been to other Leela hotels it's always great, But I m shocked how this one is lacking the charm of Leela, rooms are smallest..!! Claustrophobic

Beautiful & fantastic place. Destination in itself. The ambiance was terrific. Food was delicious and awesome. Enjoyed the stay and ambience. I liked the hospitality and service. The surrounding is no doubt very picturesque with the sunset in the background and noisy waves hitting the shore. Totally worth staying. I'll recommend it to my family and friends.

The ambience is nice. During our visit maintenance work is going on in the hotel even though they managed the guest well. They have a rooftop Restaurant come Bar. The restaurant has great view. The view from the Seventh floor was great. Morning breakfast is awesome we can taste variety of food.

So nice place. The view from the place is so great. There is gym, pools. The main attraction is the infinity pool it is so nice to see and the feelings are so good. Private beach is also their so carm and clean beach. Electric cars are running through our the places the transportation is easy. Lots of programs are conducted on this place. The only problem that I felt is the room rent is high. The sunset view was very beautiful. Our flight was in the evening and the hotel allowed us to check out late. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for making our stay very pleasant. Food could have been better. There were too many gravy items and the menu was repetitive.

Had a horrendous lunch experience, never expected from a 5* facility. Billing for items not ordered and waiting for about 20 minutes to settle the payment. Poor network coverage in the cafe, where a booster could have easily solved the issue. Overall, the lovely food experience got derailed by the after lunch service 😡

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern and elegant ambiance that creates a sense of comfort and luxury. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously clean. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the room decor and the comfortable bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities provided by The Leela Kovalam are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped with a variety of exercise machines, and the pool area is pristine and inviting.

Great property, one of the vintage ones. Rooms are smaller than the usual 5 star size, esp the older building. The staff and service is great. The breakfast spread is one of the best I have seen with family. The beach is nearby, but not a great one.

I'm in a club room, which is really little. You can't even take a full bath in the little bathroom. Food has a lot of heat. experienced stomach aches. The property's façade is stunning, but its interior is quite bare and not worth the money. didn't think Leela would do this. I've stayed at other Leela hotels, and each time I was amazed at how much the charm was missing from this one. The rooms are also the tiniest. Restrictive

It surely didn't live up to it's name - The Leela. The entire staff at the restaurant needs a overhaul. Haven't seen staff fighting among themselves in front of the guest's. Maybe they are just overworked. Rooms and bathrooms are ok. Definitely needs work on some cracks seen here and there. Sanitary fittings in the bathrooms are very badly maintained. I heard a marriage party at the time of check out tearing down the front desk lady in anger about the bad service provided to them. Overall a bad experience. Check out their response to this below. They don't even care to fill my name. Just a 'Copy Paste'.

Budget friendly resort ❤️ The resort is perfect for a cute little holiday. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, tidy and spacious, with all the basic amenities- side tables, king size bed, night lamp, luggage rack, mini wardrobe, TV, A/C, mini fridge, private balcony and common terrace with seating arrangements. It was really amazing experience. The resort services were really good. They were very polite, helpful and friendly. The resort is really safe for families, couples or even for bachelors.

Amazing location .... A beautiful Open terrace bar with sea view is there . Lovely place for couples. Limited water sports available next to it. A mini private beach they offer. Need to improve their Menu a lot. Heard many visitors complaining about services in restaurant.Overall a feel good place . 😌

One of the best resort with the best sea view accomodation with neat, tidy and spacious rooms. Resort staff is very friendly, polite and humble. We stayed at The Leela Kovalam for a couple of days and enjoyed the experience. We stayed at the Beach View Superior Room, which was elegant and comfortable and included traditional and heritage elements. The highlight of the room was of course the balcony that offered spectacular views of the sea. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the food was good too. We specially loved the infinity pool and the beach. One can go to private beach in an electric buggy from the main lobby.

I visited the hotel with family and had a pleasant stay. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Our sea view room had a great view of the sea. The room was clean and spacious. The staff of reception, restaurant and housekeeping are wonderful. The high point was the swimming pool which is overlooking the sea. The sunset view was very beautiful. Our flight was in the evening and the hotel allowed us to check out late. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for making our stay very pleasant. Food could have been better. There were too many gravy items and menu was repetitive.

This property is just awesome for its magnificent views of the Arabian sea, the green lawns , the massively wide lobby area , the huge royal mirrors and the list goes on. While the menu at the Terrace restaurant seems quite usual yet costly , the price is worth the ambience provided. The property overlooks the internationally popular Kovalam beach which is so clean and greenish blue in colour. The staff are so friendly. This property is just awesome! Just book a room or a table and enjoy every bit of it.

Great property, spread out over a large area just by small cliff over looking the sea. The property is huge, even though more 170 rooms out of the 188 odd were booked it din really feel like that. Food had a decent spread and was decent Staff.. definitely need to improve... on multiple occasion I thought I saw they were fighting each other.. Since its was a busy weekend, room service, getting the cart to go up to the main building was hard. Overall good experience but there are things they can improve

The location is best, we checked out all other hotels in this location and nothing even comes close. Infinity pool is awesome, staff is courteous and food is great. Private beach is a great plus in monsoon weather when you can't really walk on the beach. The bathrooms definitely need an upgrade.

A wonderful experience at Adams beach resort this summer.. This place is recovering from the COVID damage. Located along the beach, it's an ideal budget holiday destination..the rooms are good and well maintained.. The staff was kind enough to arrange dinner on the spot for our group of 20 people..

Fantastic place. Destination in itself. Great views. Been to many 5 stars but none like this one These guys really pamper the guest in every way. Had a great time here. Local villagers arrange for snorkelling, fishing and boating. We personally loved rowing boat ride.

Humbled, Thankful, Obliged, In love are the words to say the least of our feeling of gratitude towards you. Just a great case study for how to handle emergencies. Humane service. We found ourselves in deep medical emergency and the staff did everything to make us comfortable. From arranging wheelchair to cab for pick and drop to the hospital to giving us food at 3am in the morning. With tears of joy in my eyes, I say Thank you. And were we helped by God in the God's own country to make the correct decision to stay with you! Thank you!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, and two standout aspects were its fantastic location and the exceptional services provided. The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect. Situated in the heart of the city, it allowed me easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to explore historic sites or enjoy a night out, everything was just a short walk or taxi ride away. This convenience added so much value to my trip. As for the services, they were top-notch. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Whether it was providing local recommendations, arranging transportation, or promptly addressing any concerns, their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had checking into a hotel. We had three sea view rooms booked, and while booking we requested all three rooms to be on the same floor as we were traveling with kids. They gave us 2 rooms and asked to wait for the third room for a couple of hours. After two hours of wait, they made an excuse of the third room not being available and staff shared different reasons; one said the people staying extended the stay, the other said there is some maintenance issue. And this is when we followed up. They didn’t care to proactively tell us or share this with us. Then after 30 minutes of confusion they offered the third room three floors down; which is not really a workable option due to kids. While I understand rooms on the same floor aren’t guaranteed; but every hotel we have been to makes a genuine attempt, and that is what I noticed lacking. The staff just didn’t care about the inconvenience we had waiting or now will have throughout the trip. While the property overall is nice and relaxing and that’s why we chose it; but this entire checkin hassle screwed up the experience. I don’t think the staff really understands the meaning of hospitality and needs to be educated.

The Leela is the greatest of all beachside hotels. Their ambiance talks it all and is impeccable. This is the best stay I’ve ever had and would recommend everyone to try this. Coming to the hospitality, they always exceed expectations. Restaurant is amazing too, you have Multi cuisine options and food tastes amazing. I would strongly recommend The Leela for anyone who’s planning to stay here.
