One of the best Chicken Biriyani ever. You can feel your tastebuds tingling for more as soon as you put the rice in your mouth. So good. As for the restaurant, the ambience is good. There are more women staffs here, which is great. The prices are reasonable too. If you're wondering, the chicken biriyani was ₹160 while writing this review.

The service was great. But unfortunately, just a good service dosnt make a hotel review good. The food was not at all fresh (ie fish) we ordered veg meals and they provided plain fish gravy along it it we ordered ayila, choora and naymeen (all fry)was just not at all fresh and it was served cold. I could see black spots inside the fish. We came here with great expectations but unfortunately ended up eating cold food. Talking about the price, I would say it’s expensive for what they serve. 200-250 for the cold fish. Sitting Area was clean as I said, I would give 5 star for the service they provide with always a smile on their face. Absolutely no parking area for cars. It’s in a one way road. Bike parking is available. Note:- as I always say I give my review honestly, according to my personal experience and I’m not influenced by any means. Others might have a different experience.

I would say it is one of the best restaurant in Trivandrum with reasonable rate. This was a place around statue where you can get kerala taste along with kuttanadan fish items. Their Thali meals was excellent good rice n curry. Fantastic customer service and an excellent manager running the show.

Had lunch (veg meals) . It wasn't that great but not bad too. The serving plate was so creative. Went at 1 pm still the rice wasn't so warm for a lunch time. The plants kept was giving a calm feel from the outgrown store. An old warm restaurant .

The KH hotel is an example of the natural Kerala cuisines. The food I had really remembered me of home. The beautiful flavour still sails my mouth.

A hotel run by predominantly ladies. You're always welcomed with a warm smile and a team of waitresses rush to serve you. Your attention is called for by the large blackboard with a handwritten list of the menu. The team is very well aware of the dishes and serve you generously with love. They ensure that all your requests for extra servings may be fulfilled.

Visited on 31 Aug, place to go for authentic kerala food while in tvm, the lady at the counter is extremely hospitable and makes you feel at home describing every dish, giving various options, all other ladies working there also serve with a smile.

This WAS a place around statue where you can get kerala taste along with kuttanadan fish items. But now the quality is degraded. And not worth for the money we pay. But still I prefer this restaurant for dining very peacefully, coz the restaurant is never crowded. Also isolated from the traffic noises.

Ordered fish curry meals from here .Special thing about this was had tried their -*Kerala fish curry meals BOX*.Surprisingly it was good.Enough quantity for a person to eat infact more ,well packed.The box had rice , chamandi, aviyal ,piyar fry, kichidi & pickle .Rest of the curries like sambhar , moru curry ,fish curry & Payasam too 😊,packed separately.Worth buying.yummy and tasty !!🥰

I had two experiences - a dine in and a delivery. Both were excellent and great value for money. The fish dishes are outstanding. I was craving some squid roast and the dish was perfect to the T. The vegetarian dishes are very tasty too. My mother and house help were amazed at the quantity of rice and vegetables being offered in the fish meals. Paayasam in the meals was exceptional too.

If you want good tasty and traditional Kerala food with a better ambience, quality service, moderately and reasonably priced menu, this place is the right choice. Tried the meals thali, really good food. Only issue is parking, there is no place for 4 wheelers to park.

I had ordered food for 40 adults during Christmas and my experience with them starting from food selection, to price discussion and until the final food delivery was very pleasant. Quality food with good quantity, prompt delivery was their highlight. Since it was a Non-Veg Christmas lunch, the food included chicken cutlets, cakes, meat, fish recipes, Kerala veg curries etc. and they all were very good looking :-) and tasty. I'm a non malayali and I took my non malayali friend to this restaurant hoping to get her to taste a good and proper Kerala meal. It was my first time there too. This place was homely, women there were so nice to us. We felt extremely comfortable and safe from any discomfort we'd usually experience. Our experience with their food was delightful as well. Any dish which includes fish is certainly their speciality.

Meal was good. One of the best beef fry in TVM. I think it's a little overpriced .

Kerala house, one of our favourite restaurant, no matter its South Indian or North Indian dishes, everything have a perfection and an Annu chechi (current owner) touch. Unlike most of the restaurants, here its more into homely type food with less oil , but of great taste. Recently I ordered panner mushroom masala for one of our family get together and the dish delivered was very yummy and now all our family members are a great fan of this paneer mushroom masala. Not only taste, the rate is also affordable. Prompt home delivery 👍🏼 For the past few years we don’t have to rethink while ordering my daughter’s birthday cake 🎂 Every year its like above our expectations. Thank you Annu chechi for showing such a patience for all my last minute orders.

Being tourists with stomach issues, went to this place to pick up kanji as per a friend’s recommendation. Tasty kanji with awesome green gram thoran, pickle, kappa with moru were out of the world. Beef bought for the healthy ones was too good! The restaurant folks were quite nice by offering curd without any charges.

We have tried their Non Veg Meals Taste part was too good & felt like a homely taste, but each and every curry was so cold and also the rice, time we went their was 1:45 pm and it was too late for a meal time I think so. Worth a try

It's always kerala house,our first choice when it comes to any celebration at our academy. Recenely we havw ordered snack boxes for our anniversary celebration. Its was well arranged and super tasty. All our students finished the box within a split second. We can completely relay upon them for best customer service and timely delivery. Once you give your orders thats it... Recently order kerala parotta and chicken fry , it was horrible. Looks cook or management been changed .. don't try again from this hotel . Yes kerala hotel was best in Trivandrum.. but something happened ..

Kerala House Restaurant is one of my absolute favorite places to visit when I'm in Trivandrum! I have been coming here regularly since 2019! The food is always delicious, with good variety, well priced and sizable portions. And on top of it, the hospitality is absolutely top notch! The staff is very kind, giving detailed explanations of the specials of the day, and always with a big smile. Their warmth and the food quality always reminds me of my grandmother's cooking :) Highly recommend checking out this green oasis!

One of the best Kerala thalis I've had in a while.. The prawns fry, fish fry and Beef roast are too good to miss out on. The friendly and hospitable staff add charm to the entire experience.. Kudos to the efficient management by the owners, Annu and Chinnu!!

If you would like to have authentic south Kerala style food, this place is where you should have it. Post Covid times - well maintained and hygienic. We had the fish thali with fish fry, mutton biryani, prawn masala and fresh lime soda - everything tasted great with reasonable rates.
