[April 2022] An interesting place with soothing ambience and delicious food. The soft lighting and peaceful music make for a delightful ambience. The service here is even better. The people here are exceedingly patient and welcoming. Their menu is well designed and has a variety of dishes which are mainly North Indian. There's a good amount of vegetarian dishes also available unlike a lot of other places in Trivandrum. The price is on the higher side for an average person but I think the food is worth every penny. PS: I would go back there just for the welcome drink.

Possibly the best North Indian restaurant in Trivandrum. Signature dishes, excellent quality and quantity. Very friendly management and staff. The portion size justifies the price. The ambiance is also really awesome. A must try if you want to try authentic North Indian dishes in Trivandrum.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome & expensive. Great atmosphere with really nice people. I will recomment everyone to visit here once and experience yoursellf. NB: If you know Hindi or English that would be better.

One of the best fine dining restaurant in Trivandrum. You can taste some exotic North Indian & Mughlai recipes here. Their signature dishes are worth a try. Since it's part of the SK chain of restaurant the price is a bit on the higher side; but it's worth. We have tried their Cheese Chilli Chicken Tikka & Chowringhee Chilli Chicken as starters and both were good. For the main course Butter Chicken, Bhuna Ghost and Dum Gosht Biryani were good. They have boneless meat for all dishes and most of the dishes are enough for two people. The service was also good. Definitely a must try, especially if you are a north Indian or vegetarian food lover.

The Yellow Chilli- A Good pick for North Indian cuisine in Trivandrum. The impeccable ambiance and cleanliness make it shine. Taste? Decent. But oh, those prices! 🤑 Even for a branded spot, it's on the steeper side. 📈 #TheYellowChilli #NorthIndianDelights 🥘🍴🏞️

One of the best North Indian restaurants in Trivandrum. We ordered Butter chicken and Chicken tikka and Nan along with a chilly Gobi as starter. The dishes are slightly over priced but taste, quality and quantity were awesome with a pleasing ambiance and great service. A recommended place.!

The best North Indian food place in Trivandrum, service is top notch . For starters we ordered chicken tikka with cheese and Peeli mirchi ka rawa , both the chicken and fish were cooked to perfection. The Gulaab gulkand was the perfect desert to finish off the heavy meal. The only con about the place is the location n lack of parking spaces.

Suggest the North Indian food lovers to try the food here. The ambience is very good. The chicken entree platter was pretty good with delicious varities. It is a must try. Palak paneer was delicious. Tried the mutton biriyani available here but one might not find the preparation very tasty if one is fond of Hyderabadi biriyani. One point worth mentioning is that the restaurant is not at all budget friendly. It is way overpriced.

Wonderful ambience, crazy good food, well trained and polite staff, dizzy fast service. They even bothered to dish out a cake knowing it was our wedding anniversary. Loved the starters the most

Save this post for the next time you are hungry and need a restaurant recommendation in Trivandrum! Growing up I watched Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s cooking show so I couldn’t resist the chance to visit his restaurant when we were visiting Trivandrum! The cuisine is North Indian of course and the flavors were on point! We started with the a welcome drink & the Cheese Chilli Tikka - my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The main course included Do Pyaza ki Bhindi, Tariwala Murgh and the Bhuna Ghost served with Pulao and Naan! I’m a foodie and when I tell you the flavors were on point I mean it! So.Delicious! The Peru Pyala mocktail was a fantastic blend of sweet and spicy. However the perfect ending to our meal included the Gulab-e-gulkand! Who would have thought that rose petals in gulab jamun could be so divine! While I’ve raved about the food, the ambiance of the restaurant is well worth a mention! The art and the murals highlighting important monuments in Trivandrum are really charming and add to the overall experience. Ok I’ve said my piece - now go and take your family or that special someone on a date night @tyctvm! It may not be a cheap meal but the experience will be well worth the money. Ps: The Yellow Chilli Trivandrum just won The Best North Indian - International Chain Award for 2022 - need I say more?! #trivandrumfoodscene

A must visit place if you love North Indian Cuisine. The hospitality was really commendable. Starting from the welcome drinks and masala papad, our family enjoyed the food thoroughly and would definitely suggest to other friends and family. They made sure the kids were also engaged until the food was prepared. Another unique thing about the place is it's veg cuisine which is in par with the non veg dishes. Really had a great time. Their gulab jamun is a must try if you happen to visit the restaurant.

One of the elegant and authentic north indian delicacies in trivandrum for a long period of tym. The food tastes great and the ambience is also good..Little overpriced for some dishes.. Chaat dishes are also good. The problem i faced was the rude behaviour from one staff which was a long tym back and he asked us to move from one table to other because the table we sat was a four chair one. He coud hav asked us politely or just say in a nice manner that it was meant for only four guests. But instead he was just telling we cant sit here even wen there were many seats vacant. One other kind staff noticed it and rectified it. The next tym we went ther the staff were nice and i liked the fact that they are rectifying their mistakes.

Delicious food. Would recommend. Go For the veg or non veg sharing platter if you are more than one person eating here as it gives you a choice of starters. The Tarbooz drink is nice too.

This is a franchise of a restaurant chain by a famous chef. The hotel is situated in a pocket road ( and the road condition is not very good ). There is no specific parking area and has to depend on the road side parking( this is not a main road so traffic would be very less ). THe restaurant as such is clean and neat ( so are the rest rooms ) and can house around 30+ ppl. The restaurant caters to north indian cuisine ( will be different from the regular dhaba foods around in city in case that is your expectation ) from the starter chats to the main cuisine. The quantity of dishes is good enough to fill an adult but that includes the starters too ( if you order more starters you will mostly be filled by starters themselves ) . You will be given a welcome drink and some snacks while you wait for the order. The time to prepare and serve is a bit more when compared to other similar restaurants. However, you may kill time watching the cookery show of the chef in the two TVs. Kids will be presented with toys or drawing/coloring stuff to pass time. The food is very tasty and you will definitely be looking to visit and eat again. Some of their signature dishes are really worth a try. The food tasted best when dined in rather than take-away.

A food joint franchise running on a popular Chef's name. Limited ambience, space of a single room/hall and the sitting arrangement is so congested. Order food and wait for two hours or more, by the time your hungry will get killed. Look of menu card table book is very good but the food quality is average. Food is over priced for the quality as well as the quantity. Difficult to judge whether the food style is southern or northern or hybrid. On TV, one cookery show of a popular Chef of our time is running on non stop basis. If you still want to test your patience, then it's fine.

A premium place with good ambience providing authentic north Indian delicacy. Visited 2 times as of this writing. There is attention to detail and taste in all the offerings. The owners are often visible attending to guests, guiding the food choices and taking feedback which is a nice gesture. Must try in starters - Paneer tikka - really soft tender cubes grilled in the right flavor hard to get at many good restaurants. Also mentioning mutton soup (gosht kali mirch ka shorba) which was awesome and gulab-e-gulkand in sweets is their jewel in the crown. There are enough options for vegetarians too. Being away from main road, parking is available nearby and staff helps in this regard. The front road has a water logging problem during rains. Reserving table on phone is adviced on holidays or rush season.

It was a splendid dinner, and kudos to their ambience, hospitality and professionalism. Special mention to the Owner of restaurant, who herself, found time to visit each and every table to feedback about the dine experience. Certainly on the premium side, but worth every penny you spend for. Make sure you dont miss the Tandoori chicken starter.

Good ambience . The staffs are pretty good and helpful. Didn't like the fried rice but rest of the dishes are very tasty. The cost of the dishes are pretty high, so good for special occasions rather than usual dinner

It's a really great place for food lovers. The ambiance and cleanliness they maintain is really commendable. The food taste is also really awesome. The only negative is the price point. Yeah this is a branded restaurant even though the price they are charging is a little bit higher. Biriyani is one of the must try dishes. Highly recommend.

Authentic North Indian style foods both veg and non- veg. Loved it...! Quantity of dishes are pretty high. So have to order accordingly. Rich in taste. Ambiance is ok. It's a bit costly than normal as well.

The location is very convenient to access. The surroundings are kind of good. Food is just above average. Nothing to say a 'wow'. The main thing to note here are two things. 1. The shop is fully functional around 7PM 2. If you are on a moderate budget, please avoid the shop. One porotta/ chapathi which normally costs you around 20, is charged here around 60 rupees. The chapathi or porotta that they charge are not any extraordinary or value added, it's just plain ones. Unless you have a deep pocket, don't think of dining in a group. The ambience and services deserve half price on the menu... I have gone there just by the rating on Maps... The pricing is not justifiable either by taste or by amenities. Its just an over priced shop, thats all.

The food is always wonderful. You will get to try new dishes other than the typical north indian fare. Good mix of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Although the prices are on the higher side, one can always bet on clean, tasty food from here. I urge the owners to please look into delivery options. Weekends are always crowded and so the food takes time to be served. Parking also depends on this.

One of the best place to eat in Trivandrum. Blind try mutton biriyani. Maintains the standard at all times. Calm place. Fine dining. Reasonable considering the quality and service.
