Tasty food like home. We taste masala dosa and Ada dosa. Reasonable rate. But dosa is little small compared to other hotels.

I tried this small and limited space veg hotel. The kesari here is very tasty. The food runs out quickly due to rush so come fast and enjoy a warm South Indian cuisine 4.1/5

Due to the HYPE went there To be frank food have no element of Taste we had a great expectation tried samabar vada and ada dosa etc but below average also very congested place to dine in and need to wait for long don't know why this hype. But owner was good and polite to customers but inside some sarcastic quarrel and shouting was going on had bad experiance also for sambar vada for some they are giving in plate fully immersed with sambar and vada but for us just dipped vada they served totally an irritating experiance 🙏 dont expect more just have food and leave

Average Taste ! Congested seatings ! Bad Behaviour ! The food taste was just average for me.. The behaviour of the beard man ( owner it seems) towards customers was rude.. !! The only unique thing was the framed photos inside that small rooms give an ambience of old traditional legacy look to room. 😐 !

Overrated. Has the charm of an old hotel but it's overhyped. Food was mediocre. There are several restaurants nearby which serve much better food. Sambar was watery, dosa was tasteless, so was everything else. Better to look else where.

A small hotel where only 6-8 can sit at a time serves delicious dosas and iddly. They also serve rasa vada which is their special item . The rates are very reasonable compared to the rates charged by other hotels.

A small Mess cum Restaurant having only 12 to 14 seats only. The variety of dishes & its taste are marvellous. MOUTH Watering dishes..& its hygienic preparation makes everyone who are all visited there. Morning Breakfast dishes..will call you back again to taste. Noon ..instead of Lunch the supply only variety meals & VEG BIRIYANI. Time to time Methuvadai, Sambar vadai, Rasavadai, Kesari, Kolukattai prepared in Red Mattai Rice, etc are their regular special. Kind service & very cheaper price affordable to everyone. 100 % Satisfied.. .Apitizing..Land Mark.

Good vegetarian food, One of the best vegetarian food spots around padmanabha swami temple. Have some specials which make them standout. Gives out classic kerala vibe

It's a small space with hot vegetarian food that brings out the homely food. You just have to close your eyes and enjoy the food, that's it. There might be a queue sometimes, but usually you would get a seat in 10 minutes. Be sure to ask them for the items available or the menu, sometimes there might be more food items ready than you think.

Usually vegetarian hotels in Kerala have trend of serving Tamil sambars and dosa's. But this hotel serve you pure Kerala dosa's and dishes. Small hotel only 5 - 6 seats but their dosa, chutney, masala bonda, everything is super tasty.

A homely place but have to wait for your turn as seats are limited but work for the wait as food is soo good and nostalgic.

Hotel Gaurisankar is a quaint little hotel situated in the South Nada (southern entrance) of the world famous Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. It is well known for its traditional Kerala vegetarian fare and is quite popular for breakfast and dinner. It is a very small family run hotel, which could hardly accommodate less than 10 people. It's famous for the South Kerala delicacy of Ada Avial, in addition to the traditional dishes like variety of dosas, idli, vada and Rasa Vada. Apart from the regular clients from the neighbourhood, the Hotel also gets a large number of visitors from among the Devotees visiting the Temple.

Good place to eat vegetarian food especially breakfast. Situated close to East gate of Sree padbhanabhaswamy temple. Relatively small space which can hold upto 12 - 15 people at a time.

It's one of the hyped place guys!! Ultra hyped place. I am a foodie and tried breakfasts from many places districts in Kerala and even other states (Atleast 100 times). Trust me this place had one of the worst dosa/idli I had. We had tried Dosa, Idli, Vada , poori and rasa Vada seeing other reviews. But for my surprise all were so bad and dry or no life 😅. . I feel the city has many other places near by serves best food. Also you have to wait for your turn(I waited 15-20 minutes ) and have the worst breakfast of the day. Even the hospitality is bad. Probably the reviews are because of small place I feel or the guys who reviewed have not tried the best breakfasts yet.

Went for an early dinner! Had Meduvada and Adai-Avial. Vada was really good. Adai-Avial is their speciality item. Right texture and excellent taste. Excepting that it is a small space, the food and service are too good. Next time I will try their Kozhukatta which is another of their special item. Recommend strongly for vegetarian homely food.

Such tasty vegetarian options. Affordable rates. Hygienic. The interiors of the restaurant look old and have got rustic photo frames all over the walls giving it the perfect vintage look. The seating capacity is limited. No parking space in front of the restaurant. You could park your cars at the 'pay and park' nearby and walk to the eatery. Would totally recommend this place.

This is my favourite place to eat whenever I'm near East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram. This is a really really really small place where hardly 10 or 12 people can sit at one time, so the ambience is a lot different from what people generally expect. But their food is amazing, and if you don't mind waiting a bit, or if you are comfortable with tiny wooden benches and a humble atmosphere, this is a great place to have food, especially in the evening. My favourite dishes: Ada dosa and rasa vada.

A very old tamil brahmins hotel to eat traditional iyer tiffin. The hotel also has a name called adai-aviyal hotel as that's their signature dish . Good ,simple and tasty food. better to go for breakfast or dinner as lunch has very limited options. Space is less inside.

  • 5/5 Aadith . 1 year ago on Google
Neat clean space, we can feel that old vintage vibe inside. As we can see its not so spacious. Only 10 people can have dine in at a time . Very famous for their signature authentic taste which is constantly carried out by the family for years

one of the best resturant for vegetarians in trivandram at normal price situated near Medical Collage. they serve purse veg in their two dining hall i.e, one with airconditioning and another without airconditions. The ghee rost dosa are awasom. You cant forget. Apart from south indian they also serve north indian foods. Best place to eat pure veg.
