My childhood friend Madhu insisted I get up early and go with him to the “best dosa and idly in the world.” My dad and I took a chance and said yes. Madhu picked us up and offered door to door service. And, wow! So glad we did - absolutely delicious dosas, idlies, omlettes complimented by sambar and an unusual number of fabulous chutneys. It’s a roadside joint on a side lane reached via a side road. Without Google Maps, I couldn’t tell you how to get there. Totally worth a visit. The place is located in a narrow road. So if you are on a 4 wheeler, be ready to drive through some tight paths. We reached there at around 10pm. Luckily it was not closed. But the owner said it would have been closed even before that time. The speciality is, they would serve around 5 different chutneys along with Dosa and resavada. It tasted great. The owner seemed to be a nice guy. One thing I noticed is that, they serve you the food in steel plates. And you have to drop it near the road, where they will wash it later. I would suggest driving a two wheeler than car to this place. Because there's no parking space in that tight road. If there's another oncoming car at the same time, you might sweat trying to make way. This is a must try place. But it would have been better if they moved the eatery to a better accessible location than this remote area. Also, there are certain things to improve regarding the hygiene. If these suggestions are followed, then definitely this would become one of the best budget eateries! Best wishes.

Enjoy a different experience of concept “Thattukada” here! Suggest you to try all chutneys available in the outlet (minimum 3). As Santhosh chetan suggested in the hoardings, please don’t waste any food, take only necessary as you want. Tip: If you planning a night out and dinner, Try to be at the point before 07.00 PM to make sure that you have all curries available to taste and to avoid “stock outs”!

Tried dosa,Resavada and omlette.Dosa was so tasty and Varieties of chutneys are the speciality here. Friendly staffs and good service.

The shop owner has come up with an innovative idea to serve dosa with a variety of side dishes, mostly chutneys. Both dosa and the side dishes are of good taste. They had almost 10 to 12 side dishes prepared. They also informed that the number will be even higher on Sundays. Apart from the above they also serve omelette and rasavada. Their black tea also tasted good. The shop owner was very welcoming. He was encouraging us to try out all the dishes. Usually they don't prefer parcelling the food. To get parcels you have to carry containers with you. The shop is located almost 0.75km away from the main road, hence, difficult to be located. Also travelling by car to the shop would not be a good option since there is not much space to park the same.

Hot dosa's,a. A variety of side's, taste's good 😋. This is an actual thattukada, so there's no seating provided, you may have to stand in long que, but Santhosh chettan is real fast! After all, food tastes good hence you won't feel bad in standing long ques!

Wow, dosa with multiple chutneys and add to that daal Vada and omlet... This is breakfast place not to be missed.... And you will love it... But remember the road to this place is very narrow but it will be worth it once you reach

It's a small roadside shop. But very tasty food. Different types of chutney. Hospitality to be mentioned .. santhosh chettan is very welcoming. One time we reached there by closingg time, but they did serve us without complaining

If the food served is tasty, it doesn't matter how narrow the road to the shop is or whether it is just a humble roadside takeaway. Fresh kutti dosas served with a variety of chutneys, all deserving a special mention on their own merit.

Really nice food with many different varieties of chutneys. Every kind of chutney was tasty. Definitely worth and try. The place itself is moved from the hustle and bustle of the city and very quiet. I would definitely recommend a visit. The food itself is very inexpensive and affordable.

Food is simple but very tasty. Their chutneys pack a very flavorful punch. It’s primarily a vegetarian shack though you get omelettes. Avial, thoran etc is also available and it surprisingly goes very well with the dosas. Service is also excellent. A must visit place if you are a thattukada person.

One of the Best in trivandrum. Highly cost effective and tasty. We get the typical thattu dosa items here with Dosa, mulak chamanthy, chamanthy, sambar, rasa vada, aviyal,pappadam and omelete…😋
