Good place for dessert and coffee in Thorold downtown. They have comfortable indoor and outdoor seats, friendly staff and good food. Free street parking as well. Cozy place to have alone time or chat with someone. Cheesecake was not too sweet and cookies are soft. Would love to try their other pastries and crepes.

Really cute atmosphere and very helpful friendly staff. Just stopped in for a coffee and a treat and one of our party of friends was served and told “just pay us later when you’re done”. Feels good to be treated well like that.

Absolutely decadent. Ambiance, quality, people = Community Wonderful to go to this patisserie - truly a family operation. There is music on Saturdays with local artists and a meeting space for the community for tea and some cakes. Come early! They sell out fast.

A Must Go! Shout out to Juan and everyone at JC Patissier for creating an experience and pastry first! My new go to spot for a hot cup and croissant. We had a white chocolate mocha, after eight latte, and delicious baked goods for a sweet cash deal. Owner Juan is a gracious host who welcomed us as special guests. With a godfather aura and genuine delight he served us as if we were royalty. The vibe was alive with chit chatter from happy customers. Surprise to find the locale in downtown Thorold. Get out of your car and out from the tim hortons drive thru people! Step inside the European world of JC Patissier!

If I could give them a hundred star I woulddddd!!!! The customer service, family vibe, pastries, aesthetic of the cafe is just phenomenal. Its always going to be my go to “secret spot” to take my friends to.

I may be biased because the owners are close personal friends. However, the way the employees and owners of this patisserie treat their customers is not far off how they treat me and their own family. They legitimately care about everyone they meet, every coffee they brew and every dessert they make. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey. The products are delicious and addictive.

Been twice great both times and very friendly owners. Will be back great crepes. Next best thing to Montreal bakeries.
