I
have
stayed
at
this
property
twice.
PROS:
The
location
is
good
if
you
are
in
the
area
for
anything
to
do
with
Brock
University.
The
staff
are
young
but
friendly
and
helpful
(for
the
most
part).
Despite
it
being
at
capacity
on
both
my
visits,
I
found
it
to
be
quiet
-
which
I
appreciate.
Free
parking
is
plentiful.
The
rooms
are
quite
spacious.
Bathrooms
ok.
CONS:
On
my
most
recent
stay,
we
were
originally
given
a
room
that
had
obviously
had
a
flood
of
some
kind.
The
laminate
floors
had
all
buckled
and
there
was
baseboard
missing.
The
room
smelled
like
mold
and
standing
water.
We
asked
to
be
moved
and
they
were
very
good
about
it.
However,
the
young
woman
at
the
desk
obviously
didn't
realize
that
I
could
hear
her
when
she
was
using
her
walkie-talkie
and
sending
someone
to
check
the
room....she
was
less
nice.
The
new
room
was
just
fine
HOWEVER,
we
opened
the
drawers
to
find
half-eaten
food
that
had
been
left
behind.
I
quietly
spoke
to
a
housekeeper
on
our
floor
and
she
took
care
of
it
right
away.
Which
brings
me
to
the
last
issue:
upon
our
arrival
home,
my
son
realized
that
he
had
left
a
couple
of
things
behind
(we
were
in
a
rush)
and
we
called
the
hotel
right
away.
The
person
who
answered
the
phone
couldn't
have
been
less
helpful
and
frankly,
was
rude.
He
said
since
the
items
(two
golf
hats
and
a
dirty
golf
towel)
had
not
been
"logged
into
lost
and
found",
there
was
nothing
he
could
do.
I
suggested
that
perhaps
housekeeping
hadn't
opened
the
closet
where
we
left
the
items
(since
they
hadn't
done
so
before
we
checked
in....see
above,
half-eaten
food)
and
asked
if
someone
could
ask
the
current
occupants
in
the
morning.
He
didn't
seem
to
think
that
was
possible.
Seriously.
I
have
to
be
back
in
St
Catharines
and
will
go
to
the
hotel
myself
and
speak
to
someone
in
person.Hopefully,
they
will
be
more
helpful.
I
am
really,
really
unimpressed.
Finally,
about
the
buffet
breakfast.
It
is
mediocre
at
best.
The
lady
who
works
in
the
restaurant
is
lovely
-
but
the
food
isn't
very
good.
Don't
bother.
