If I could give zero stars I would. Hands down the worst breakfast restaurant I've ever been too. We (table of 3) waited in the tiny doorway for about 20 minutes waiting to be seated. The waiter was very pleasant but not very attentive. 2 of us ordered the choose your own breakfast, and one of us ordered a pre set breakfast combo. The menu is very confused with way way too much on it. After waiting about 45 minutes after ordering the food finally came out and we all just looked down and looked up at each other. The tater tots and bacon were so over cooked it was shocking they would send it out! Bacon was black and like glass, literally glass. Even the table beside us didn't eat there's and the waitress didn't notice until they were ready to leave and cooked them more to take home. The tater tots just crumbled into dust. The scrambled eggs were cooked, but the easy over were hard over. Even the bread has no butter and we had to ask for more. No one enjoyed the half cooked and burnt on one side sausages either and left pretty much all of them in our plates. For $32 for 2 people, it's a mistake we won't ever make again. The inside is dirty and very old, and not a nice retro old. After using the bathroom and seeing how filthy it was I still had high hopes for the food, but was truly disappointed. I'm not sure how they have won all the readers choice awards from Niagara this week they have all over the counter. Save your money and go somewhere else that won't make you sick.

Not a cleansed location. Seen rats running through the back of the building hole, never fix their garbage unit behind the building so small animals eat the bags. Neighbours litter on the lot area. One of them I saw a large man from his car throwing a plastic cup at the back. Always have a burning smell in the morning leaving foggy smoke coming up through, likely burns toast so waste of product almost as a daily basis even today from this date of post I've heard this again from living residents. Staff or probably the owner always smoke right behind the building door instead of giving a distance from the building. Ironically saw neighbours smoking out the window when it is a non-smoking building. Not polite and friendly working with a landlord on solving problems and reaching concerns. Have witnesses. I've been working in food businesses enough and they didn't pass health and safety. If you check reviews please always look at the lowest too to see the ratings as well. And if you just like the food they use Big Red products. You can save money on buying it at the market that's about a five minute drive over. It's just called Big Red Market if you haven't heard of the place.

My friend and I come to Cosmo's all the time and we love it! We usually get the 'YOU ARE FABULOUS' (two eggs, bacon, home fries and toast). Eggs and bacon are always made exactly to order (soft poached, crispy bacon, thank you very much.) The service is impeccable! Friendly, efficient, and attentive - even when a surprise walk-in group of 30 hockey players pops by, my food arrives quickly, hot, and delicious. I love that the coffee comes with a carafe and my cup is always full. The music and décor is fifties and fun. Amenities are clean. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing meal at Cosmos Diner! I ordered the bacon and veggies skillet and absolutely loved it. The place is very cosy and the service was amazing

Located on Front Street with plenty of street and a large parking lot at the back of the restaurant. There is a large menu to select from and indulged with the steak & eggs paired with rye toast and sweet potato fries. The steak was cooked perfectly paired with the sunny side eggs and well toasted bread to sop up the yolks with. The coffee was endless and even provided a carafe to satisfy my coffee addiction. The staff here are super friendly and love the decor and vibe. Definitely a must goto if you are in the Niagara region and want to enjoy a nice breakfast.

We use to go to cosmos all the time, but haven’t been in a long time, we always enjoyed it never had a complaint! But today we realized prices went up which I totally understand! But the food was not the same, I ordered the breakfast poutine which was my absolute favourite, and it just just wasn’t the same,it was cold!!! My husband got the corn beef hash and it was the same cold… My daughters meal was fine ! Overall for the food we were disappointed. The waitress was amazing, friendly nice and made sure our coffees were filled. The restaurant itself I found was very dirty. The carpet had food all over it, the bathroom was very dirty. Just not how it use to be. The knifes had food still stuck on them, which I understand , sometimes the machine doesn’t catch everything, but it still through me off due to cleanliness of the restaurant. For a $63 breakfast it wasn’t worth it.

The presentation of the food and the quality was excellent. The service was great and the staff is friendly. The bathrooms and floor in the main area could benefit from some housekeeping.

This place is incredible! The menu is extensive and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the lobster grilled cheese, and the lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry sauce. 🤤 The ambiance was nice - really enjoyed their music selection playing at the right volume in the background. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The only complaint would be the cleanliness of the bathroom and sticky floor. Other than that, 100% recommend and will be going back for more!

It's a cute breakfast place. I didn't enjoy the breakfast sausage, however, as it had a peculiar taste to it. The rest of the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Homefries were my favorite!

The last time I went maybe a few months ago it was REALLY good, but this time was kinda disappointing. The pancakes were so much smaller, and they were the main thing I wanted. Maybe the thickness of the pancakes makes up for the size but there's only so thick a pancake can be before it's not good and it was pretty close.

Honestly disappointed. We love to support our local businesses and have been here before and it has been great! This was a different experience. As soon as we received our coffee and ordered we were ignored. The service was not friendly and we felt like a burden to the servers. The restaurant was not very busy it and took over an hour to receive our food and we were not checked up on once the entire hour. Such a shame because the food was good! Hopefully they can fix the staffing issue.

More delicious breakfast options than you can shake a stick at! Friendly service. Great food. Cool vintage atmosphere. This "Michigander" may come all the way back to Thorold just to have lunch there!

We were from out of town and the breakfast was fast, very delicious. Western sandwich best I've ever had.

If you're looking for a good breakfast experience, this is not the place to go. Long wait time for service and even longer to get your food. It was butter with a side of breakfast and no discount when I bring it to their attention 0/10 would not recommend

I liked this diner a lot! The interior was bright and colourful, with pictures of classic stars and vintage records adorning the walls. Even the fixtures gave the place a nice retro feel. The place is of a good size, but it wasn't crowded around 2pm on Saturday. The menu is huge, with so many options that you'll be inclined to come back to try something new. This visit we tried the breakfast poutine and breakfast lasagna as they sounded unique. Both were delicious and very filling, and were of good value considering the price. Overall, I'm looking forward to visiting again. This is a place you'd want to go whether you're looking for a nice nostalgic joint or hearty hangover food (I won't tell you which reason I came here for).

Our 1st visit but not our last for sure. Wonderful delicious food. So many choices it will make your head spin. Run don't walk to visit and eat.. you won't regret it.

Had breakfast here and it was delicious!! I had the avacado and bacon eggs benedict with home fries!! It was soo good, the home fries are the best I've had. Others at the table got breakfast specials...eggs, home fries, bacon and toast. The portion are generous! My niece got the kids pancakes and she was very happy...they were big! Lol The staff was so friendly and the service was fast! Worth a visit next time you are in Thorold!!

Love this place. Great menu selection. Great customer service and funky retro diner atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Check them out!!
