They graciously gave away free tickets to their Sunflower Festival and we happened to snag a few. It’s a lovely little farm with a beautiful sunflower patch. Different varieties to see and you get 1 free flower per person with entry. There are quite a few photo ops in the field (tractor, vintage trucks, couch, bathtub, old door frame) making for very nice photos. We saw some farm animals and a little tractor trolley ride for small kiddies. They have a cafe/beer garden we didn’t get a chance to try. We’ll definitely come back in the fall!

Ive been going at Howells since 2019. Last year we were here 4-5x and we always have a blast. So much fun things to do every season and such a great way of spending time outdoors with loved ones. I loveee their set up, food and the staff. Very friendly vibe all the time. This place is good for couples, family, kids & dogs too! 🥰🥰🥰 definitely coming back over and over again!

Great fun and lots to do! Great for children, you can probably spend a whole day here. My partner and I were the only people that came with no kids, but we still managed to spend 2 hours here and had a blast. The staff are all very nice. Buy your tickets online before getting there to make the process smoother, they do not sell tickets at the door. They have free wifi on site.

We had such a blast here this Thanksgiving weekend. It wasn't too busy thanks to the time slot tickets and you aren't rushed out regardless of that. The pumpkin options were endless, the games for kids (and adults) were so much fun. We got so many great pictures. We also bought candy apples, fudge and of course our pumpkins and are so happy with everything. Fresh and delicious. Also the prices of everything was shockingly good. I was expecting to spend way more than we did. It was very stroller friendly for any moms wondering. We had to leave it a few places but knew we could trust it being there. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back again annually.

Great place but dissapoited that the corn maze was not operational due to mud....seriously mud, it's a corn maze, have it opened for those who still want to go, or lay down some hay...it is a farm with plenty of hay everywhere else there, as well as the pig races not operational. Still charge you full price. Have been coming for years and this was the worst yet, and did I mention the tractor/hay ride which the driver was doing more talking and less of what would have entailed his job...line took forever. Thank you, very memorable, may second guess for next year....not the only pumpkin patch around. Happy Thanksgiving/Halloween.

This was our first time visiting Howell’s and our first impression was pretty good! It’s decorated really well, you definitely feel the fall/Halloween spirit from the moment you walk in. Lots to do for kids. I did find it a tad bit over priced ($20/person seems a bit much, $24 during high season, which is the most expensive I’ve seen for something like this) but I could get over the price since there is a decent amount to do. Where my main complaint is is in regards to the food situation. The line was long (understandable) but the efficiency was terrible. They have a limited menu, where fries are the most common item so it seems like they should be a lot more efficient at pumping out fries so things didn’t take so long. And with cranky kids waiting this long for food, it’s just an unpleasant experience. We probably spent about 40 minutes lining up and waiting for food. Overall, Howell’s was a good time, we will go back, but we will probably not be ordering food.

We've been going since our kids were little. I think since 2014? This year we went for both the sunflowers and the fall festival. We missed the corn maze this year, which I'm guessing was replaced by the sunflower maze, so that was sad. Other than that, it was great. The addition of the firepit rentals were lovely. The ability to order right to your pit was great. It would just be nice to expand the firepit to the stuff available in the food building

Amazing family farm! This was one of my favourite places. Perfect for everyone! Lots of things to do, eat and stay entertained. Wagon ride is short but certainly sweet, so make sure to try it! The games and activities are addictive (in a good way). This place is huge and has ample parking (multiple lots). You could easily spend the entire day here. Make sure to buy your tickets online prior to arrival as internet in the area isn't the best yet.

We came with our 11 month old this weekend and had a great time. We spent about 2 hours there despite that most of the activities are of course geared towards older kids. There is really something for everyone. They had at least 3 different types of tractor rides for kids & adults, a playground, lots of different themed play areas, pig races to watch, giant connect 4, a haunted house, etc! I could not believe how much stuff was in there! Not to mention all the animals to see and feed. As I type this I continue to think of more things… it is truly jam packed. We parked in parking lot C but it was still very close. We tried the french fries, funnel cake & hot dog and all were as expected- delicious deep fried fair food. Definitely will come back again.

Howell's is an annual family tradition and we wouldn't change that..so much to do for the kids and the adults, from pig racing to pumpkin slingshots to tractor rides. Staff is great and the whole atmosphere is always incredible

Really fun for people of all ages! Lots of great games and attractions, but you have to pay for most games on top of the entry fee (like the CNE). Don't plan on coming here to eat a great meal, not too many food options beyond hotdogs and chicken fingers. Overall, this was a super cool spot for an evening out with friends.

We did one of the firepit rentals here from 5pm-9pm on Saturday. It is a fair trek from Toronto, about an hour and a half each way. We rented one of the premium pits for $100. While I understand the length of time for the rental is great, I do still feel it is a bit overpriced. The premium pits were semi-private, having an almost-hip-height blockade around you, but you could still clearly hear many other conversations from nearby pits, especially the more rowdy groups. Unfortunately some people from one group close to us were smoking pot and I do not think this should be allowed as it ruins the experience a little having to smell that. I understand it is legal, but it's just too close to others who may not want to smell that during a private firepit experience. There were also tons of kids around. The number one most bothersome thing, however, were the extremely loud bangs and screaming coming from the kids' basketball activity just a short walk down the road. It was just constant banging almost until the time we left at 9pm. So all the hours we were there, we had to listen to the banging of balls. It was quite invasive. For whatever reason, the flames of our firepit were never turned up and we were absolutely freezing. We only noticed once a lot of the other firepits started going that their flames were much higher. So if you notice your flames are low, ask one of the stuff members to turn it up for you. Lesson learned! If you want hot beverages, you have to walk all the way back to the entrance of the farm. But otherwise you can order food or s'mores kits to be brought to you. All in all, I'd say I might go back because this firepit is much nicer than some of the others we've been to and does offer at least a bit of privacy. But if you're sensitive to noise or not okay with hearing screaming kids the entire time you're there, finding a firepit more private might be required. The premium pits are not clearly identified when booking (nor do they have numbers on them when you get there), so I would advise to perhaps get some assistance if trying to book a premium pit far away from the basketball area.

It’s quite an interesting place for a family with kids to spend several hours. What we liked about the place that they have a lot of original activities in compared to most of the farms that we usually go. They even recorded their own songs which takes an effort. Also, a nice touch was to give flowers away for every ticket you have. We were lucky to have pretty good discount so for the price we paid it was totally worth it, otherwise if we would if we paid full price if it would be too expensive for us. Also, it was a pity that some activities were not working at all. But at the same time we were lucky not to be in a big crowd, so a lot of activities were just for ourselves. I would recommend this place for sure, especially if you have a discount.

I love coming here every year! It's definitely a family tradition 😀 We come for the Halloween fun and pumpkin doughnuts 😋 It gets busy the closer it gets to Halloween. Tuesday is cheap nights at $15 pp vs a regular night is $25 pp. It can get busy on cheap nights so go around 5ish and you should be early enough to miss the rush.

I’ve been visiting Howell’s since I was a kid, and it has never lost its magic. There are many activities for people of all ages. I enjoyed the pumpkin slingshot, and even won a candy apple as a prize for getting a pumpkin in the target. The haunted house has not changed since I was a kid and I love it! There’s private fire pits available to rent which I think is a great touch for folks who want to just sit and enjoy the vibes of Howell’s. Loved the animals they have at the farm, which includes pigs, roosters, goats, and sheep’s. The lines for food were super long which definitely sucks, but the food is great nonetheless. But I suppose the lines were long as they offer a great discount for the early bird times (3-4:30 pm). It was $15+ tax for the early bird times compared to $25+ tax for anytime after 5pm. Had a great time and can’t wait to return next year.

This place is a great little family owned farm. I gave 4 stars because this year seems very rush and has barely any sunflowers. (The pics posted are from 2022) I love coming here in the fall though. Pumpkin galore.

A little pricey. A little chaotic entering and exiting. But we had loads of fun. We wish it was a little less busy but worth the experience.

It's a fun walk through experience for kids. The staff was smiling and friendly. Well maintained and beautiful. Cheep days/ hours and kids hours are available to suit your needs too. (Really awful kettle corn though)

Great farm for the family, lots of activities offered. Tickets can be purchased online as there is an admission fee for the activities which include a corn maze, tractor rides, animals and a haunted house. There is no fee for the beer and wine garden. Fire pits can also be rented and are nice and private. Pumpkins were priced well and they offer a wide selection.

Lots of fun! Went for the Fall Festival this October. Lots of things to do. Family friendly and there is something for everyone at the farm. Lots of pretty pumpkins to choose from. Barnyard animals, food areas, indoor market, wine and beer area, fall snacks, hayrides, spook barn, corn maze, pumpkin slingshots, apple cannons, etc! Definitely a place to be for the fall! Pretty scenery too 🍂🍁🎃

Beautiful way to spend the day with family. Fields of sunflowers and wild flowers, farm animals and animation. Beer Garden was a cozy place to rest.

Although our experience was delayed because of growing conditions, the beauty of the flowers was well worth the wait. We were impressed with the size of the fields, the variety of flowers and the photo opps provided by the farm. The staff were friendly and knowlegable. Because so many varieties were yet to bloom, it made us want to return.

We had a really good time! The firepit was so much fun! We usually only have fires in summer but that is going to change! The lights were so beautiful! Really appreciated the heaters! The people who run this place ate all very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This place is gorgeous!! So many sunflowers field, different props and big areas for the animals to run around. I didn’t have much time to sit down and try the food. Will be trying next time.
