    The worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had in my life. My partner and I came in around 3am as we were hungry and visiting ThunderBay for the first time. The sign said “open dining room” so we opened the door and went in to order. We placed and paid for our order at a kiosk and then waited.. and waited.. and waited.. (for a total of 20mins) The restaurant appeared to be quite disheveled and dirty. Finally, after shouting hello multiple times.. an employee quite rudely told us that they were closed and could not complete our order. I then started to feel very uncomfortable as I had already paid for my order, had been waiting, and was being treated like I was doing something wrong.. so I began to record a video.. (happy to share it with corporate or management) a group of workers ended up accusing us of trespassing and saying that we should not be in the restaurant or recording… WHY was the door open and Why did the sign say dining room open??? Very misleading. The supervisor or manager on duty ended up giving me a cash refund and we left.. completely unsatisfied. We should have been spoken to with more respect instead of being accused of trespassing. This left a very sour taste in my mouth. We will never be returning to this particular location in ThunderBay.

    Me and my friend came from Toronto for a visit. We needed coffee around 12:30am. We went for the drive through for a hot coffee, my friend ordered tea and i ordered coffee. What I got was really cold coffee which was surprising when i held the cup, that it was not hot at all. My friend was driving and the staff said it was hot, I opened and took a sip in front of the staff to make sure it was not hot before asking them to heat it. She took the cup back in and in about 20 seconds came back with a cup of coffee which was the same, i think. It was shocking when she said, it's steaming hot when she gave it back and I thought she might be joking. I took a sip again and asked my friend to test if it was hot or not before giving it back. I asked my friend to return the coffee and to leave the place asking them to keep the money! My friend demanded to get hot coffee since we asked and paid for that service. The staff said to wait in front of the store and we drove to the front and waited there for almost 10 minutes. I was losing my patience since my friend was having tea and it was almost finished. I went inside to tell them that i don't prefer to wait for the night for a coffee and that I'd get it from somewhere else. The fact that the attitude that I received was in such a manner which made me think they don't even care to give a good service but also don't value the customer or the person in front. They had an expression which would make someone feel less or I'm not sure if it was racism. They simply asked to wait and didn't care to apologize or even say please. I got the coffee after a minute and left the place. The counter staff said, wait the coffee machine is brewing. To which I asked could you please let me know how much time it would take. The person replied about 30 seconds, to which I opened the timer and set 1 minute. I placed my phone on the counter and waited. When the alarm sounded after the timer expired the counter staff knew what I did and gave me a look. I got the coffee and thanked both the staff at the counter and drive-through and wished them a good night to which I didn't receive any response. Anyways, manners and good culture are hard to be taught! I left the place thinking if this is even Canada!

    How Can I give 0 stars? LOL. SIGN SAYS drive thru 24/7. It's closed at 4am. The employee was sitting in the dining room eating 4 happy meals and would not serve me. Happened at 4:20 am 31/08/2022. The other employee was sleeping on the table. LOL. COOL CITY. NICE VISITING.

    THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MCDONALDS EVER!!!! I used to drive twice the distance to go to this one because it used to be better. Now unfortunately they literally get the order wrong 8 or 9x out of 10. That is LITERALLY 80-90% FAIL RATE. The manager Ahmed and Gangader say that as the the customer its your responsibility to check the entire bag AND OPEN EVERY SANDWICH TO ENSURE you get what you paid for, and they WILL NOT BE HONORING CORRECTIONS FOR THEIR MISTAKES. I find that odd, your paying for something, you dont get it. Then they either dont answer the phone or flat out say its your problem for not checking entire order. But isnt that what theyre paid for??? The people working there cannot understand what your saying, ive experienced them not even knowing what canadian currency is, we cannot understand them, and they just flat out never give you what you pay for. Im one of the nicest people and i rarely get mad when i call. But me and everybody i know is beyond fed up. They need to hire some more people or just close their doors because the level of service will destroy this business. I want to start a petition just so the owner knows its not just a select few. Most people just cant be bothered to even call in, never mind if they dont even answer. Today i ordered pancakes, 2 mcgriddles: 1 sausage and 1 bacon, and 1 sausage mcmuffin. They gave me 2 bacon mcgriddles, one with no cheese no egg. Who gets a mcgriddle with no egg no cheese???? Jus the griddle and bacon!?!??! Lmfao this places customer service makes me sick.

    Ordered chicken McMuffin and all I got is bacon and cheese. Called the store for letting them know but the number is not in service. Disappointed

    I had my 4 kids with me. I was told to wait at least 30 minutes to order because of the power outage that evening. Five minutes later, a Caucasian man with his kid walks in, and he gets served right away. Also, during the power outage, the staff gave some free food away to Caucasian families, but my family was ignored. I thought I was just paranoid, but after the guy that came in with his kid, I wasn't . I immediately walked out. It was disgusting to be treated differently because of my skin color. I won't be stepping into this McDonald's place again unless it's under new management. I'll be reporting it to their head office as well!! This is the McDonald's on Memorial.

    Egg McMuffin in my order, was after bfast hours so expected delay...no surprise. However, upsize the fries for extra monopoly ..... Staff must have enjoyed ripping them off. Not impressed.

    Second time this week I've had old fries, I'm talking crunchy, hard, stale fries. Once was near midnight so figured it was for the hour closure 24h sometimes have, but the second was during lunchtime. Burgers were clearly sitting and thrown together. Good service, not great quality, even for McDonald's.

    Half an hour to get “fast food” does not seem normal. They should have a sign like lineups at an amusement park have that says the wait time for a ride is half an hour. If they don’t have the staff that’s understandable, but they should close instead of wasting everyone’s time.

    Completed a mobile order for pickup through the drive through just after 4 am. Drive through lanes were closed off so we went straight to the window, tried for close to half an hour to get someone's attention but was unsuccessful. Spoke to a maintenance staff who said everyone was gone on break. Ended up giving up and leaving and will have to figure out how to get a refund through the app.

    So much for "fast food", always getting parked. Only ordered 2 drinks and got parked cuz they guy didn't even punch it in when we ordered and they had to do it at the pay window thus it wasn't ready.

    What's the point of having a 24 hour D/T when you are told at 3 am- All we have are Chicken Nuggets- Jr. Chickens or McChickens- take it or leave it. Well I left it. As a consumer you shouldn't be limited or restricted as to what you want to order. I wanted a Big Mac Meal and was basically told AGAIN- We only have Chicken Nuggets- Jr. Chickens or McChickens. Maybe you should consider reducing or having a "Special" Late Night Menu for those guests coming thru your D/T at 3 am. Very disappointing and it seemed like the person taking my order didn't really care.

    Fastest service McDonald’s in town. Recently interiorly renovated. Play-Place is now 1/2 the size of the original. A manager kindly circulates to the seated customers.

    Would recommend this location. Can get busy quick in the kids area only having two tables. Service was great and the place was the cleanest I've scene for a fast food joint .... had a great experience

    McDonalds is a quick way to grab food and I don't expect perfection on every visit but this is the second time I've ordered a double hamburger and received a single paddy WITHOUT the toppings I requested. Also why are people constantly asked to leave the drive thru window to go park and wait for their food even when no one is behind them? Why are the fries cold after waiting for the food to arrive? The fries look full until you squeeze the packaging a little and then the fries fall to 3/4 full. Do potatoes cost that much that you can't fill the fry container?

    I was excited today to visit McDonald’s for Oreo McFlurry as I got here I decided to have regular size one so I order regular size I paid for regular size but I got empty cup so be careful coming to this place save your money 😢

    Staff were super friendly and helpful. Play place has some light issues so they had to close it when the sun was setting but staff were upfront and apologetic about the issue. Food tasted at it should.

    I was just trying to order food on december 15th at 840pm and the staff told me not to and to wait for them to finish a birthday celebration they were doing for a staff member in the middle of the eating area, no one could take my order and is there no staff room?

    Awesome atmosphere for the kids to have their favourite meals and have fun super fun playing in the indoor playground. Great staff and wonderful service as well. Highly recommended.

    Only issue is drive thru could be better, some days it is really quick but majority of the time we just get sent to a spot to wait for food. Even if it is only a couple of quick cheese burgers with no one else in line behind us, we still get sent to wait at a spot. Again, if sent to a spot, some days they come with our food really quickly (to the point of why did we get sent to a waiting spot), or we are waiting 10+ minutes. Besides that, staff are always friendly and our order is rarely wrong and/or missing items. 😊

    Prices are getting a bit out of control, the experience here is usually not good. It's barely food, but scratches an itch at times, wish my drive-through experiences haven't been so crummy the last couple years. Don't take orders if you can't fill them properly.

    Went to get some McDonald’s around 2:30am, and it looked like it was closed. We sat and waited in the courier parking and saw another vehicle pull up. You could see workers walking around, and one even went by the window. There was about 6 workers in there just walking around. This wasn’t the only one that did this. The one on Cumberland did the same.

    I mean, it's McDonald's. Sorry to say I can't give a chain fast food joint 5 stars, there's nothing life changing about it, and all my favourite items have been taken off the menu. Still, if you want a simple meal, without a lot of fuss, it's good.

    I always go in to get my food since my orders tend to be wrong a lot. Always get your receipt just for this reason. It makes it a much smoother transaction if you need to call or go back in.
