This resort is not well thought-out. You have techno music playing on loudpspeakers directly next to the massage area. You can dance in your seat while you wait your massage. Downstairs, plenty of young men chatting loudly in the bath, next to the "relax" area. Long time for check-in and no one working the tanning beds. Where are the employees?

I visited Caesar’s for a day with a friend and we regretted going there. Rude reception service whose charges are outrageous, changing rooms are dirty with sand all over on the floor, the shower rooms weren’t clean, saunas overcrowded. It wasn’t a pleasant spa day. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I deeply regretted purchasing their yearly subscription. Not only that it is extremely overpriced, but everytime I complained about something they at the reception took it personally, like I went to their home to complain, not about bad service I'm paying 115 per month. Everytime I got I will inform management, so either the management doesnt care at all or they are not informed. Never an update about things not working, so it happened that I went there for nothing and just came back, pool is overcrowded, you barely can move there, let alone swim nicely. I can't wait for 4 more months to expire and never there again.

During my first visit I had to find out from a fellow visitor that the cold showers in the spa had been inoperative for 3 weeks. I was not made aware of this by the 2 staff members I spoke to. How can you have your spa open for so long without cold showers? When I pointed this out to a staff member afterwards, no apology or any understanding at all was given. Very disappointing.

Caesar trying to promote itself as a luxurious spa/resort, which is a lie. This is a basic facility and I wouldnt call it spa and definitely not a resort. I paid for one year and it was waste of money. Always crowded, many days I go and wait 1 hour or more then just leave without having my workout done. Changing rooms smell bad and too small nowhere to sit, shampoo and bath salt always empty, showers and jacuzzi/steam room can be closed for weeks for maintenance. You cant control if water is cold or warm, on many days I had to take cold showers and also warm showers during summer!! Every few weeks something is closed and not working, and of course members are never compensated or given extra days when this happen. In Nov 2022 they had a horrible reciptionist denying us membership even when we offered paying for full year, dont know her name but blond and chubby, she worked till summer 2023 and never saw her again. The woman in sauna ritual (Suz**n) always speak Dutch even when many of us are expats and she even asked who doesnt speak Dutch? The ignored us and continued speaking Dutch. I never felt welcomed and didnt understand what she was saying. Once I was asked to leave because Caesar published wrong opening hours during holidays, even when I complained and showed them written proof from Caesar email, they blamed me. I will never go back to this place and I do not recommend it.

I love this restaurant/cafe and enjoy having breakfast there after workout while my little ones spend time in the kids club which is a great feature of Caesar fitness. Top 🔝

This is my 3rd year being a member and I must say despite the cons (see the full review) I still love it. Pros: Plenty of activities to do. The equipment is well taken cared of. While the pool is only 20m, it does the purpose of doing your laps. The sauna area is very nice to relax after your workout. The services they offer like physiotherapy, massages, spa and kids club make it a nice venue to pamper and take care of yourself. Classes are also very nice with a wide variety. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Cons: It’s quite expensive and they increase the amount significantly each year. I started paying €1,150 per year in 2021 and now when I’m due to renew they told me it will be €1,450. Being more transparent about their prices on the website would be helpful. I wouldn’t mind the increase at all (and wouldn’t even feel the need to write this review) if they would also keep the quality of the place, would be more careful with details or if they would listen to the suggestions and complaints better e.g. the swimming suit drying machines have been gone for months, the hairdryers don’t work sometimes, the repairs on the shower area took very long time. I suggested twice to put a “please be quiet” signs in the saunas and relaxed lounges and they still haven’t done anything to help prevent non relaxed behavior like rude people speaking inside the saunas (mostly couples) or when they are groups chatting so loud right outside the saunas. I don’t mind people socializing in the pool or jacuzzi area but come on! Be mindful of people in the saunas wanting to have some peace and quiet to relax. Why should we users have to always correct people while the facility could also make this “silence rule” mandatory as they do in any normal sauna/spa? The only suggestion I’m glad they listened to was to put signs of “mandatory to use a towel or bathrobe” in the lounge area, yet, it is still shocking to see men come in from time to time with a tiny towel and lay over the couches while still being wet. To cope with the above, I try to go in non peak times, and despite the cons I still think is the best complete gym/spa in The Hague. Hope this review helps you make a good decision to join (or not).

Nice facilities. Some areas could do with more vigorous cleaning like the showers, they've sometimes been quite grubby with empty soap dispensers. I've also never noticed anyone cleaning the saunas before, worrying for an area with mandatory nudity. Also would be great to have some staff enforce the behaviour or etiquette in the locker rooms. Occasionally you'll get a bunch of friends just chilling awkwardly next to you, fixing each other's hair while you're trying to get changed. Or some dude just talking on the phone whilst cleaning his toes during the peak hours.

Faculities are good. Staff in the gym are generally nice warm and friendly. There is one dutch guy who works on the gym floor, he walks round like psyco path. He is a bit odd but i guess thats just him. He reminds me of the terminator. There is a bulgarian guy who works there too. He is always very helpful and makes a real effort to talk to everyone. The cleaning staff are warm and professional. When i had a problem with my locker he took time to help me he always greets with a warm smile. The staff at reception are ok apart from one dutch girl who seems to dislike it when a customer asks questions. Probably because shes on a low wage and paying her way through university. Sure she is suffering from attention deficit disorder.

After a 2 year-long membership, I had a humiliating experience with the management. I got stuck in my home Country due to the lockdown imposed to pre-empt Covid-19 diffusion and requested termination of my membership. However, after receiving several phone calls from Caesar's management, I decided to convert my cancellation into a open suspension of my membership free ot charge. I did so just out of mercy and solidarity towards an activity that was certainly suffering because of the lockdown. I put only one condition: that they inform me before they reopen and start charging me again. Guess what? Nobody notified me, and after seven months since entering Caesar last I received a 200 € bill. When I contested this, I got a petty email telling me that they did not have the time to call all customers who had suspended their membership. Ofc they had enough time to call me daily when they wanted me to convert my termination into a suspension, and to charge me for a service I never used. I found this incredibly disrespectful and petty as hell. Never going to step in again. If you are looking for a sports club in the hague, make sure you find one where they actually respect customers.

20 metres long and the water is 27 degrees centigrade. It's not an Olympic size pool; but it certainly meets all the requirements to do 20-30 laps.🏊🏻‍♀️ And later, move on to the jacuzzi or the 6 different mixed saunas. 👍🏻 Bring and ID and be nice with the reception Team.

If you change your rules, at least post it on the website in a clear way. Opening hours indicated on the website are only valid for members. If you come for a daily visit, the opening hours are different. We came for nothing today, we spent plenty of time to travel and booked free time for it. We will never come to this place again.

I don’t know why it calls itself a luxury gym as its nothing but just regular. The gym is completely full, workout areas are full, nearly all machines are occupied, there is nasty smell in the changing rooms and doors to changing rooms bizarrely enough are wide open. It’s impossible to find a spot to train which is super frustrating.

Milking money to members, dishonest practices So the place is great, but be ready for unpleasant experiences. First and most important, you sign up for a year at an agreed monthly cost, and the fine print says that they can change that amount during the year, while you are still bound by it! I have never seen this before, but i signed up in October and in January they arbitrarily changed my monthly price. Then, I had booked a massage, got COVID and called one day in advance - and they are still charging me. Horrible management, purports to be a wellness center but really they are after your money. Too bad because the place ad the pool and everything is great otherwise

Unfortunately an extremely unpleasant experience today. The lady at the reception was very rude and arrogant when my husband bought a day pass. Thank you Ceasar for helping me make a quick decision not to prolong any further the membership

Overpriced for drop ins. For that price point I would expect the machines to be well maintained but many of the machines have rusted pins and the leather is cracking. Also the towel/swimsuit dryer was out of order.

Not a bad sports facility, though it obviously has a few challenges to maintain consistency of service delivery, and the management do not appear to connect well with all their customers / members. The instructors are great, the front desk and facility staff too, yet classes were recently shortened by the owners, thus meaning there is a rush to get through the programmes now - which leads to health and safety risks, plus an impact to the enjoyment factor. Some classes are also very busy, so this coupled with less time means the value is impacted. I guess if you can look beyond how it is run, it is an ok place, with a good pool and spa area. A lack of competition in the centre of The Hague means they are not pushed to improve matters and can do what they wish without surveying members, which is strange . Subscription costs will go up to, so hard to see what their USP and value is, beyond location.

Cesar Fitness in The Hague is the ultimate gym for me. I’ve been a member since 2020, and I thoroughly enjoy my workouts here. The pool and sauna area create a serene atmosphere, and the staff is exceptionally polite, making it the perfect fitness haven.

  • 5/5 Vlada L. 1 year ago on Google
Overall a great experience especially if you go off peak times. They have more gym and wellness facilities than you are likely to ever need. The pool and saunas really set this apart from other gyms in The Hague. Staff are friendly and hygiene seems good. Nothing to complain about really.

Absolut incredible arrogant person at entrance, that is the lady that sells tickets ( Saturday, 7th Oct, 2023 11:35ish, lady on the left, near the wall- Victoria- her right standing colleague was professional and welcoming). Got a free pass at Embassy Festival 2023, used 1st and though to come 2nd time before subscribing long term. Initially was told price of 32.5 for day pass, afterwards she asked 39.5 when doing. She then rudely asked 3 times if I have a towel, with a suspicious tone. probably she was acting like that given I was not (yet) a member. But that was the whole purpose of me to be there, to become one.:))The club is nice and good facilities, but this type of attitude is unacceptable. Suggest management to review this singular employee.

After trying many other GYMs in the Hague, I ended up at Caesar. Some people say the personeel is not friendly- I haven’t experienced that. Busy? Yeah, there are timings when it is extremely busy, but if you are flexible with your schedule, you can avoid it. So far only great experience there!

Best gym, exceptional staff and equipment. Swimming pool is a big plus for people who like a post-workout dip. I feel that the swim wear drier in the men's changing room is often out of service which is a disappointment. Overall, I would highly recommend this gym. Great value for money.

Spacious, clean, and doesn't get crowded easily. Lacks spirit though probably because they change staff members and trainers frequently. In terms of facilities, it is the best gym in the hague but it is also the most expensive one. If you are planning to come by car, check first the parking rates before you subscribe.

Very well-maintained gym with a variety of fitness classes for all levels. The spa adds an extra layer of indulgence to the fitness experience. Margarita’s friendly demeanor made me feel very welcomed. Her customer-oriented skills made my experience even more positive!

price is a little higher than other places but the quality worth the money. the only problem is that there is no free parking in the area but after calculating the total cost of membership + parking I would say it is still worth the money ! customer service is great and the facility is very clean. the trainers are very motivating, hardworking and kind. One thing that I do not understand is why many gyms have installment periods of 4 weeks? it messes up with my expense budgeting.

I’ve gone to this center for 2 years, and enjoyed it very much, especially the very good gym equipment, yoga classes, the swimming pool (which was always full, however), and a range of amazing saunas. The coaches are nice, although sometimes they’d skip the scheduled ‘core sessions’ that’s supposed to take place at a certain time every day. But overall, it’s definitely the best gym/fitness in The Hague.

This has been the best gym I have ever been to in The Hague. Clean, spacious, no smell of sweat. No smell of sweat anywhere! The spa area has a variety of saunas and offer other services that make the experience rich and relaxing.

Good gym Frank works in customer services he smiles alot and is helpful. The caretaker is a cool guy always smiling and saying hello. Sauna is nice and Olga the romanian lady is very helpful she offers great deep tissue massage. Andre i think is the name of the guy he is cool and manages the team at reception very professional. Since they put Andre in charge. The customer reception staff are more organized. Before this they were a confused bunch of people :). Also they got rid of some of the lazy people which is good. I left the gym because i was sent on a special mission outside the netherlands. Now i have returned after 2 months and will contact Frank to rejoin. Hope Frank remembers me.

Top quality sports temple. Take one of the oldest classical baths of The Hague in a beautiful mansion in the centre of town, add a luxurious fitness, bar, sauna, wellness and massage centre, and name it Caesar. High end wellness for those that appreciate personal attention in a top notch environment. Multiple trainers on site, at all times.

Nice place, where you can go to the gym (very good equipment), you can go to many group lessons, rest in saunas, use an infrared lamps, swim in impressive swimming pool. Too bad that "big jacuzzi" is not working all the time but they make pause what is annoying🙄 you can't choose if you want cold or hot water under the shower, strange... and I was feeling sorry for lady in reception, she was alone and a lot of people waiting for help. Get some help for her!

  • 5/5 Chris H. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice upscale spa resort close to the centre of The Hague. It's small but offers plenty of options, including swimming pool, footbaths, a choice of saunas and a whirlpool. Not cheap but that's good as it keeps the riffraff out!

Got a voucher for a 1 time entry. Came all the way from another city on a Sunday afternoon to spend the day at the gym and spa. The lady at the front told me that I'm obligated to show an ID and was totally unfriendly about it. I explained that i didn't bring my wallet so i don't have my ID with it. She said this is a strict rule from them. If it's such a strict rule, I'd assume it should have been stated on the voucher, but it wasn't. Unfortunately the coldness of this place is not news to me as i know it from other members of the place.
