Next to a Tim's, perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. The restaurant was an actually good restaurant, expensive but huge portions. Very nice ambiance, amazing staff and service. Easily one of the best Hotels I've ever stayed at including more expensive options.

Tried to rent a room, the concierge only offered a $450 room. We needed it for 2 days and I did not understand is was $450 a night... we booked and then I was made aware of the cost by my wife. I went back in and canceled immediately. The concierge did not want to refund, but he eventually did. My misunderstanding, I appreciate that he understood. The lobby looked great, no clue about the rooms.

Considering it’s a best western, I must say, I am not overly impressed by this hotel. Especially for a newer hotel, we found it lacking of basic essentials. The bathrooms don’t have fans, the windows don’t open, key cards deactivate multiple times throughout your stay, there’s no hot tub and the pool and workout rooms are small. The elevators often were out of service and the one stairwell was not accessible to the main floor, so convenience was not at a top. The staff are nice, especially at the breakfast, hence the extra star, but overall the experience hasn’t been very hospitable. Hopefully the rest of the stay will increase my satisfaction, and I’ll be happy to re-evaluate this review.

Awesome hotel! Very modern, great amenities and excellent fresh to order breakfast options. They were setting up a beautiful conference room for an event, and my only complaint was that I wasn't invited ;). Pool was warm and not busy which suited my 8 year old nicely. Will be back!

Our group recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Northwood Hotel in Timmins and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From booking and the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and accommodating. They truly set a high bar for our expectations on our next hotel stay. I want to give a special mention to Cauline and Lori from admin, as well as Nick from the bar. These three individuals went above and beyond any expectations to ensure that we were taken care of during our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. I was very pleased with my stay at Best Western Premier Northwood in Timmins. The hotel is new with modern decor. Rooms are well-appointed. Customer service was excellent and of a refined level I have not experienced at other area hotels.

This new(ish) hotel is a gem. Located in a quieter area off the highway, it is full service with a restaurant on site. Breakfast is free with many items including made to order omelettes. The rooms were clean and the bed, very comfortable.

I have stayed at many hotels, this one was clean. Has a restaurant build in with a bar. Complementary breakfast that had an actual kitchen staff making fresh omelettes with decent hash browns plus the regulars you would see at a hotel. As an added bonus, a Tim Hortons is in the same parking lot. For a northern hotel, this one was amazing. As nice as some hotels I have stayed in while in Toronto.

Very clean hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Everything you need. There is a Tim’s in the plaza. Uber eats not too many options. They serve complementary breakfast and it’s really good. Lots of options Highly recommend staying here.

Always my first choice when staying in Timmins. Hotel is right beside a Tim Hortons, plenty of parking and 5 mins from the airport. Rooms are clean and very comfortable bedding. Highly recommend staying here.

This hotel has easily been one of the best that I've stayed at including at other Best Westerns. Everything is bright, spacious, modern and clean. Their daily breakfast also has exceeded my expectations with the two friendly staff on-site who are there to prepare your eggs in whichever way that you'd like. Their restaurant and bar area has a cozy little feel with excellent staff as well. No shortcuts are taken by this establishment.

We were there for a birthday celebration in one of the meeting rooms. There is ample parking. The person at the front desk greeted us and showed us the way. The room was bright, clean and nicely set up. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was very good. Overall, a wonderful experience!

This hotel is great: great rooms, great facilities and service. Rooms are spacious and bed is very comfortable. The hotel has a no noise policy as of 10 pm which is respected. They serve breakfast every morning that includes a freshly made omelette and they even offer you a specialty coffee! The staff in the breakfast area is the best! Thank you for a wonderful stay! 🤩🤩

Check in was easy and quick. Wow factors everywhere- the lobby, the lounge, the room was fantastic! Super clean and great service during the breakfast. Loved our stay!

Our family had a really pleasant stay at this hotel for 4 nights. This hotel is run like a family business and their service shows it. Location: less than 10 minutes from the airport; which worked out quite convenient for us. There's a Tim Hortons in the same parking lot for a less expensive or late night dinner. Rooms: We had two rooms and they were large and comfortable. The second floor room faced the busy road and could be a bit noisy for light sleepers. We moved to a 6th floor room which made a world of difference. The staff was quite helpful with our request for the move. No Carpets! Although this is fabulous, the one time that I went bare-feet, it felt dirty. Walk-in showers were nice! Room Service: Due to staffing shortages our rooms were not cleaned on the last day, and we get that! Staffing issues could be seen even during breakfast because the GM was on the floor making expressos and helping out most mornings. Whilst this can be a good personal touch, it could also be frustrating. Breakfast: The best experience in a long time! Christine/Nora/Linda are an asset to this organization. Personally, we loved the freshly made and "served" eggs, bacon or sausages and juice. Great business model, serving of food with a smile, not only is great customer service, imo, also lessens wastage of food. Overall, a great experience in the true North!

I've been very happy every time I stay, the breakfast is good and served by very friendly staff, the front desk people and cleaning staff have always been friendly and helpful. Thanks to the staff and management, you made my stays in Timmins more enjoyable.

From the moment I contacted the Best Western Northwood in Timmins to reserve a block of rooms for our hockey team I was impressed. The manager Cauline was a wonder to work with, very attentive to our needs and extremely personable.The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Front of house staff were professional and fun! Food and service was great! We will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel with beautiful amenities. Very clean and modern rooms. Staff is lovely. Shout out to Nicholas that bartended and served the restaurant on Thursday night. I heard they were short staffed; however, I could not notice due to the excellent service from Nicholas. Going to dinner tonight there again!

We had a wonderful two nights stay! Couldn’t ask for better service especially Linda who went out of her way to make us cappuccino’s every morning. The hardest working lady I’ve seen in a while. Give that girl a raise because she’s a keeper.

Everything is clean, the furniture is modern, my room came with those squishy thick soft robes and it's one of those little extras that make the stay lovely. Check in was easy, staff is friendly, tons of parking The mattress is quite firm with a pillow top, I slept like a baby. Shampoo/conditioner was black tea and fig and smells SO GOOD. Shower pressure was adequate but not amazing. You can't set a sleep timer or adjust the brightness on the TV which is typically my go-to for sleeping, but that's a pretty tiny issue.
