Terrible, very bad experience, starting with receptionist. Not professional and rude. The bathroom not clean with broken sink The view from balcony is blocked with huge concrete . Very disappointed We pay the price for a five star hotel that doesn’t deserve .

Amazing hotel, the view from my room was stunning, room service meals were beautiful, breakfast was great and there always seems to be a spare table no matter what time I went, and one morning I slept in and missed the cleaners but they came back later to clean my room. I also enjoyed the casino; great atmosphere. The spa had amazing facilities but the floor was like black ice when wet and I slipped over, they definitely used the worst possible flooring for a spa. The only other things letting down the hotel are the lack of ‘Albanian’ feel - I’d say it’s probably not for tourists wanting to explore and get a feel for Albania, the ground level bar never seemed to be staffed, the receptionists are miserable and blunt and I couldn’t wear white socks or be barefoot in my room due to the floor being so mucky - I saw the cleaner thoroughly mopping my floor but I suspect it was with already mucky water - she may want to change her mop bucket water more regularly. I’ll be back but hopefully I don’t get either of the female receptions who checked me in and out.

Maritim Plaza is the best hotel in Tirana. Located in the center of the city, next to the Skanderbeg square and minutes away from all other interesting places in the city. It has spacious rooms with elegant and modern design, many of them with a nice view of the city. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. I highly suggest visiting the bar at the top floor to enjoy your drink with a fantastic view of Tirana. The only reason I didn’t gave 5 stars is that internet connection was slow, only allowing checking emails and light browsing, not suitable for business customers like me

Lovely place, centre of the city.. Staff were very nice and friendly.. Easy to approach.. Day we went the next morning the prime minister of Albania was holding a conference.. That tallies up how good and safe the hotel is..🫶

Nice hotel with very nice view and very clean. All staff are super friendly and helpful. They have problems with elevators which make you to wait for very long time and you just track how they pass your floor. View Bar is very cozy in the evening. SPA area is nice, I enjoyed shocking showers;) but very small with no swimming pool. My stay there was wonderful overall as it is convinient place to go out to many places around.

Really dissapointed with elevator seevice in the hotel! Came here every weekend for the last 2 months just to enjoy the party in the 23rd floor but the service is terrible! Was forced to run down from the 23rd floor to the reception just to discuss the issue but it didn’t even come into consideration. Have 4 rooms this weekend but no one from the staff cares and they treat us same as other visitors who are not even staying in the hotel. Really dissapointed with this terrible service!

Easily the best hotel in the whole of Tirana, probably the whole of Albania… absolutely world class with an almost flawless experience from start to finish… The location is fantastic for visiting the city, being just off the main Skanderbeg Square and in the centre of town. Incredible location also if you are coming from or going to the airport, as the shuttle bus drops you off and starts its journey from right opposite the hotel. Literally about a 20 second walk from the front door. As this is the by far the cheapest and probably easiest way of getting to/from the airport it makes this hotel a really attractive option. Check in can be a little slow but the staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and tastefully designed with amazing bathrooms. Water pressure could be a little better but is more than acceptable and the facilities in the bathroom and the room in general are great. Large smart TV, plenty of sockets, comfy bed with lots of pillows and if you are on a high floor, a spectacular view over the city! The breakfast served on the second floor is well worth the price with a good number of options, from many different types of eggs, sausages and bacon etc, as well as loads of various croissants, pastries and breads… fruit, cheeses, cereals and yoghurt selection is amazing and there is also freshly squeezed orange juice. The restaurant itself is also nicely designed with a few comfy booths to sit in. I’m also a fan of how late they serve breakfast, as it’s from 7am-11am, so you don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to enjoy it! The absolute highlight of this hotel however is the Oblivion Spa… located on the 5th floor its free for hotel guests, the staff at reception will happily show you around if you haven’t been before. Changing rooms with showers, as well as smaller lockers for your phone that’s closer to the actual spa facilities. Plenty of comfy chairs to sit and relax with hot and cold drinks facilities. There is Finnish Sauna that gets hot enough to make its name proud, a lovely steam room and a slightly less intense Mediterranean room. The jacuzzi bath at the end is also lovely to relax in. Absolutely worth spending a few relaxing hours after a long day of sightseeing inside! All in all this is the only logical choice of hotel in Tirana, it ticks every box and for what it offers, does it perfectly. Fantastic rooms, amazing breakfast and stunning spa, all with an absolutely unbeatable location! I have been many times and will continue to come back whenever I next need to be in Albania!

There was a teen working at the underground parking. He was responsible for taking the money after you leave the hotel. He was smoking in the cabin and playing rap music not suitable for anyone to hear, especially my kids... Not the taste I wanted to have from my stay

We staid in Plaza Hotel in Tirana for few days for a wedding reception that was happening in the hotel. The team is nice and welcoming, the breakfast is really good with lot of choices, the spa is ideal for a relaxing moment. The room and the hotel are beautiful and you feel good there. The location is great in Tirana city centre. You can see the hotel from far so you can't get lost if you decided to go for a walk around. The wedding reception organized in the hotel was really beautiful. The dinner and the service were really good. And we had all such a great moment. We had a really good experience in Tirana Plaza Hotel and I warmly recommand to stay there when you are coming to Tirana. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel is AMAZING! Inside and outside, a real gem! The people at the reception are really helpful and nice, the house keeping are one of a kind - the best people I ever met in my life, the spa personnel happy and calm - just as you would expect them to be! I was for a week at the Plaza Hotel. But, on 10.10.2021 at 03:00 in the morning the fire alarm started and we left the room on the 15th floor. When I got down to the reception table, almost all the guests had gotten off. Smoke had engulfed the hotel. We asked for clarification of what was going on and their response was "Someone lit a cigarette in the room, and now everything is fine." I asked for clarifications and again the same answer. But the police came and started interrogating the two waiting employees, but they also did not cooperate properly with the police. But it should be noted that the police have acted. Loud music was heard at the time. police responded by imposing fines for non-compliance with anti-covid measures. The staff in question prioritizes their business over the lives of the guests who were there. They told guests "okay don't worry because it was a cigarette alarm, and you can go back to the room". Many guests left the hotel, we were all traumatized, stressed, and from the hotel staff again the trend was material ojesa than the guest, also their lie continued the same. Guests were fleeing this fragile hotel. I also asked for clarification from the police and then from the hotel staff I was informed that there was a fire because there was a wedding on the 3rd floor. We stayed about two hours on the 1st floor and lastaj returned to the rooms. The fire had engulfed a hall on the 3rd floor and smoke had engulfed the entire hotel, and staff were looking at how to trick guests into staying there, but not caring about our lives or the danger was permanent. We are disappointed with this occasion, and with the lack of care of the staff at the plaza hotel. We left the hotel traumatized, and I never want to hear about this hotel again. My message is "Do not visit this hotel, your life is in constant danger, they do not offer you any help, they lie to you if you ask for clarification, they are fraudsters, the hotel is already their advertisement, money is more valuable than life Human's ". I have a video dated 10.10.2021 and I will address it to the legal authorities. The managerial practice from Hotel Plaza was not known to the media and no one cared about his life. DO NOT visit, staying at this hotel is safe. Take care for your self, hotel plaza is just one fake hotel with a bouncer staf.

I'm only giving it the star because of the cleaning lady who was really nice to me during my stay. The staff at the reception was really arrogant and made my stay at the hotel unbearable. Will not visit again , the visuals of the hotel don't excuse the staffs behaviour. Would rather book at Boka or Loti hotel which are around the same area.

We stayed on the 21 st floor which had amazing views. The breakfast at the hotel was great - good selection of options and fresh orange juice. I found the male servers were less were less attentive and we had to go out of our way to get their attention so I feel service could be improved here. The female servers were very attentive. The spa was great and wasn’t busy during our stay so we had it to ourselves. Staff at the spa were very friendly and showed us around. Location is great - doesn’t get much better. There aren’t many hotels in Albania that have a well deserved 5 star rating but I’m happy to say this one did. Highly recommended.

This is not a five star hotel anymore. When we checked in then man in the reception was very unfocused and talked to everyone else. He even by mistake gave my passport to another friend who came to talk to him while working. Checkout was different when a very friendly girl helped us. We had quite heavy luggage , but no one helped us. That would be ok at a simple hotel but not a five star hotel. Rooms are fine but not excellent. The hotel is quite ugly. Just straight lines and concrete, no details and beauty. It was maybe fancy ten years ago but is has not aged well. Outside of the hotel is just terrazzo slabs and looks very very tacky. Reception is very simple. Fortunately the rooms look better.

Clean room, perfect view, great location. It was my third time in this hotel and it's kind of luxury city break. 23rd floor bar is nice. At -1 you can visit Grand Casino where you can enter free, with drink voucher and 12 € bonus if you are hotel guest. Safe and friendly staff.

This is the best hotel in Tirana hands down. It’s lovely and the service is great. The staff is super friendly especially Cristella at the front desk. She greeted us with a smile every single time and was extremely helpful. It was so good that after we went to other cities in Albania we came back to spend our last night here.

The spa deep tissue massage is very good, but the price is very high. Bed is so very comfortable!! Recommended !

Consistently good business hotel in a central location, free underground parking in a spacious car park is very handy (enter first, then validate ticket). Spacious rooms, good breakfast, good wifi, windows can be open. In winter, the air in the rooms can get very dry (20-30% humidity).

It is a 5-star hotel with large and welcoming rooms and offers all the services you would expect from such a hotel, spa and wellness center, fitness area, a nice restaurant with a view, etc... the staff was nice and helpful. It deserves the 5 stars.

Best hotel in Albania. Location is great. Rooms are so modern, just curious, why was the building designed with the blocks outside the windows? It obstructs the entire view from within the room and you have only a small crack. I really wish we had a more clear view of Tirana. The city is beautiful. Also, no irons for clothing and no one helps with bringing the luggages from the garage. I think that was a take back for a high-end hotel. Service should be better.

Overall a Nice stay, Obviously it is the Best hotel in Tirana. Location is ideal as it is near the main square. A shopping mall is just across the street. Room is built very well and overall Hotel is Perfect. Service needs improvement, I felt that the lady at reception during check in was not welcoming and accommodating. However at checkout she was in a good mood.

It’s a great hotel, but they don’t know the meaning of do not disturb at all they will disturb you, even though you have the button pressed and the card hanging on the door and still they will knock and disturb you lol

Didn’t expect such a hotel in Tirana to be honest. Breathtaking view from the very very spacious room. The interior design is great and all amenities you would expect from the top hotel in a capital. The staff was very professional, friendly and subtle at the same time. Would stay here again every time.

We booked 2 rooms the same room type, "Business" type (as stated in Agoda) of room for 180 euro per room, I remembered in Agoda it showed this room type was with a double bed, and we also stated in the Agoda we wanted to have high floor and 1 LARGE bed. When we arrived and checked in, the bed was 2 single beds so I went down to request for change. The other friend’s room also the same, so they called the reception from their room to ask for room change. (they did not go down) At reception I have asked how much do I need to pay if I want to change to double bed room, they said no room available. Then later they changed for my friend to 1 double bed room without any charge. So, I felt unfair then I requested the same but they said my friend call earlier than me before I went to reception and my friend entitle to get change because there was only 1 room left, 1st come 1st serve. When I was at reception, I saw and heard they just received the call from my friend how can I be later than my friend? Then the reception asked me to deal with my friend whether my friend want to change with me!? The reception was a lady and the another reception that handled my friend was a guy, I don’t know their names. They were very rude to me. They acted like I can't pay to upgrade my room. Initially When I asked how much I need to pay they said no room, after they changed my friend’s room, they told me I have to pay if I want to change. They showed me their bloody RUDE face seems like I can't pay to upgrade the room A 5 stars hotel’s receptionist should be a polite and helpful to his/her customers instead of showed the RUDE face and voice up with customer. The guy even raised his voice to me and asked “so now, what you want me to do, since we have no room to change for you?” Is this the way that he should treated his customers? At the end I paid additional 102 Euro again to upgrade my room to room #1502 which is huge and with nice view . I was unsatisfied since I paid so much but I did not complaint at that time because I was too tired. The water shower in the bathroom was slightly leaked too!

The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are as well. The casino is located inside the hotel, at the rooftop you’ll find a bar with 360 views of the city, the spa is included with the room and it has 24/7 gym for those who like to exercise when in holidays. The location is in the heart of downtown. Smoking rooms available, however I would not recommend it as there is not much ventilation.

No Roomservice at Night! We was dying fpr Water after our Show and they really told us in a weird tone that the Roomservice is closed, but we just need water! Its a 5 star hotel! Never happened to me! - No Pool - no smoking terrace ( you need to go for every cigarette to the main entrance) The other things are all 5 star worthy.

Best experience ever. We didn't have the possibility to interact with many people there and can't say anything about, but the experience, hygiene, breakfast and the view of the city was incredible.

We always stay here as its the best in terms of location, price, and service. Having been both a tourist and local and different stages, there is no better option with walking distance to everything Tirane and panoramic views of the city from all rooms. The reception team is top notch in service and personality, we specifically prefer Olta, she is personal favorite and the best!

Everything was perfect except one receptionist on the check out time she was asking me to show her my Visa card way in unprofessional attitude, while I have paid the first tow nights by Apple Pay without showing my Visa card

There was no bar in the evening. Only one on the 23rd floor where you had to pay 5000 lek (45 €) and therefore does not cost inside because it was full. for a 5 star hotel is unacceptable.

AVOID Will discriminate with no apparent reason. We were a party of 3 girls and 2.boys. Reception confirmed there are available bookings. The security did not allow us in without rationale explanation. We just left for the next bar very disappointed about this "5star" experience Avoid

Best hotel on our multi-country trip! Check-in was a breeze. We arrived around 8 o'clock and had room service. It arrived promptly and was good. The room was also the largest room on our trip with a great view. The shower was great, great water pressure. I always find showers to be disappointing in Europe, but this one definitely was not. This hotel truly had all the luxuries and amenities one could want. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating of any requests. The location was great! A short walk to all the sights and an even shorter walk to shopping! The only feedback I have is that we did book massages and they were okay but not great, I would recommend skipping out on it. Overall, great hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for a honeymoon!

I stayed at the Plaza hotel for few nights. The hotel location was great close to city center and few steps away from busy shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary for the stay. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast was great and we had a great a time. Perfect location for the main city centre and attractions. The spa is brilliant - it has various saunas, a jacuzzi and different tropical showers. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and spacious. I’d highly recommend it. While in town, eat at Oda which is very nearby!

By far the best hotel in Tirana. Excellent location, very nice rooms and very friendly staff. We were there for a wedding which was fantastic. Every detail was thought through! I also recommend the spa which was great the next morning!

Great location right downtown. Parking is underground off George W Bush, and the hotel is located on the north side of the street (google doesn’t tell you which side). Hotel is nice and clean and secure. You need a room key from the lobby to get upstairs to the rooms. Room was beautiful and had a great view. Great spa facilities!! Only downside was on the 21st floor between 9pm-11pm we could hear very loud music from outside.

A truly five star experience! The room was comfortable, with beautiful views and everything you could need provided. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the free spa for guests was a nice perk.
