This will be my first visit. I've been wanting to visit for a long time, but I couldn't get into the observation deck because it had been undergoing repair work for a long time. The construction had just recently finished and the observation deck was now open for use, so I decided to visit. It's not as good as Sky Hall, but if you climb up the many stairs you can see a spectacular view. The fence is low and it's a little scary when you look down 😅 2024.2/10 and 2/11 will be specially opened, so you can enter from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm😄 It looks like you can see sunrises and sunsets that you can't usually see.

It had just been renovated and the paint job was neat. The toilet was also made of wood and I was impressed. You can see many things from the top. 2023/12/26

2024.3 It's been a while since I visited. It's a good spot to take a break while walking. The plaza is spacious, so it's perfect for relaxing on sunny days.

You can enter the observation tower from 9:00 to 16:30 (in winter from November to February until 16:00) ⬆Even if it's a little later in the summer... There are security cameras everywhere, probably because there is a lot of illegal dumping. Take your trash home!

The cherry blossoms were blooming a little, and it's been a while since I've been there, so the athletics were also beautiful.

There is a store stand in the park, and you can see the Tachikawa area and the Okutama mountains.

This was a nice place to visit and a good view point. The Cherry 🍒 Blossoms were peaking and it’s a good place for a picnic 🧺

Rokudouyama (6 roads mountain) is a good place for a weekend trek. There are a number of easy trails to follow. Visit the Sayama Minka, the thatched food house on the west side at the bottom of the hill. Try your hand at Japanese style stilt walking while there. Let the kids burn off some energy at the sports area. Take a picnic and relax in the forest. There are several free parking areas and public transportation drops you off in the park.

Beautiful park and a great lookout. I always come here at least once on my trips to Japan. Bring your lunch, hang out and enjoy the scenery. Many times you will catch military planes overhead from nearby Yokota Airbase. I saw some doing parachute practice once. Also, this is the town that the Clannad anime is based on. So while you’re here, search up some real life locations from the anime. Overall wonderful park, friendly people and It’s always clean. Spend some time bird watching on the observatory. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance and Tokyo city to the east.

I went to Rokudoyama Park for the first time. There's such a wonderful place... It's spacious and I thought it was great for walking, cycling, and music events. Listening and I would definitely like to go again.

The view from the observation deck was great! But it was cloudy so I couldn't go far. I couldn't see it😢 I'll be happy if it's sunny next time I go.
