Unsure if we caught the bar manager on a bad night but she flagged us for asking for a specific drink. Guinness she poured me initially was absolutely botched, didn't let it sit long enough between pours. The place is otherwise great but leaving my low rating for now. If/when I try again in the future I will change accordingly.

So I live in the neighborhood here of McIntyres for 5 years. The food is better than other nearby places.I stay away because of the mostly bad attitudes of the barmaids. Across the board they are rude. Went there tonight and it’s still the same but even worse. Part of your job is being at least polite. Get on your staff and tell them how to treat people, and trust me, I’m always quiet and respectful.

This restaurant has very recently changed ownership and I was excited to try their new menu. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in some of their changes and said so on their Facebook page as feedback. Instead of engaging me and accepting the feedback, they blocked me. I was hoping to try again since I loved going there before, but I guess this is how the new management operates. Luckily, there are plenty of other restaurants and bars in TR to visit.

We went to McIntyre’s Pub on Trivia night and had a great time! We ordered the buffalo cauliflower (special), hot honey chicken sandwich (special),and the shepherds pie. Everything was perfect. We can’t wait to have the buffalo cauliflower again!

Great foodie spot. Tons of craft on draft. Large selection of top shelf whiskey. Awesome TV’s for sports and they do all kinds of game nights like trivia / music bingo along with live music!

Don't expect to have a conversation at normal conversation level. This place is loud (customers and background music). Service was a bit slow, but not horribly slow and there may have been understaffed as I didn't see anyone else taking orders outside of the bar. The drinks were good and the food was just ok. The burger appeared and tasted like the standard frozen hockey puck. It was ordered medium rare and came medium well. The buffalo chicken wrap was dry. I ordered it without blue cheese, but didn't expect a lack of buffalo sauce. House-made kettle chips came with both, which was a surprise as we expected fries, which were likely a better option. Not sure we will be back at this point. It could have been an off night, so you never know.

The Irish breakfast and farmhouse club were delish! Our waitress was great too. Always wanted to try this place, and I'll definitely come back! Prices were reasonable too!

Omg the NY strip was cooked to perfection. I’m not a fan of fat this had none. Perfect for me. This was so good I had to review this now while I’m eating. Great service. Great drinks great food. Done. Update. Steak is still amazing a year later and everything from wings to pizza and steak quesadillas are amazing

Last time I was at McIntyre's they were in a different location. So this was our first time and it was very good. I enjoyed my sandwich and my bf enjoyed his pizza. There are some improvements being made so the bathrooms we used were a bit under construction, and there were some bare walls but it didn't take away from the service or food at all. Will definitely be back.

Wow. I’ve driven past this place for years and never came in until today. This place is awesome . The muscles were amazing. Awesome atmosphere. Great people.

Hands down, the best espresso martini in Toms River. Bartenders treat you like you're old friends. Makes you want to live up to the feeling they give you of being a regular!

Great atmosphere and wait staff. Sat with friends after our meal and the server didn't bother us. She was on top of everything and gave us room to breathe. 100% appreciated. I also appreciate live music is kept on solid, advertised days. My wife isn't great with loud music in bars so it was nice to see the live music days advertised so clearly. Thank you.

After being a loyal customer for over five years, I've noticed a decline in quality since the change in ownership. On my last two visits, the table service was subpar, with prolonged wait times of over 30 minutes for food that arrived incorrectly and below the usual standards. Even after sending an order back, it was still prepared incorrectly. I had to request compensation and was offered a 10% discount due to dissatisfaction, as I ended up eating less than half of the meal. While the bartenders remain decent, these experiences have left me with no plans to return anytime soon.

Great St Pat's party and delicious food!!! Irish and excellent. As of last night 5/24, the owners have retired and it will be under ownership. Had a blast last night closing it down with all the friends and regs of the bar!! We will see what the future holds for that establishment now

My family and I decided to go to a last minute bar and we felt very unwelcome. I’m not sure if it’s because of our ethnic background, I don’t want to make any assumptions but as a person who worked as a waitress I think the level of professionalism is not up to par.

Food was great, but our waitress kept trying to get us out which was very obvious, we were a table of 6, all ordered 2 drinks and we ordered a lot of food! It's not like it wasn't a high bill or that we weren't going to tip her! And it's not like the place was packed or she was getting slammed. She didn't give us the best experience, won't go back!

Haven’t been here since it moved from the Kmart plaza location. First thing bartender says is someone will get to you eventually. Wasn’t sure if she was trying to be funny or serious as it didn’t seem real busy. For an Irish pub, there wasn’t much Irish food being offered, I had a cheeseburger with French fries. Nothing special. Probably won’t be back.

The food was very good & a reasonable price. I do have one complaint and it pertains to their TV choices. They have various sports channels up there but I had the misfortune to sit right in front of Fox 5. There was no other news up there to choose from. I had to sit there & look at uncomplimentary pictures of our president & hear how he was responsible for inflation, gas prices & the war in Ukraine. When I left there I was angry because I don't agree with any of that & find it offensive. Fox 5 broadcasts nothing but hatred division & lies.

Had a good time. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Singer was very good and wasn't too loud. We were actually able to have a conversation without repeating our selves. Definitely will return.

Clean,nice friendly staff. Nice menu and open after 10pm and serving. It's more of a sports bar/ blue collar crowd. Had the Ruben and calamari both were very tasty.

Great Irish pub nestled in Toms River easily accessible. The bar is huge and there's plenty of seating. Beer specials will knock your socks off I didn't think it was possible to get a Bud for less than $3 In this area any more. Menu is big and they always have rotating specials but it's hard not to go to the Irish classics. The Celtic Cuban is delicious and piled high with juicy corned beef. Ruben is open faced and super hearty. Apps are great try the tots. Frequent stop when I'm in the area

Great food, good price, great environment, great staff. Had the california burger add bacon and wife had shepherds pie.

Went with my coworkers. Played a couple rounds of darts and there was a dj that night. Drink prices were average and they had a heated smoking section so you aren't outside in the cold. Cool place to hang. Had a great time!
