it is a small zoo full of wild monkeys so need to be careful. Do not stare at them otherwise they might attack you. Don't run and don't play with monkeys. However, it is a good experience for everyone. Also, they didn't advertise it but they have the best view points in the whole island.

For those with kids. It’s about a 5-10 mins walk to the kingdom. There’s also a cabin to feed the monkeys safely. The staff are very aware of the monkey’s behaviors and give advice to visitors accordingly to prevent incidents. For those with better endurance. Walk 20 mins to the top of the mountain for some mind bending views of the area.

I recommend to go all the way up the hill to have great way around Shodoshima.

Fun place to hang out with the monkeys. There is a animal caretaker, which is very sweet and showed us around and how to feed the monkeys. Very unique experience.

Highly recommend, Saru interactions everywhere :) Please make effort to climb/walk to observation viewpoint too, it is one of best views on island
