My 18 month old daughter and I attended a drop in class today to see what the space and staff are like before deciding to sign up for a full class. The space was nice but it was very hot inside the trampoline room. The staff was mostly speaking with each other and did not take the time to ask any basic questions or to find out my daughter’s name. This helped me make up my mind that we will not be returning here in the future. EDIT to reply to the owner: I know what I signed up for. What I’m saying is your staff could at least say hi and try to be welcoming to someone who is new to the space. I am not claiming to post a review for your entire business… just my experience with your business which is what these reviews are meant for. Unfortunately, I won’t get a chance to get to know your business as a whole because no one bothered to take a minute to make me or my daughter feel welcome. Also, we didn’t go in the foam pit. Your air conditioning was not working. Plain and simple. If you have any additional questions for me, you have my contact information and feel free to reach out at any time.

My kids love the facilities and the “free play” approach but it seems like more of a play gym than a place to learn gymnastics. We’ve been there for camps as well as weekly classes and the kids don’t come away with any new skills. Camps are good because they have different activities every day. Kids were happy and full of candy at the end of the day. Administratively, this is the worst place I’ve ever encountered.. Everything is very disorganized and nothing is computerized. Parents have to pay in person which is quite inconvenient if you don’t live nearby. Also, I was told credit cards are not allowed. Their hand written receipts are sus. Further to these annoyances, the staff couldn’t find any of my previous waivers (disorganized) and instead of taking responsibility for their disorganization, they continued to insist that I had never filled them out (when I distinctly had for both the summer camp and the previous spring session that were both within the same calendar year). I wish my kids didn’t like this place because I hate dealing with them. But alas, I’ll give two stars for their happiness.

Would not recommend taking classes here with small children. We took kindergym at the same time as parent and tot. While it initially seems convenient if you have 2 kids these ages the parent and tot class ends 15 min before the kindergym class and they will not let you stay in the gym during the last 15 min. The other issue is the parent and tot class is basically completely free time aside from one group song and 5 min parachute time. We have done classes other places where they took the time to setup obstacle courses and do actual activities with the preschoolers. There are also a lot of very specific rules about where you put your shoes and what socks to wear even for the preschool program that has no structure. While the facility is huge, the cost is extremely high as well for what you get.

We had my daughters bday. Place is ok size wise but very dirty lights Don’t work very dark in the party rooms. Staffs are horrible a specially the girl At the front she is soo mean. I asked if we can get extra chair cause it was missing one she didn’t bring then I went again she was getting mad at me. She was keep giving us a attitude if we ask her questions like where are the plates cause they told us they were providing everything but it wasn’t there. I wouldn’t go back again. Thanks for wasting my money.

As a mother of a 7 years old boy, I am extremally disappointed in the Spartan Gymnastics. Mainly because of a coach that was assigned to my boy's pre-competitive group. Her name was Victoria. Not only she was cold, rude, with poor social skills, but a very indifferent gymnastics coach. My boy was a member there for 1 year. During this time she completely ignored him, didn't help him and never challenge him. He was so eager to try varies exercises, be part of the team, but she would push him aside, let him be on his own in the gym corner. When I tried to talk to her, she would avoid meeting me, pretend to be busy. The administration brushed off my complains and was not helpful. The following year, I moved him to another club. When he was tested for his abilities - he scored very low, like he never did gymnastics at all. What a waste of my time and money. My boy is thriving now in another club.

The gym facility itself is impressive and the kids get so excited seeing it. But what I have is absolutely shocking. This place is 100% about money and not child experience. The place is completely over run with wild, disobedient children who's parents use the facility as a day to day babysitting service (and these kids rule the gym). We haven't participated in a single class where my son was not hit, pushed or bullied by another child. When I confronted the staff about my concerns they would say "yes we know that child is disruptive, however they are a repeat /daily customer. And for me that's when it clicked THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY. When I went to the front desk about my concerns about my son's safety (he was heavily crying in my arms at the time and too scared to return back to his program) they responded with "leave us an email" while absolutely refusing to deal with or acknowledge the situation at the time. It took a week and 3 phones calls (from me) for them to respond to my email about my son and our concerns. There response was simply disgusting. Unapologetic and strictly concerned about how much money they get to keep. No I'm sorry for these terrible experiences, nothing. Honestly there were no f's given. My son will never be returning here !!! the company's greed is shameful and the children are simply not prioritized or kept safe.

Was planning on registering my daughter here; however, after reading the owners responses to reviews of unhappy customers, I’ve decided to take my money elsewhere. How is this place still getting paying customers?! Update: The response below just proves my point. The reviews for inside service are terrible, the owners responses are terrible...so now I will also share this throughout my various social media accounts to hopefully prevent someone else from wasting their money at this place. Why support an owner like this?

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience here. We showed up for our first class today and they let my daughter start before we had fully registered which I appreciated. After being told on the phone I’d be charged for the prorated classes (9 of the total 13), I was then told I’d also be charged $100 for the two kiddos annual registration fee. But that it only covers until the summer. So that means I pay $50/kid for 9 sessions, while others paid the same fee for a full year. Not sure why it’s not an annual fee that covers a year from when you start like other places I’ve been in the past. I was blamed for not reading the website when the info should have been shared on my initial phone call, they then said the next step if I didn’t register would be to charge for a drop in +$50 for the annual fee for my daughter’s one class, then they settled on just charging me for a drop in, then told not to pay at all. Ultimately I would have appreciated knowing all of the fees before schlepping both my kids and telling them they were starting classes. Clearly they are more concerned about money than experience. There are a lot of different ways this interaction could have gone. But ultimately it was uncomfortable and the customer service poor. I’ve never felt so trapped and blamed before. Oh well, Business elsewhere I suppose. Edited: the response from the owner is categorically untrue. No tantrum to speak of and definitely didn’t insist on a free class. And I absolutely took some accountability in person and in my review. It’s clear by looking at other responses that the owner consistently overreacts to reviews. As I said, oh well- lots of other places in town to spend my money. Buyer beware.

I was planning the birthday party for my child here but thankfully a fellow mom pointed out the issues and I read the reviews beforehand. The owner’s responses on the bad reviews are appalling. Instead of improving their services they are blindly accusing customers! No thank you.. I will have my party and give business to someone who understands what a customer is and what are their needs and have some compassion for children. You are in the business because of the children not because of your rude attitude

We took weekly classes over the summer for a toddler (3 year old) and an older child (6 year old). Pros : - Convenient location - Some great instructors - Great equipment in a nice open space area - Excellent place for birthday parties Cons : - One of my great disappointment: no curriculum for toddlers. There are no instructors for parent and tots classes so it is basically free playtime for parent/child. It seems to me it is quite expensive and not as valuable for the child (I am not a qualified instructor). - Not always the same instructor (different roaster during the summer?) so it is difficult to build a relationship Kid/Instructor - No follow up of progress or things to improve (I am not sure the instructors knew my child’s name) - Sign in system and scheduling not automated (my kid was noted as not here for several classes when she missed only 1) - Poor make-up class policy with unclear instructions on scheduling and booking. It is probably very tedious seeing as the scheduling/booking is made on paper and they didn’t know how many classes were missed or not

We really enjoyed our experience with these guys over winter camp. My son's quite shy and gets really nervous around new kids (specially if they're older), so imagine how pleased I was after he told me about his new friends he made, he's never been so excited to go back to camp.

My daughter has been going to Spartan since she was 2.5, and we just hosted her 5th birthday there on Saturday. This was her first real birthday party since Covid and it was amazing! We had a big group - 22 kids ages 3.5-6 years old - and the Spartan coaches did a great job wrangling them all. The super cool part was that there were probably 3-4 parties running at the gym at the same time, but you never interact with the other groups. All the party groups are staggered so that your group always has a private experience. It's very efficient. Thank you Spartan!!

Spartan has a really poor make-up policy for classes. Do not sign up for Mondays or weekend classes. They book classes on all holiday Mondays and long weekends. This spring session had 3 holidays (Easter, Victoria Day and Canada Day) that we can't attend, plus my child was sick with Covid 1 week. They only allow 2 make-up sessions, so will lose money on at least 2 classes, which are very expensive compared to other clubs in the area. They are very inflexible with their policy. Beware before signing up.

Had a birthday celebration here this past weekend and it was fantastic! The place is enormous with lots of fun activities for the kiddos. The coaches were super friendly and engaged really well with our preschoolers. The staff organizing, cleaning etc were also extremely nice and helpful. I was very worried about the bad reviews but so happy that we ended up choosing this place for our party. Solid 5 stars!

I wanted to book a birthday party. Was told the only way to book a party was to come in person at 2:30pm. Showed up on time, but no one was there. Another mom with her infant was there too and was told to come at 2:30pm. We both waited until 3pm and then left. Truly inconvenient and no apology for wasting our time.

I am very glad my brother takes classes there. The teacher is very good, behaves like teaching. The classes are conducted very nicely. I am proud that my brother is now skilled. I will recommend everyone to go to the gym without hesitation.

Both my 2 boys love this place, specially their new ninja wariror section when I take them for drop ins. Personally I love how friendly the coaches are with the kids during their classes, my boys really think of them as friends and it motivates them to practice more!

I have sent two of my daughters here for the kindergym and the girls 6-8 group. We did it for several sessions. It is a fun place like a play date for the kids. They don’t teach alot or gymnastics so don’t expect a gymnast after. We have done one birthday party which was super fun for the kids. We have done two weeks of camp, Halloween party and a pa day camp: my daughters want to keep going back. The admin is backwards as it takes a visit to get registered and seems disorganized but have never encountered anyone rude as the negative reviews so I am not sure what that is about.

This weekend I had my first Spartan party for my son (6), and I'll be returning soon for my youngest's birthday as well. All of the equipment in the gym and the activities scheduled are difficult enough for the kids to have a good time while breaking a sweat; a great birthday party if you ask me.

I'm very impressed with how well they handled such a big group of kids at the party we threw last weekend (we had 21 kids), I thought the experience at least a little bit stressful but all of the staff was incredibly graceful and fun with them, they know how to treat and entertain them

My daughter had been doing classes there for more than 2 years until we had some pretty awful experience there during the last summer camp. One day I was picking her up and her pants were all wet as she had peed herself. I asked her what happened and she told me that they were not allowed to go to the toilet without asking. I could not believe that this was possible within for-kids facility, so I did nothing at that day. Next day I gave her spare clothes, but when I was picking her up, I again found out that she had peed herself and was still wearing the wet clothes. She again told me that the coaches did not allow her to go to the bathroom without asking, she was trying to ask, but they were always busy and did not pay attention to her. Need to mention two things here. First, my daughter has absolutely never been peeing herself after she had learned how to use the bathroom few years ago. What happened was absolutely not normal for her. Second, she was very familiar with the facility, she had been going there for about two years already, the staff knew her well and they knew that she is always fine with using the bathroom. I addressed the situation to the front desk and they confirmed that yes, basically children are not allowed to go to the toilet without assistance. When I asked them why nobody cared that she was wearing wet pants for few hours and why nobody offered her any help to change her clothes, why nobody expressed any concerns about the kid they all know very well being obviously in distress for second day in a row, there basically was no answer. They expressed no sign of concern at all! Like rules are rules and your kid peeing herself is only her problem. In general I would say that the gym facility itself is good, most coaches seem nice and friendly, some coaches are good, but there are too many coaches, too many children and the system overall is to maximize the flow, which sometimes leads to loosing basic humane principles. Replying to the owner’s response: Unfortunately no, in my case nothing was done: your staff did not help my daughter to change the clothes, and I was not notified until I came to pick her up and saw the wet pants myself. And it happened not once, but two days in a row. I do not know why you say this, but unfortunately it is not true.
