The
show
and
meal
were
decent
as
expected
and
I
was
excited
to
support
an
organization
that
seems
to
be
doing
great
work
with
its
diverse
employees.
However
I
am
concerned
that
patrons
with
mobility
devices
are
not
being
properly
accommodated.
I
brought
my
mother,
who
uses
a
rollator,
to
your
show
on
Saturday.
I
had
written
in
the
ticket
that
she
needs
accessible
seating,
and
I
also
told
the
staff
when
we
arrived,
who
reassured
us
that
she
could
sit
in
the
front
row
of
the
show.
Well
at
the
end
of
the
meal
when
we
made
our
way
to
the
theatre,
the
front
rows
were
filled
with
adults
and
children.
The
staff
person
was
unable
or
unwilling
to
ask
them
to
vacate
for
those
using
mobility
devices.
Another
elderly
lady
had
to
climb
to
the
second
row
with
her
rollator.
As
we
were
a
party
of
3
there
were
no
3-seat
stretches
available
until
about
8
rows
up.
No
one
moved
to
help
and
the
staff
did
not
help,
so
we
were
left
pleading
with
another
customer
who
was
in
the
front
row.
Apparently
she
had
not
bought
the
meal
and
had
just
arrived
an
hour
ago
and
sat
in
the
theatre
reserving
the
seats
for
herself
and
her
young
children
and
family.
Finally
they
vacated
a
couple
seats
for
us
but
we
had
to
split
up
and
my
husband
spent
the
show
up
in
the
10th
row
himself
so
that
my
elderly
mother
didnβt
have
to
risk
breaking
a
bone
just
to
find
a
seat.
The
staff
just
told
me
there
was
nothing
they
could
do
if
the
other
patrons
didnβt
want
to
move.
I
was
absolutely
speechless.
Accessible
seats
should
be
reserved
for
those
who
need
them!!
It
was
a
humiliating
and
infuriating
experience.
This
is
a
theatre
for
people
with
disabilities,
and
it
says
online
that
the
theatre
is
wheelchair
accessible.
Apparently
it
is
only
accessible
if
you
race
to
beat
able-bodied
people
to
the
accessible
seats.
