Eighth Street Skate Park

Skateboard park

👍👍 Best skatepark in the area and even rivals those like dunbat and Christie park. It’s so big and spacious giving all skaters different ground variations including the bowl. It’s a sweet spot to just go and enjoy the day and skate. The local skaters also add a chill atmosphere to the place for everyon... People often mention park,

Always a lively and mixed crowd of older and youger skaters and scooter riders at various skill levels. We always felt at ease with how well everybody gets along respectfully even when it gets a little little crowded. Overall a nice sized park, great artwork and cool vibe. Happy to have this is in our extended neighbourhood. We come here often.

Great atmosphere and pretty well set up park. I take my kids there every couple weeks and the older kids can be very helpful & supportive which makes this park great.. nothing but good vibes 👍

This visit was for a dear family that lost their grandson, nephew, son at such a tender age due to gun violence, Jordon Carter. It became one of my most favorite times as I experienced what Community is about. Much love❤❤❤

Great skatepark to Rollerblade at. Decent flow and a variety of obstacles. An addition of lights would be nice :)

Please rename Eighth Street Skate Park to Jordon Carter Memorial Skatepark. Jordon was an integral part of the community and encouraged both skateboarding and scootering to all ages. He was taken too young but his spirit for skating will forever live on at eighth st. #LLJ

Took my grandsons and they loved it. Got some help from a couple of older boys who showed them some tricks. Overall a great experience and an awesome park with beautiful artistry.

great for all ages - most adults I've seen there are very friendly. No lighting, so you can't skate at night. but, the park is clean and well maintained by the city. When the bushes at the property border was being used by street people, city cut them down.
