The food at Thammada Thai Cuisine is as fantastic, fresh, and authentic as they come! I had the hot & sour soup, a secret menu pad gra prow, the ginger chicken, and an order of coconut rice, along with a Thai iced tea and a hibiscus iced tea. Everything was so flavourful and fragrant, and the portions were enough to leave me and my girlfriend super full with much food to spare (for yummy leftovers!). The service was also warm and friendly, and the food came quite quickly. Such a wonderful little neighbourhood gem. I’d recommend trying this place out if you’re a fan of Thai food. It will be your new favourite!

I would love to give them 10 stars if there was an option. First of all, shout out to Olwen for being so professional and caring to all the customers. He wanted to ensure that all the orders are correct from the beginning to the end. He asked if there are any food allergies and dietary for each dish that we order. He is super nice and friendly, always smiling which is a bonus point to me. Secondly, the food tasted amazing. To be honest, I have tried several Thai restaurants, but for me, this one has the Authentic Thai flavor for every single dish. Thirdly, the food portion is huge and it is meant for you to share. You can take a look at the pictures to reference down below. They do offer vegan/vegetarian options. So don't worry if you cannot eat meat/seafood. And finally, we felt welcomed when we first came in. Everyone was very friendly. I will comeback with my family and friends for sure.

Excellent food, just the way it was when I had gone to Thailand. We tried shrimp rolls and chicken satay for starters. The sauce with chicken satay was specially delicious. The green curry and rice was yummy. We had thought of ordering Pad Thai, but were told that it would be on the sweeter side and were suggested Pad Khi Mao instead. We ordered that and it turned out great.

This is the BEST Thai food we’ve ever had in the GTA! We tried this place out last night and have already come back for lunch today. We recommend ordering their fried fish, green curry, pad thai, and thai iced teas! Everything tasted incredible. Great portion sizes. Fresh ingredients. Owen, our server, made our day! She was so kind to gift us a birthday hat for my friend’s birthday. She was also super helpful in recommending a few dishes and explaining the ingredients. All the meats are halal. She truly is the sweetest server we’ve ever met! Overall, my new favourite spot for Thai food.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had in a very long time. The food was very authentic. Sophia and Owen were very friendly and accommodating to our needs! 10/10 you need to come down here. It's almost impossible to come here and not leave in a good mood! Don't forget to try jasmine green iced milk tea!

DELICIOUS FOOD. Amazing service!!! Our server was the kindest person I've ever had serve us + provided us with explanations and interesting background info during our time here - Their decor, name and food prep is so intentional. It's a local family owned shop that deserves so much more traffic!! If you're craving thai food, this is the place to try. Really reco the Khao Soi and Thai tea

This was an experience. First of, the best customer service. 5/5. *I apologize for not getting your name * But the host/waitress today (Jan 22) is the best. Told us about the back story as to why the Khao Soi noodles fried up and served on a chopstick. Kept the same energy for all the tables in the restaurant. Thank you for serving with passion and intent, you made the experience inviting and wonderful. On to the food. It's the Best Khao Soi I've ever had! Khao San Road, PAI, Sabai Sabai, none of them had a rich flavour profile anywhere near this Khao Soi. Everything in the dish was fresh. The Broth blew me away. Had to resist the desire to scrape ever last bit of it off the plate. 5/5 Nice little shop with a lovely host, serving up big flavours. I will be back for the Massaman Curry. 10/10 Perfect experience.

Thammada offers authentic Thai cuisines and 5* service. Texture (for ex: beef doneness) can be improved but the seasoning is done well across the dishes. Diverse menu with many small/big dish selections. The setting/decor is pretty and cosy with Asian signatures. But the highlight of the meal is definitely their lovely, welcoming, and humble people.

Went in a Thursday at 6, not too busy. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Made me feel like a king. The mango salad and spring rolls were great. The pad Thai was the best I’ve ever had in Canada. The waitress told the girl I was with that is very tall and should be a model. So that made her happy. Great meal, great service, served with a side of compliments. Will come back everytime I’m in the area.

What an amazing experience! The food was so flavourful, vibrant and delicious. Loved the ambience and the hospitality. Cherry was the nicest and provided us some great recommendations. Will definitely go back to try out some new items.

Visited the first time with my buddy, surprised with the pinky lighting and special vibe when I stepped in, good for a date I assumed! It wasn’t too busy during dinner time. We ordered khao soi, thai style wings, glass noodles and mango sticky rice! Didn’t regret at all with our orders, it was very flavorful and the dining experience was pleasant! Ideal place to bring your date for an Asian dinner!

First off, I love the ambiance of the place, beautiful interior design. Secondly, the staff was very welcoming ,friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes as he informed us about the ingredients and explained how the dish was made. Lastly, the delicious Thai Food: the veg spring roll was creatively done because apparently it had different types of lentils plus taro, it amazes us on how deliciously it turned out. The veg pad thai(gluten free) and veg green curry were very flavourful , balance taste and perfectly spiced and so far one of the best in Ontario. My husband and I are vegetarian so I'm grateful for the chef as he/she used an abundance of vegetables in all the dishes and excellent taste of the dishes. Thank you

Such a cute little spot that serves authentic Thai food that tastes like home food. While some dishes were good, other dishes were mouthwatering. The spring rolls were so damn tasty. I really liked that they were deep fried with a bread crumb coating. The green curry with the sticky rice was a great combination. All their stir fry dishes are also really good. Finally, I recommend their Thai Iced tea. Everything we ordered was much higher than average and some dishes were the best I've ever had.

Amazing Phad Khi Mao with authentic taste and fascinated look!! The food is just like what I would find in the famous street food in Thailand which you can find them here! All staff members are so helpful and friendly. Good job. 👍👍👍 Highly recommended for Thai food lovers or anyone who wants to try Thai food. You won’t regret any of your single bite.

Legit Thai owned & operated restaurant with super charming staff! Beautiful decor above & on the walls, this intimate restaurant has limited seating but they do take reservations. The (standing noodles) Khao Soi Curry - with shrimp #37 dish was outstandingly fun to see & the mix of soft & crispy noodles plus Penang-esque curry had a nice kick to it (even tho it was in the mild category). One staff person revealed this was their grandmother's personal recipe! Our group also ordered: calamari, tom yum soup, Chef's Specials #35 Pad Kraphow Khai Dao (chicken) & 36 - Eggplant, 33 Peneng Curry (chicken/shrimp) + coconut rice As we've been to several Thai places, we can vouch this is legit and you won't be disappointed on the quality and taste. For those that need extra mild dishes - both the Chef's Specials dishes meet this level and were super delish with the flavour of the main ingredients coming thru without being overpowered with sauce. Even the rice that came with #35 was a higher quality / tastier mix of wild rice vs a plain white grain version. We promise to be back! Thanks again to the lovely staff for all the food details and for the fun conversation! ( find me on Instagram via @aida.loves )

THAMMADA THAI CUISINE ROCKS! We dined there after we saw a writeup in the TORONTO STAR about a new neighbourhood restaurant Thammada Thai Cuisine, and were intrigued by the description of the Pla Tod Rad Namchim crispy fish and the Som Tam papaya salad. We ordered both, as well as a favourite noodle dish Pad Khi Mao. The meal was absolutely delicious! We have been to Thailand many times, and were very impressed by the authentic flavours and presentation of the food at Thammada. Owner/hostess Cherry was an absolute delight, sharing stories of growing up in Thailand with us, adding to the thoroughly enjoyable dining experience at THAMMADA THAI!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I was here with my family on Father’s Day and the restaurant was so busy because they were understaffed but they made sure we were happy with everything. Love the team, great food, cozy atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu 🫶🏻

Went here yesterday and had a fantastic experience! We are served by Cherry, and we got Chicken Massaman Curry & Tofu & Vegetable Green Curry! Both of them are SUPER GOOD - their creaminess is on point!!🤩✨️ Perfectly balance, huge amount of condiments, and cute atmosphere also! Highly recommend when you visit Lakeshore and we will be back!! It's a nice place to go. But the food is not as good as I expected. The green curry is too thin. Also The Tom yum is not strong as the Thai tradition. I would say it probably changes the style for Canadian. The chicken stay is worthy to recommend. But the crab roll (forget the name, it's fried appretizer) is not my cup of tea. Last, I do recommend the Thai drink. And the waitor is fantastic!

This was by far, the BEST service I've ever had. Owen treated us so well. Conversations made us feel welcome and all of the staff was accommodating and polite. They asked for allergies and even gave us recommendations. Owen even made sure to check on us with our drinks to ensure it was to our liking. Now for the food: dine-in portions are more than enough! The chilli basil fried rice was so tasty! But just beware that if you ask for mild spice, you definitely get mild. So if you like a little spice, ask for a higher number than 1. Their chilli oil (ask for it on the side) is actually very spicy (a good thing) so be careful. Their pad see ew was paired perfectly with the chilli oil and the noodles were big for this dish, it definitely works! The jasmine iced tea was delicious and if I could tolerate milk I would have 2 of those in one sitting. They make it in-house so keep that in mind! Owen made it in this instance and even gave us some to take home. The establishment is quite small but it's perfect for the vibe. An amazing date spot so you should definitely give it a try! We ended up eating there past their closing time, they stayed open for us to finish our food! I fell in love with this place

Loved this place! The food was amazing! I just got a pad Thai with chicken and vegetables, spicy, it had so much flavor and vegetables, the restaurant itself was really nice! I will dine in next time. Service was very friendly. Only downfall is that prices are on the high side.

#FirstVisit (with my mom) :3. I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while now due to raving reviews via Google & local community groups. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the chicken satay, and it tastes beautifully with the sauce. My mom got the noodle dish (vermicelli noodles w/ mixed veggies & beef). & I got the chicken penang curry (medium level spiciness) & rice. (Please note: RICE IS NOT INCLUDED). Plus, I ordered the Thai Iced Tea with Lemon. It was freshly brewed & the sweetness pairs nicely with the curry while it cooled down & cleansed my palate. The service & atmosphere were amazing! We love the asethetics and vibes inside the restaurant. Thank YOU so much for the amazing food & dining experience! We will definitely be back ❤️.

It is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. We ordered Tom Kha Soup with shrimp and chicken mix, which was excellent! The flavor of coconut milk and creaminess of the soup was to the mark. We also ordered Pad Woon Sen with beef and shrimp mix. The vermicelli glass noodles were stir-fried really nicely with all the veggies and mushrooms giving out an authentic Thai flavor to it. The staff were really very friendly and cordial. Definitely recommend all Thai food lovers! P.S. This place don't have their own parking space, so you have to go for the paid roadside parking.

Great atmosphere with excellent food and service! Really enjoyed the spiciness of the Pad Kraphow with beef (we ordered the spicy level). The khao soi was also delicious but a little sweeter than what I prefer. Seating is very cozy so I recommend making a reservation for larger groups. The server was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

I enjoyed a nice dinner here with my mom on October 4th. We ordered the veggie wontons, beef Massaman curry with coconut rice and the mango sweet & sour chicken with steamed rice. The wontons were amazing! Really glad I got them as an app, so flavourful. Cherry was our server and she was great! Very friendly and attentive. The portions are big, so we were able to take the rest home and have it for lunch the next day. The Thai iced tea was probably one of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend it. Love the ambiance of the restaurant and the vibe they are going for. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful little place with simple but beautiful decor. Food was delicious!! Service was super friendly, but when busy, service can be a bit slow but understandable. Food was a little slow to get out. Staff is knowledgeable with their menu, and made some great recommendations for gluten-free & dairy-free options. This restaurant will do very well!!

The atmosphere and ambiance of the place are incredible, and the food served there is exceptionally delicious. Cherry, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and provided helpful assistance. We were pleased to find that the establishment is halal and accommodating for children as well. We will certainly make a return visit without hesitation.

Picked up food. Was delicious. I am pescatarian during Lent, I was happy with the many options available here for me. The Pad See Ew (chicken) was delicious (feedback from family 😊; Massaman curry Shrimp was a 9/10 and the veg chilly basil fried rice was a 8.5/10. I will go back again for a dine in experience as the ambience and seating was not bad either. Overall I would say very good. Now I don’t need to go downtown for good Thai. 😂

Me and my family went to eat for my aunt’s birthday and everything we ate was delicious!! Starting from the welcoming to the end of the service, Owen, the server, was very lovely and accommodated almost everything we asked for. The service was very fast and efficient, the Thai milk that he prepared for us exceed our expectations (coming from south east Asia), so we definitely recommend it for whoever comes to eat here!! The food was amazing and very delicious! I say the chefs really did an amazing job and me and my family were more than satisfied about everything. We exited the restaurant with full bellies and big smiles! Plus points for customer service! We had a cake but no candles and they went out of their way to get them for us! We really appreciate their job and hope to return soon :) 20/10 for everything
