I purchased 4 bags of water softener salt on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 3:49pm. When I drove up to the in-store pick up area the closest available spot was blocked off by a cone so I parked at the next closest spot. The attendant (Larry) was extremely rude and refused to bring my order to my car and insisted that I park in the handicap spot because it was closer. Spoke to his manager/supervisor who was understanding and apologized. Overall bad shopping experience.

August 2021. Not a bad location and is a very large store with 2 levels. Store staff is ok and are helpful. Where I see issues are when customers are oblivious to what they should be looking for and are asking for something that staff are unable to answer. Yet, they expect that they know the answer. Overall, the store itself isn't bad. Some deals. Some real deals. Lots of selection of things around the house. This location also has a section for party supplies provided by party city which is convenient. Key cutting service as well.

It was raining a lot tonight when we went in (Thursday July 20th) so I parked in the underground parking near the auto shop. We walked in and there was an elder male security guard flirting with the female cashier #2 and told us we can enter from that side. No kidding I would be lost if he wasn't there to guide me. Mind you I have been shopping at this location for over 20 years and also bring in my car at their shop. We went upstairs and the customer service desk had no employees but I needed to get 2 keys cut we walked towards the party city area and they were literally sold out of all the balloons we wanted I saw an female Asian employee short hair and glasses and asked her for help she was right beside the balloon section however she was extremely ignorant and rude and said go to the customer service desk seeing I was disabled and she ran away. I found some balloons that were nice so we went and paid and the cashier was a very friendly male Ashish I even confirmed if I can get the balloons inflated he called and said yes. We paid for our balloons and went and got them inflated and we were walking back towards the back and finally saw an employee there she was an African Muslim lady very rude and very unprofessional of no help She looked like she was at a club more than work. Fake eyelashes and pure cake face wearing a Hijab we walked away and went back downstairs so we can leave. I wanted to look at the batteries near cash #1 and the same security guard came running up to me and starting advertising without even knowing which battery I needed I needed a single they only had doubles. He was very excited and seemed thrilled he would get to unlock the glass display. I said no thanks his smile went away and he said did you pay for those balloons? I said that is offensive if you work here you should know better you need to pay in order to get the balloons inflated and you are very rude he laughed but he was hurt since I did not buy the batteries we showed him the receipt which we did not have to. Anyhow your African and Asian employees are very unprofessional and biased like the woman at the key cut and this petty security guard. Do not tell me you are concerned because I called in right away and was hung up on by customer service 2 times and auto shop never picks up. I will be taking my business elsewhere terrible customer service and most managers are biased and very intimidating like the ones you had working on the main level around 8:45 pm You lost a loyal customer since you hire the most unprofessional and rude people to represent your store and brand.

I recently visited the Canadian Tire store several times and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. This large and excellent store, spanning across two floors, offers a fantastic shopping experience. Conveniently located next to a gas station, it provides a one-stop destination for all your needs. I was delighted to find a Starbucks coffee shop in CT neighborhood, allowing me to fuel up with a hot beverage before embarking on my shopping journey. The basement floor houses an impressive range of car consumables and accessories, catering to all automotive needs. From engine oil to windshield wipers, they had it all. Moving to the ground floor, I was amazed by the vast selection of home and kitchen appliances, tools, detergents, plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor furniture. It truly felt like a treasure trove for any homeowner or DIY enthusiast. The store consistently offers good deals, ensuring that customers get great value for their money. The standout feature of this Canadian Tire store, however, is its staff. The employees were incredibly helpful and friendly and available to assist with any queries or concerns. Their knowledge and expertise made the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this Canadian Tire store. It's a well-organized, well-stocked establishment with a wide variety of products, exceptional staff, and great deals. Whether you're a car enthusiast, a home improver, or simply in need of everyday essentials, this store has got you covered.

The place is almost complete for car parts and accessories. I just want to point out that the chairs in the waiting lounge are awful. Make me think twice to sit on. I hope they can repair or replace the leather.

So I went to customer service to get some assistance on a product. Please explain to me how I’m the first & the only person there yet this man does not assist me? Another woman came and stood near me afterwards and he immediately assisted her. As he’s assisting her, another man comes behind me for help. Once he was done with the woman, he refuses to acknowledge that I’m standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, and begins to assist the man next to me. Doesn’t even make eye contact with me. Once he’s done with the man, he just leaves. I had another older lady who was so kind to help me out. But Hello? If you’re so miserable, please quit your job.

I am revising my review due to my extremely troublesome experience with the auto service at this location for the second time. While I had no issues with the actual service provided by the oil shop, the customer service was absolutely appalling. There is an individual at the counter whose responsibility is to inform customers about the services they are receiving, associated fees, and other relevant details. However, his attitude was beyond awful. He consistently displayed a temper that made it impossible to ask a simple question, such as inquiring about the pricing difference between the advertised $79.99 oil change and the actual cost of over $103. His responses were accompanied by a disrespectful attitude and tone. I couldn't help but feel that he considered himself to be doing me a favor by even acknowledging my presence. This was an unprecedented experience for me, and I sincerely hope that nobody else has to endure such treatment. It is disheartening to witness individuals with such attitudes in the service industry, where we are all compensated for the services we provide. This middle-aged gentleman was particularly unprofessional and ill-suited for his position. I strongly advise seeking out alternative locations, as engaging with this individual will inevitably lead to regret and frustration. I truly hope that someone from the Customer Experience team takes appropriate action. I want to emphasize that the quality of the oil change itself was satisfactory, but the unpleasant facial expressions and attitude detracted significantly from the overall experience.

Appointment confirmed and came 15 minutes earlier as following with the instruction but staff didn't notice and waited for over 2 hours for only oil change and even they never said sorry to the customer. I was really disappointed with their attitude against the customer and also I can't see any respect or integrity to the customer either.

Nice local store for getting the essentials. Have been using it since it opened. Sadly I have now been banned from the store if I need to visit with my car. Today I made the mistake of wanting to check out the pop up store right around the corner after making a purchase at the store. An employee left the paper on my car's dashboard and made sure he stopped me and let me know that the cameras are watching and my plate has been recorded. Long story short, make sure you leave right after buying the things you need. I have learned my lesson. Replying to the company about hoping to see me back: it might be hard for me to come back since I'm not welcome to drive inside your parking lot anymore. Also, I hope you would reply to my inquiry about parking for accessing the Hot Dog stand outside of your store. That is the only accessible hot dog stand for me but now I can't get to it anymore since I don't know where to park.

Worst store! The manager Bill is just pathetic, terrible, rude, aggressive. When I asked his name, he gave me his first name and refused to provide last name or initials, so I asked how I could complain. he said I’m the store manager. Very funny the way he expressed like I have no place to complain because he is the ‘store manager’. Sorry to take it personal and being judgemental, but he is topical of a very ordinary guy, 60 -65 years old, earn a very ordinary salary around 80k-100k per year, but manages couple people at store with a manager title, which would gain his confidence level, feel good about himself and very comfortable to be rude and give people difficult time. The store return policy is pretty bad. And that guy just made it perfectly worst, he enjoys being difficult. He was even accusing I’m lying. We love Canadian tire and never had any trouble or complain, even got the credit card. Will never visit this store. I recommend any customer buy small appliances this store, open the package and check in store, or even try in store if possible. Otherwise not able to return it no matter what, defect and product is different from package, bring back within 2 days.

Took my car in to the Auto Shop for some repairs, oil change, and tire rotation. Specifically stated that I wanted to address the indicator light for tire pressure. It was the first thing I mentioned. I assumed it would be addressed or at least the problem would be explained. Got a call to puck up the Car which I did. Paid 1200 dollars for the repairs. No one says anything about the light when I pick up the car, so I assume it is resolved. I drive the car home and the light remains on. I call back, they ask me to bring the car back. I'm annoyed because this was what I wanted fixed. When I get back the service rep gets the mechanic and basically tells me he didn't fix it because it would have required diagnostics and the car is 10 years old. That is not Canadian Tires decision to make, and the mechanic was overstepping his role. If I had known they would ignore the issue I came in for. I wouldn't have spent 1200 dollars on other repairs. I would suggest taking automobile for repairs at a shop that does as instructed. not at this Canadian Tire. Never again.

    >> PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR AND AVOID THE AUTO SHOP<< Upstairs is okay, Auto Shop sucks! To start with the good, the place is clean (I'll come back to this later), most of the staff that you can find is helpful. When you call the store it is a mixed bag. In my experience the managers are knowledgeable and courteous. I would have honestly given this place four stars if not for the auto shop. Similarly, I would have given 1 star if not for the upstairs. I have trusted the Auto Shop two too many times. The first time, I come home park my car in the garage, and the next day I find a big pool of oil. The technician did not secure the oil filter properly. After I get an oil change, am I supposed to crawl under the car and make sure the filter cap is tightened? The second time, the technician was doing a repair and needed to step inside the car to move the vehicle. Upon receipt of the vehicle, the driver carpet floor mat was extremely dirty (not even considering that there is a rubber mat on top). Imagine where the floors in the store are more clean than after the technicians are finished with your car.

Try to avoid buying a bike here. After a month every single screw is coming apart. The handle bar shifted completely and pedals eventually come off on their own. Not using threadlocker isnt just an inconvenience but dangerous. Shame. Edit: I took the bike in for repairs. They said there was nothing wrong with the handle since i tightened it myself but i expressed concerns that it may open up again overtime due to lack of thread locker. It was likely missed due to communication error. However they did tidy up the front brakes and tuned it so ill move it to 3 stars. Not a 5 since they never adressed the main problem

Automotive Service department is extremely slow and unhelpful. .Looks like the store changed staff a while ago. This is not an overbooking situation, this is an unreliable-staff-and-management situation. Time is precious and this store does not value that. My car sat in parking lot for 50 minutes for a Coolant/Heating checkup. Come on!! Explain to your customers that you are either very slow/very busy or very lazy! I explained to one of the managers that only when I approached the service desk they gave some info. The person I spoke to seemed to be completely absent minded. If you have customer's phone number, Let them know they have to wait. If the original expectation after an appointment is 1 hour and a half and after 50 minutes you have not started working on a vehicle, let the customer know because you are not going to service the car on time!!!!!!. Speak to the mechanic about updates or give them walkie talkies. Zero communications skills. All the back and forth between front desk staff and mechanics is generated because there is no organization or manager is not looking after employees. From my point of view this is a vacation trip for mechanics and front desk staff. I will not return to this unhelpful establishment. Either don't overbook appointments or hire better competent staff or close the auto service department. You have options!!! Wake up from COVID 2020 era and come back to reality. Canadian Tire Management must also be all the time on vacation for sure. Wake up or Amazon is also going to get rid of you in a timely manner and it is only going to be your fault! Instead of spending money on silly building renovations that do not add any value to the store, hire reliable staff that will bring positive results to the service that is offered. Someone needs to either quit/retire here. What a horrendous experience! I miss Mario at the automobile front desk so much!! What happened to reliable service???

Exceptional service! Brought my car in for tires change and oil change, the team went above and beyond. Honest and fair pricing compare to dealers and other auto repair places and the work was completed promptly. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire experience stress-free. Highly recommend this location for anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy auto repairs. A++!

Horrific customer service in the auto department. I showed up early, to my appointment made weeks in advance, to get my tires changed and had to wait over two hours. Normally that would be fine, but the reason they asked me to show up early was to make sure I could get my car in. I had to cancel my evening plans due to their greedy overbooking. They didn't get my car in until after 4:00! The manager was EXTREMELY RUDE. I don't typically exaggerate but he called me a liar to my face, mocked my physical disability, and laughed at me when he saw I was getting upset. All the customers in line behind me (several of whom had to wait over four hours!) were incredulous. He wasn't wearing a name tag, but he had brown hair, balding, with glasses. For what little it's worth I will never return to any Canadian Tire for any mechanical work, and this guy should never hold a position in customer service. Simply embarrassing! I am writing this in disbelief.

Really good place to look for Holiday decorations and tools. Fairly good price with sale. The store was quite busy unexpectedly during Thursday evening. However, this location is well managed and with sufficient staff that can provide help and services.

Canadian Tire is probably the best store in Canada. They've got everything that you'll possibly need, their prices are great and sales are even better. This location is always well maintained, cleaners and organized. Staff have always been willing to answer any questions I have.

Yesterday, I had an extremely frustrating experience at the Canadian Tire store at 1019 Sheppard Ave E., and I felt compelled to share my disappointment with the broader community. My visit to this Canadian Tire store was prompted by an advertisement in their flyer stating that they had 56 medium-sized disposable gloves in stock, a product I urgently needed. I also confirmed the availability of these gloves through the Canadian Tire app before making the trip. However, what followed was a disheartening series of events. Upon arriving at the store, I sought assistance from the staff to locate the gloves. To my dismay, I received conflicting directions from different employees, causing significant confusion and wasting my time. It took the intervention of a Department Manager to finally pinpoint the designated location, only to find it empty. I was then asked to wait while they checked the warehouse for stock, and after 15 minutes, no gloves had been found. Frustrated and increasingly impatient, I approached Mr. Ray Irwin, General Manager, for help. His response was astonishingly dismissive: "Sorry, we have no inventory of this product." There was no offer of a raincheck or attempt to resolve the situation. This entire ordeal lasted nearly 30 minutes, during which I ran around the store seeking assistance, only to be told that the product I needed was unavailable. The lack of transparency regarding inventory and the unhelpful response from what I assume was a store manager left me deeply dissatisfied. In conclusion, my experience at the Canadian Tire Sheppard Ave E. store was nothing short of a disappointment. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to give this store a one-star rating on Google.

Unfortunately, I did not receive any service when I came , I was buying a hockey helmet. The worker simply pointed out to me and did not even show me in detail where I could find the helmet I needed. The selection there is good but the service is very bad. I wouldn't go back a second time. Although this may be store policy..

Wish we hadn't bought anything from them. Overpriced with no possibility of testing. Wasted our money. Update and response to the store response: first of all I did contact the customer service and didn't get any help. Secondly we decided to give the store another chance and it was worse than before! The customer service desk shows up only after 11.30! All those standing around seem clueless. IWe keep getting tossed around and end up giving up. More update. We brought our ID for the credit card. Your customer service which showed up atv11.30 collected it and said she'll fax it. Weeks later the bank has no record. We decided to give up. But we'd like to file a complaint. Nobody should be treated like this. Avoid Canadian Tire and its Bank.

Great selection, unfortunately you are treated like a criminal and locked in the store. Went to look at some paint samples but was not planning on purchasing that day, when you try to leave the store, you literally have to ask to be "let out", and got suspiciously looked at, really weird customer experience, I think I will stick to home Depot where they value your business.

Great customer service experience 👍 However, It's inconvenient to drive down to pick up area for large item located ground level if you parked your vehicle on upper level. But your item is ready by associates at the designated area.

I always come to this place if there are some emergency things for the house. You can find batteries, napkins, seeds, drinks, and chocolate with a chair and screw driver. I can say they have almost everything you need. I bought some toys also in this Canadian tire for my kids. Because they price still in my range of budget and it is a huge store. So you will feel convenient when you look in this store.

Newly renovated store, spacious aisles, designated shelves and areas for all merchandise, high stacked shelves like mass merchandising well lit. A bit getting used to new layout but more fun shopping and browsing. Love their triangle credit card points redemption setup when checking out as it shows how much points you have and able to use it. Higher goods costs like everywhere is passed on to the consumer😢 despite this, it's still one of my favorite places to shop.

Simply amazing. Went in today with our chihuahua and saw 3 dogs in the store. I was nervous prior because usually stores are very anti-animals urgently requesting service animal documentation. In the winter our chih can’t walk outdoors. And this 10 minute walk around the store made her really happy. Says a lot about a culture of a corporation when they and their staff are so so friendly towards harmless animals. I will be back for shopping for all the wide variety of products I saw that they sell, and huge variety of simple items such a coffee/special beverage type items. Also huge selection of pet items. Didn’t buy anything today since my sister developed a tummy ache mid shopping. But I will be back with my wallet, and dog ahha 🙏🏻🤣❤️. Thank you, and shout out to the super friendly staff.

Canadian Tire at Sheppard & Leslie is a fantastic place for all your shopping needs. This store offers a wide range of products, from automotive supplies to household items, outdoor gear, and more. The location is easily accessible and has ample parking space. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to assist you with your inquiries. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The prices are competitive, and they often have great deals and promotions. Whether you need tools, sporting goods, or home essentials, Canadian Tire Sheppard & Leslie is a reliable and convenient one-stop shop. Highly recommended!

Every time I visit this store I have nothing but great things to say!!! My recent visit the other night I noticed this NEW car displayer (picture). The new displayer spins and is so convenient. Cars are such amazing quality and this store really laid them out nicely. Will definitely visit again :)

Had my car serviced here. The location, services, online appointment scheduling, and customer service was great. A very clean store in a convenient location. The job was assessed quickly and completed within a day. I would only say that the hourly labour cost is a bit higher than some other quotes that I obtained, however based on all of the above comments and the 100 day guarantee provided for their work, I am very satisfied. I will use the shop again.

I am so impressed with Canadian tire and their customer service. I returned a filter. I was sure the the receipt was in the bag. It was not. She looked up the part number, the location I purchased it from and my debit card and the return was back in my account in no time. So impressed how their systems are so linked. Great customer service. Thank you!

Awful Auto center customer service and rude staff. By having an appointment for oil change it took me 2.5 hours and when I asked them I have been told we can return your car without being serviced, also they offered me $109 package then told me we needed to add more oil because it covers just 5 liters and we changed filter as well, they didn’t give me enough information from the beginning. Awful awful service.oh my god tps is still on they have not completed the service. Who is responsible?????
