They are the best, I buy all my model planes here and as you can see I have a few. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly!! The BEST store to shop at, they are accommodating. When you contact them, they respond to you fast. I asked them about a model plane and they ordered it for me (ANA Starwars ). I look forward to many more trips down to the city, to buy more planes.

Had my 737-800 1hr session there today.. Amazing experience for aviation enthusiasts! After years of flight simming at home and going in there prepared with the fundamentals, the feel of the large panoramic screen, cockpit controls and realism, I don't think I will be able to go back to sim at home.

This place was my son's dream come true! #AbsolutelyFantastic experience and lots of cool aviation models and gear in the store. Not only that but it is directly under the landing path of planes landing at Pearson so you can plane watch while you wait for your appointment! The staff were very helpful, accommodating and patient. Highly recommend.

Basically, the staff make a mistake on our appointments, make two sessions on the same time without telling us until we wait about 30 minutes in the shop. No instructions appeared on our confirmation email, and they just cancelled our confirmation and refunded. Thought no money lost, but having a really bad experience. We even booked our session 2 days before and stuff did not realize their mistakes until we went to the shop. I really bad experience, not going to choosing them again.

I booked a session one month in advance, paid in full, called them twice to make sure it's confirmed, and received a confirmation email. One day before the session, they called and cancelled, saying they don't have an instructor available. When I asked how come they didn't call earlier, they said they just planned the instructors' programs a few days ago!! No apologies, no compensation, no alternative time slots, not even the decency to give us a heads up a few days earlier, when they figured no one's available. It wasn't a last minute emergency, or unexpected issues. Just poor management. I had to call back 3 times to get a refund! So don't trust your booking, or the confirmation email or actually talking to them! It might be cancelled.

Very unprofessional! I scheduled on a date that was showing on your website as "available". This was for a birthday. I immediately received an email confirming that my credit card was charged but I never received an email that the date wasn't available. I also never received an email to schedule a specific time. So, I emailed your company. No response. Finally, a week later, I called you and you said "oh you shouldn't assume the date is available unless we send you a confirmation"?!?! How does that even make sense? How am I supposed to know it's not available - guess? If the site let's one book a given date, one would think it's actually available. If it isn't available, one would also expect you to make contact with me to say "sorry, this date isn't available". Basically, the site takes your money, makes you think you're good to go for that date and nobody gets back to you either way. * I emailed you three times and haven’t yet received any sort of response.

I purchased a flying lesson for my hubby for his birthday back in January and we went in yesterday to use it and my hubby had the best time. Damon was our instructor and he is very knowledgeable and is great at what he does. We left with purchasing a 2nd lesson (even though we live an hour away) as I too want to give it a try. Amazing experience HIGHLY recommend 👌

I highly recommend Threshold Aviation for your pilot supply and diecast model selections. They are top notch and have always welcomed me with open arms and friendly staff. They have been extremely helpful when I am looking for something specific. Kudos!

Purchased ticket for their Simulator for my 13 yr old grandson who is obsessed with planes. He is Deaf and required an interpreter. They glady accommodated that need and on the day were SO patient and kind. We all had a great time and my grandson was over the moon with the experience. Highly recommend 👌

I would say it's a cool experience if you never tried before, only thing if that some features are not coded in to simulation such as the building( if u crash in to it, it goes through) etc. Overall good experience

They were able to accommodate me on a short notice. Andrew the flight instructor was awesome, he walked us through the simulation and showed us all the ins and out of flying a 737. I bought the 1 hour simulation and had fun with the entire experience. If I was ever back in the area, I would certainly come for more. Definitely recommend, and ask for Andrew for your simulation trainer!!

A nice little shop mainly geared towards aircraft models but they also have many more items including apparel and training material. They also have a full-sized static 737 simulator, that’s available upon reservation. Check their website for details. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the nicest people that I have dealt with! Right from the booking staff who was very flexible and accommodating to the simulation instructor who went over and above to make this a memorable experience. Definitely worth every penny! The other nice thing is that the price is really based only on the duration of the simulation. That's unlike some of the other options where you have to buy "add-ons" or upgrades to do simple things like trying more than 1 city, or take off and landing, or stunt simulations etc. You can literally do all those things at threshold aviation stimulation for one flat price.

The neatest aviation supply store adjacent to Toronto-Pearson Airport. One can find just about any and all necessities or gifts regardless of being a crewmember or enthuthiast. Would continue visiting and purchasing from this store in the future as the staff and services are excellent.

Not only is this a great experience but the staff and pilots are extremely friendly and love what they do. Special thanks to Faheem and Tom. They also carry a wide variety of planes. I haven't seen this selection anywhere.

Had an amazing time shopping here. They have plenty of options to pick from for airplanes. I didn’t find the specific one I was looking for , which is either an American 320 or an American 787. But I did find an ERJ 175 which is what I purchased. Looking forward to visiting this store next time I’m in the neighborhood!

Customer Service Level Is Awful! Three months ago I ordered a bag online and paid for the two day shipping option that was expensive due to the size of the shipment. A week went by after I placed the order without it being shipped. I sent three emails during the week all ignored. Finally they shipped it but with a different shipping company and a longer shipping time than I paid for. They finally got back to me, apologized and refunded my shipping. I thought I would give them another try. I ordered a model from them and paid again for the express shipping. The order went multiple days again without being shipped and no response to my email asking when it will be shipped. Why offer these different and more expensive shipping options when you wait a week to ship the in stock items? The model arrived and has a noticeable paint defect. I’ve emailed and again no response from them. They never respond to emails.

Enjoyed their 737 flight simulator a lot. The female instructor is so knowledgeable and helpful, it made our experience unforgettable. Thank you so much 🙂

Absolutely amazing experience! I went last weekend to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. I honestly can’t stop talking about it with my coworkers and friends. I can’t remember the name of our instructor but she was absolutely amazing! She was so patient with us and overall just a cool person to learn from. If you are thinking about trying this experience…do it! You will have zero regrets!

They are amazing! Threshold aviation is my favourite store because I’m into aviation. My friend told me about this store because he also into aviation. he give me the address, and i went to visit threshold aviation the first time i went, i knew it was a beautiful store! The staff are really helpful and kind! I bought my first model, that was a emirates A380 1:250 after I bought the emirates A380, I came back to buy another Emirates A380 which was the emirates A380 50 year, And they also have great service I asked the staff if they had the model I wanted and they had it, i called them today, they answer quick, I asked them if they got a Turkish airlines 787-9 1:200 and they said they had 3 in stock, I am gonna be visiting soon.

The flight simulator was a very unique experience. We were a little off the fence about it but with the summer promo going on as well as our Flight Engineer 😉 Tom's charismatic nature and allowing us to get a sneak peak, we were onboard to try it out for real. Zero regrets, well worth the money, and an absolutely cool experience. Makes me appreciate pilots that much more 🫡 Also the shop is very cool as well, I got a couple stickers for the road.

Good store. They always provide good service. Had to buy a shirt very last minute and they had pilot shorts in every size and variation. Friendly and polite staff too.

Threshold Aviation is "Heaven on Earth" for Aviation Geeks (which I am). The day I was surprised for my 31st birthday to go here while visiting Toronto was one of the best days of my life. I had the privilege of flying in the 737 cockpit simulator, which was taken from a real scrapped United Airlines 737-500 (registration "N911UA," which was retired after only 14 years of service out of respect because it referenced "9/11"). That experience was the fulfillment of a fantasy I had had since my early teens. I then bought a bunch of merchandise from that store which I still look at every day in my apartment. According to store employees (all of whom were very passionate at knowledgeable), pilots from around the world who fly into Toronto-Pearson International Airport (which is just across the highway from Threshold Aviation) frequently come into the store while on overnight layover.
