Dining out is about more than sustenance, and Albatros Pub knows it. For every festival holiday and event they decorate their restaurant from top to bottom. The Halloween decorations are always extraordinary. The food is delicious. It is not a fast food restaurant by any means. The chef cooks each meal with care, and it’s worth the wait. The servers are hospitable, and the restrooms are clean. If you’re in the area looking for a hidden gem, this is the place to go!

Good experience and tasty food. The platter for two was a good choice to sample the perogies, pancakes and the schnitzel.

Wow! Highly recommend Albatros Pub! Great service, awesome environment (the best Halloween decorations!), cozy, welcoming vibes. We brought our toddler and he loved checking everything out. Great for families, dates, nights out. A great local spot.

I absolutely loved the Halloween decor. And the food is fresh and very tasty. Probably one of the closest restaurants of having a nice Polish home cooked style meal. The blonde waitress is also very pleasant and polite even when it is busy.

The food was awful. I order a French onion soup it tasted like hot water. The Gnocchi was not cooked properly and the sauce was watery. I gave back the French onion soup and the waitress still charged for it. When I complained to the waitress about charging me she said because no one else has ever complained. I told her now I will give you a bad review. The service was bad as well. I won't go there again.

Fun pub setting, cheerfully decorated and cozy. Well prepared dishes from Poland and nearby cuisines. The Albatros schnitzel was light and crispy, with nice sides. Wish list: local craft beer on tap, and lower volume on the retro pop playlist

It was ok, but the borshe was lame, I should have read that it was just a broth with add-on tortellini, for a Polish restaurant it can be a lot better. The Bar staff wasn't very happy looking and had zero personality. Same with the cook who would come to the bar for a beer or drink, and bartender.was gone for maybe 5 -10 min at a time to help cook in the kitchen and serve. Still bar was left unattended a few times we had to wait to re-order. Also to pay you have to have cash or walk to the side of the bar, it's not a big deal but who wants to go up to the bar and wait to pay while the server is talking with regulars, we didn't feel welcome at all, we will 100$ never return.

Food was great! We had the platter for 2 and there's more than enough food as you can see. It is a pub, so can be a little loud, but was very festive with lots (and I mean LOTS) of Christmas decorations. Looking forward to going again after the holiday season.

Don't let the outside fool you! The food and atmosphere is wonderful. They could use an update on some of their furniture and the service can be a bit slow as it appears they often only have 1 server - but that could have just been our experience. The food is undeniable amazing (we usually get the platter as it has a bit of everything)! We love going there and they always go all out decorating for the different holidays.

Just moved into the neighborhood and looking for a good pub we could go to on the regular. Just called to ask if they have their Christmas decorations out yet cause my kids were excited based on photos (and the fact they advertise how they go all out for holidays). Was going to try and make a reservation for 8 people but the guy who answered said “I’m busy” and hung up. No thanks. Plenty of other pubs with polite workers/owners we can choose from.

This is a local bar, and its good to spend some time with your friends there. The area is quiet. The decorations is eye catching, and worth the visit.

Best schnitzel I've had in a while! This place is great with the seasonings and sides, made with care and attention every bit of it. Highly recommend you get the potatoes not the fries! We tried the classic Albatros pork schnitzel which for me is definitely the way to go. We got the chicken schnitzel too but I think that isn't worth it..unless you really love your chicken 😄 Will visit again!

A hidden gem. The decor, food quality and service make Albatros worthy of a cross town drive or bike ride. I've been going there for years and never, even during a pandemic, does the food falter. Portions are generous too. I will go there and enjoy the decor and sip fresh Polish beer after this pandemic ends. This is one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the city.

Comfortable little pub, a few big screens t.v's. Good place to meet up with a friend. Quiet, not so loud. Menu selection good and different (polish), most will find something that they will eat. Not so much food selection for vegetarians though. Perogies dish was good.

Very nice decor! I was so excited to eat authentic Polish food. However, I ordered borscht soup with meat and received some red water with some fried egg roll on the side LOL (you can google what the soup is supposed to look like and understand...) The Pelmeni was fine. The side veggies and salads were great. The service is more like: you are not welcome here and I don't want to serve you... The restaurant also smelled like bleach. I give 3 stars for the amazing decor and the great salads.

Very cozy place. Great polish food! Freshly made and incredibly tasty! Just like it was made at home! Apart from that there is also a huge selection a of beers. A fine thing!

Best European food In Etobicoke. Home made!! With the restrictions right now they have a great take out winter menu For $40 for two people. we have enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow and it’s so delicious. Throw in a soup for $5 and you got a hearty home made dinner for a couple of days. They never skimp food including the side dishes. We have Never been disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again in person to enjoy the ambiance but for now at least this satisfies the craving. Miss ya. Stay strong Albatros Pub!!

What a wonderful place. The food was excellent and genuine. The people very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend trying this place out.

It is an excellent Polish food restaurant, with an atmosphere decorated in a medieval style that allowed me to enjoy good beers and wines as if I were in another era.

Food and decor was 5/5, coming from a polish background and as someone that adores celebrating holidays. However the servers and customer service lose a star (if not more) as they are not attentive and are a bit miserable. I hate to say that however I would come back under a different set of expectations: go for the food and the decor but not for the service at all. So make sure you're patient!

The Albatross can be best described as a cozy hunting cabin in the middle of the city. Must see for the extraordinary effort for Halloween. Sneaky good food, casual and great spot to catch a game.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is sooo good here that I honestly consider it to be some of the best in the city, if not the best. Super authentic home cooking taste like grandma made it. The atmosphere is cosy and warm like a European lodge. Great imported beers on tap and super affordable to say the least.

I’ve been coming here for as long as I remember. I love this place so much. I get the calamari every time I come and it’s the best I’ve ever had in Ontario. Their fries are also so yummy 😋. The seasonal decorations are a must see here. They deck the whole place out for Halloween, Christmas and valentines. Its so festive and really impressive.

I was visiting from Sarasota, FL and I was driving down the street looking for some homemade food. Being on the road all the time eating fast food eventually gets to you physically and mentally. Finally, I found a place where the food is made from scratch and tastes amazing, not mentioning the portions were very generous. The staff was very friendly even the cook came out to see if I was satisfied with my meal. Cheers. Michael

Great atmosphere! Love that they change up their decorations for seasons or holidays. The winter + valentines decorations added a ton of character. Wide drink selection and the food was great too. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience here. Will be a yearly if not more trips for my friends and family. We had no idea this was here and just picked a random place to get some Brew. Excellent service, super friendly and incredible Food. Highly recommend you go here for some Xmas cheer and spirit. Every inch was filled with Christmas.

This pub is a hidden gem in the truest sense of the phrase. The taps are clean and beer delicious. All food is made to order and absolutely terrific. I almost hesitate to post this review, because I think about this place as my little secret.

Amazing pub with fantastic festive spirit! Good selection of craft and world beers. Delish schnitzel!! Small and quaint. Can get busy so may have to sit at the bar. Sports on the tvs. And plenty of street parking out front.
