My
wife
and
I
wanted
to
spend
Saturday
evening,
2nd
Feb,
2024,
at
this
venue,
mainly
because
of
the
band:
The
Orangeman,
and
we
had
also
planned,
to
have
drinks
and
snacks.
My
wife
called
the
management,
at
approximately
4:00
pm,
and
was
informed
that
the
place
was
full,
but
that
my
wife
and
I
would
be
granted
"standing
room."
We
drove
about
35
minutes,
to
Timothy's
Pub,
had
difficulty
finding
parking,
approached
the
entrance
and
were
informed
that
we
could
not
enter
this
pub,
because
the
pub
was
full.
My
wife
informed
the
guy
at
the
entrance,
about
the
call
at
4:00pm
and
he
acknowledged
the
content
of
the
call,
but
added,
"I
am
sorry...
the
place
is
full."
We
reminded
this
person
about
the
call,
and
he
again
said,
"I
am
sorry...
the
place
is
full."
This
is
an
example
of
bad
Customer
Service.
So...
we
were
disappointed
and
left.
A
point
worth
mentioning,
is
that
the
word
"sorry,"
means
nothing,
unless
you
can
back
it
up,
by
some
positive
action,
in
favour
of
the
person,
who
has
been
disappointed,
because
of
failure
to
honour
one's
commitment.
This
is
a
point
that
all
business
people
should
be
aware
of.
