I went to the skate trail right when it opened at 10 am and it was already starting to get busy. The trail is scenic, surrounded by trees and a great view of the old power station. The surrounding Humber campus is also very picturesque. There's also a waterfront trail which I imagine is quite scenic though I skipped it today. The ice was in rough shape despite just opening for the day and there were a lot of deep grooves creating tripping hazards. But it was fun nonetheless. I'm not sure if the building was closed for the holidays or because of surging case numbers, but there is a port-a potty if you've really got to go! Overall, I really enjoyed skating here.

We enjoyed walking through the paths. There are a number of trails, and one leads to a point where a lot of people go to bird watch. There is a bench there and a pole showing the direction of various places in the world and their distances. Great place to ride a bike. Also, it's a great view of the Toronto city skyline.

Great place to relax and recharge. The park has a few bikes around the shore with quite a bit of wildlife. I noticed a few amateur photographers picking this spot for wildlife photography and decided to try my luck. The place also has a marina that is closed as expected during winter but is a good social place for seagulls. The place has a small skating trail that is open this time of year but required a special reservation. We found sufficient parking for quite a lot of cars. It is supported by GreenP and is free during weekends.

Colonel Samuel Smith Park behind Humber College complex is very vast and beautiful. There are huge lush green lawns with beautiful tress. There are walking trails alongside Ontario lake. There's wildlife too as some small green jungle like pockets exist here and are very well maintained. A. Very beautiful place for people loving nature.

This place is good for watching sunrise. The trail is not bad as well. There is a space where some people do bird watching, which is really nice because you can sew different kinds of species. They have a big parking lot and they also have a dog park nearby. It is also a nice view to see the Toronto skyline.

This is a relatively nice natural park with some wildlife (mostly birds) and good scenery. It's not manicured and it's kept in its natural state so don't expect to see landscaped, well maintained gardens. Worth checking out when you're bored and out of other outdoors options. Don't drive out of the way to get here. Only visit if you happen to be in the area.

Beautiful park in Etobicoke. Great waterfront views. Good trails for walking, strollers or biking. Lots of happy dogs around. Amazing birding spot. Always a pleasure to come here for the day. Definitely recommend a walk through if you're in the area and looking for a new park to check out

One of most relaxing places to go and get back in touch back with nature. Weather you walking by the water enjoying Toronto skyline views or chilling on the beach front enjoying the calming sounds of the water and admiring how clean and clear water is. Lots of different types of birds and animals to see. If you enjoy fishing as I do you could spend the whole day down here just casting. Lots of decent size fishes in here. I'd definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature.

This is another lovely park close to downtown Toronto. And if the weather is favourable, you could get awesome sunrise photos from there. While there may be no formal play ground for kids, you may see them playing along the beach. There is no picnic area, but they are a few benches where you can sit and take in the vistas. Many people visit this park for different reason. And some of those reasons are: To spend time at the beach with the family. Others just go for a walk, while others can be seen jogging or riding their bikes. This is a very dog friendly park, as there is a section for a dog park. Or you will see others walk-in the trails with their dogs mainly on leashes. Another group of people that use this park is birders / photographers. I fit into the latter group. As an amateur wildlife photographer, you may spend hours at a location trying to capture your subjects. This hobby really calls for patience. So this will mean that there is sometimes a need to use a restroom. And this is what I donโ€™t like about the park. Yes, they are porta potties in one of the two parking lots, but sometimes they can be poorly maintained. While they will be some in a building close by, many times the building is locked and you have no access to washroomsโ€ฆbecause the porta potty was in no condition to be used. There was a note on the door of the building directing people to use the washroom facilities at the community centre across the street. But there was also no access to those washrooms, because that building was also closed. While I do love this park for the wildlife, I certainly dislike the washroom situation.

I recently visited the ice skating park, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. The well-maintained rink provided a smooth surface for skating, and the overall ambiance was festive. The staff was courteous and helpful, making the experience enjoyable for skaters of all skill levels. The park's picturesque setting added to the charm, creating a perfect winter atmosphere. I appreciated the availability of rental skates and the attention to safety measures. It's a fantastic place for both families and individuals seeking a fun and active winter activity. I highly recommend the ice skating park for anyone looking to embrace the season on the ice.

Our favourite green space alongside the lakeshore! Simply beautiful beyond words! Lots of space and trails to walk your dogs or cycle. Lots of flora and fauna for nature enthusiasts. Especially for bird watchers as there are many indigenous birds that reside in this green space. Beautiful lakeshore as well , although a little rocky for kids perhaps. No washrooms on site, so plan accordingly. Bonus is there is a large leash free dog park there as well. Although this is a very beloved and busy park there is plenty of parking for all to enjoy.

This park is literally a hidden gem in Etobicoke. It seems like most of the people don't even know this park with its beautiful waterfront trail and yacht club exists. We went here on a Saturday of a summer long weekend and there were not many people. There were many parking spots available and parking was free during the weekends and holidays. It is a peaceful park with a long waterfront trail and a gorgeous view of Lake Ontario. It has a good view of the Toronto skyline and you can even spot CN tower while walking, biking or skating.

Beautiful place to go for a walk, skate or just sit beside the lake. The trail is full with trees and very scenic. It has a magical view and unwinding calming energy, especially during winter. The vibe is very similar to Tommy Thompson Park, but has its own charm.

This place is beautiful! There are many stone and gravel paths. The stone paths are very wide and dotted with classic style lamp posts! There's a marina hidden in all of these wonders. You can sit all day watching the boats come and go. Fantastic place to walk your pets! Just watch out for the coyotes (see pic).

The perfect spot for a picnic. Nice scenic view with the skyline of Toronto. Try go early morning or on sunset with your friends and family. But too many mosquitoes around so carry a bug spray.

Toronto's best kept secret. One of the best trails and lakeshore I've been to in GTA. Not so crowded, mostly frequented by local Etobicoke residents and photographers. Great views of downtown skyline.

This park has now become one of my favorite spots to watch the full moon rises. Great view of the Toronto skyline. An awesome locale to go for a hike and watch the sail boats sail out of the marina nearby. It's a lovely escape from the hassle and bustle of the city. There are plenty of benches to stop and take a rest on as needed.

Really nice and nice folks hang out there with their loved ones or their dogs . There are many areas to sit and contemplate facing the water. Oh I forgot to me too the variety of plants and may be the cayote sometimes even though I haven't been lucky to spot one so far

Good park facing Lake Ontario that has lots of free parking, nice trails and opens space with benches. No BBQ facility or any firewoks allowed. It has access to boat parking and there is boat club with nice facility where club members can enjoy get together, dinner etc. The water front is clean and one can step in at own risk. There are NO other outdoor games like baseball park, basket ball net, swings etc. Overall nice park for walks, bike rides (no separate path) to enjoy water front.

A beautiful, peacefully park with different things to discover including nature trails, a "hidden" lake which also doubles as a bay and docking place for yatch, a beautiful view to the downtown Toronto city skyline and beautiful rocks to rest besides the calm and clean lake waters

This is a prodigious natural area at the west end of Toronto. The Humber Bay Beach Parks are just 4.5 kilometers in the north to the east from here. After parking your vehicle in one of the three paid parking areas at the end of the park (free parking on weekends and holidays) and walking on a wide trail, the hidden lake and quite large sandy beach appear. There are plenty of tracks going in different directions and tens of winding beaten paths in the bushes. The beach was clean and easily accessible. On a hot sunny Sunday, about 4 p.m., all the sizable beach area was busy with several people enjoying various activities like swimming, canoeing, and boating. The alluring views of Toronto skyline and the CN Tower was very clear from the shore. Although the beach and most part of the tracks were clear of bugs, surprisingly, there were swarms and swarms of mosquitoes at some places. It is strange that there is no washrooms, or we could not find one, in such a humongous public place. Overall, this park has a lot to offer to the lovers of vegetation, birds, trails, and enormous waterbody.

Amazing views, I especially recommend visiting the park during sunset. There are no buildings blocking you from enjoying the full majesty of the sun setting in the horizon. The area was not too crowded during the couple times that I have visited, so there usually isn't too much noise.

Colonel Samuel Smith Park - Etobicoke. Of varied options to explore here, we came across tranquil lakeshore aside the park offering trails and hike routes, your own breathing space both for a walk and solitude, flora and fauna, birds to watch in their natural habitat and unique yachts ๐Ÿ›ฅ views and park facilities that lend a distinct look to this park. Photos reveal the water and itโ€™s cool colour moods ๐Ÿšฟ . Explore and enjoy. Time well spent.

Great park to do ice skating. If you visit the ice skating loop you may have a plastic walker which assists you in taking your very first steps on the ice.

Great place for a walk with great views. It is very dog friendly which was nice to see. Itโ€™s a very nice park that has a mix of nature, forests, city views and beach views. It can be very dark in some paths, I got confused a couple times on which way Iโ€™m walking/should be walking towards Whimbrel Point to see the city views but ended up seeing the city view on one of the paths so I didnโ€™t have to walk til there. It got dark very quickly but thereโ€™s still a good amount of people who are walking through. Although when you start to hear howling, thatโ€™s your curfew. Also it seems like the parking further into the park seems to be free as it looked like the one closer to humber, you have to pay. But donโ€™t quote me, I personally didnโ€™t see a pay machine at the further one.

It reminds me of the park from the city where I was brought up, ATIRA, near Indian Institute of Management iim Ahmedabad INDIA It's the same vibe as both being the university area, and the walk in the Park make me feel like a King, sure, I am a fresh prince while I ride my bike on the trails At times At times just laying on back on the beach and counting stars ๐ŸŒŸ Remember the brave. It's one of the nicest lakeside parks I've been too but it's a biased opinion since I prefer the hiking scene over a city type lakeside view. This location feels urban & isolated from city life. It's got long hiking trails both along the lakeside & in vegetated areas.

Beautiful park that goes from Lakeshore Boulevard West right down to the Lake Ontario Wetlands. Also has a very quaint skating rink for the public. Lots of wildlife in the wetlands area including many species of birds, snakes, Coyotes, foxes, rabbits etc. Great area for dog walking and just plain old nature hiking all year long.

This lakeshore park is a sanctuary for almost 300 migratory and resident bird species. It's popular with walkers, cyclists, kiteboarders and of course birders and those who love nature. There's a leash-free dog park but please keep your dog leashed outside that area. Please respect the laws: No fires, no littering, no fireworks. Please don't feed the wildlife. --Friends of Sam Smith Park

I am unable to review nature and God made creations. It's beyond words and every time I sit near the lakeshore it gives an amazing feeling of freshness and awesomeness. It's always great to merge with nature and spend as much time as you can. It gives positivity and makes you compel to admire the beauty of everything which earth mother inherits and God made the world with such preciousness.
