It has amazing trails, we went to explore the sun valley trail and then we took the lower don train where it has bridge on the river where you can take nice pictures. In addition to this, you can take your dogs as well. Should visit once in a life.

Amazing area and trails. Love all of the sights and although the trails can be challenging it's worth the trip just for the views. You can enter from Beechwood Drive and if the gate is open across the road there's parking at the bottom. We hiked in two different directions from the Beechwood and Crothers Woods sign and it was so nice out. Nice to see the Don River frozen over and interesting as it never seems to freeze over closer to the city. Lots of ducks along the way and they seem to enjoy sitting on the ice and jumping into the water occasionally. Great area for families, children and we even passed a family with a 4x4 stroller. Many bikes passing us even though the trails were covered in snow. People jogging, walking and bird watchers. Many dogs out enjoying time with there humans. Overall very interesting area and nice sights.

Ample amount of parking next to Loblaws. The trail consist of narrow pathways, up and down trails and lots of shaded areas. There were a lot of bikers along the path but everyone was courteous to just move to the side. There are a lot of pathways that bring you back to the beginning. It’s even more beautiful during the fall! Overall, enjoyed it.

Hidden gem. I’ve lived in this neighbourhood for my entire life and only last year discovered these magical trails. Accessible all year round; great for walking/hiking and mountain biking. Perfect for dog walks, bird watching or getting covered in mud on a trail run. Beautiful views and many access points. Can walk from Pottery Road or park at the Loblaws and enter at the trail head. So many options, and so many stunning views along the way throughout the year.

This is the perfect place! Trail Running, mountain biking, hiking, leisure walks and talking to the forest ( yes! ) A favourite for trail runners and loved by hundreds of super volunteers who wanted to make a difference to the valley. Volunteers plants native trees and tends to them every week also getting rid of so many invasive species such as dog strangling vines, garlic mustard etc. . A favourite of dog walkers for its almost never ending trails that connects to so many other in the city here in Toronto and beyond reaching as far as coburg. Anyways, if you want a stress free place, Crothers Woods is the place you need to visit. ENJOY!

Lots of cute trails, easy and leveled. The water makes it pretty. Download your maps, their instructions are a bit misleading.

Fantastic snowshoeing trails! Great for the dog off leash and hiking trails with decent elevation changes!

Beautiful trail in the spring, and definitely for the fall foliage. Bring your hiking shoes.

5star* the best, the toughest and the roughest MTB trail in Ontario. So many trails to explore on both side of the cliff. It will take a few hours or days experience all of them.

We went hiking here and liked some of the parts of the trail (foresty, shady); other parts were not so nice - just gravelly roads. There are several levels of trails, mainly designed for biking. Parking lot is big, however, it says it’s for Loblaw’s customers only. No restrooms available.

A wonderful trail very close to the city. A little hilly and chill once you enter the woods but very beautiful. I would not suggest going after it has rained as the trails will be muddy. Well worth it as an experience. Parking is nearby and free. The trail is largely free of people and there are plenty of spots for cool views.

This nature trail is a hidden gem near Sherbourne and younge intersection. It is at the intersection of south drive and glen road. It has beautiful ambiance that makes you feel taken away from the city noise and hustle bustle. It isn’t paved so make sure you have the right shoe on before you head out. I must say it has internal maps too and small water streams where you’d like to sit and relax. I usually go there on the mornings or early evenings to enjoy the view as it gets a little darker during the nights. Bikes are allowed here but only if you’ve got the right gear

Crothers Woods - Beautiful in the Spring and Fall This wooded trail is perfect for hiking during the spring/summer and fall seasons. There are trails for walking and biking but be careful of bikers. The trails are hilly. In the fall, you see a canopy of leaves above you and you walk in a canopy of fallen leaves. It is perfect for those looking for fall photographs.

Wonderful trail system that goes and goes and goes. It's easy to take a different path each time you go out. Interesting place with history. Nice to see people of all ages and all fitness levels able to enjoy the outdoors here.

Heard the traffic, saw the powerline and smelled some places, but it is wooded and by the Don River. There are many interconnected trails, some of trails were sceneric. The trails can get busy. Saw a biker who rode crazy fast on a narrow path. Saw some unleashed dogs. Walked the Crothers Woods, the Lower Don Parklands and the Cottonwood Flats, it was about 5km.

Trees are changing colour. I come at the beginning of October. I think if you come at late October or beginning of November, the colour should look more amazing.

It's really a nice place for hiking with some easy to intermediate level routes. It's muddy and not recommended during rains but if you like adventures, it's great. There's this small creek, it's really beautiful, just sit and enjoy the view. It's peaceful

Its sprawling hills, meandering river, and dense woods create a picturesque landscape, making it an ideal destination for hiking and mountain biking.

Just dug up this new bike trail, do go and check it out. I would definitely recommend sunscreen as it gets very sunny in the afternoon. It's a new trail diversion so be careful about the route and exercise caution. There is also a Loblaws nearby if you need to get some snacks or some quick hydration!

I love love love this trail! It's one of my favourites in the city as there's a secret Loblaws that I usually stop by either before or after the hike. Took some friends here and they loved it as well.

Beautiful little hike so close to the city! Multiple types of trails from wide gravel to just dirt and roots. Not super long but not short either. Lots of bike trials as well, you can walk them as well as long you are mindful to stay out of the way and take the road less traveled. Lots of mosquitos this time of year though, plan accordingly, I didn't and got bit accordingly πŸ˜‚

Nice place where to go for a walk, there are also many people who go with their bikes. We didn’t do all the trails, just some, there are different levels of difficulty from easy to intermediate. The surroundings are nice especially in this season where the leaves start changing colors to yellow and red. Nice view of part of the CN Tower and some buildings. There is also a train rail with a bridge that can be used as location for a romantic photoshoot (keep in mind that the train rail is still in function). Also there is the sound of the cars passing in distance so is not so immersive in the nature.

Its a trail located nearby DVP (toronto). Parkinf space is huge and no entry fees. People can opt cycles (prefer gear cycle) to travel in woods. Its a combination of many trails with silent water flows, bridges , rail crossing etc. Fall colors and the beauty is also an attraction. But the most attractive place is the end which is arranged as a cycle pit. People practise and use leisure time for cycling. Its a much recommended trail.

I like that its so close to downtown yet you are surrounded by nature once you step on the trail. There are a few trails connected to each other. Take a break from the city and enjoy the beautiful fall foliageπŸπŸƒπŸ‚ Plenty of parking near loblaws.

Lovely and best spot to go for golden fall colours. We went there in the afternoon, the pictures were taken at the end of the trail from the Millwood entrance. There is a water treatment facility near this trail, and produce noticeable bad smell.

Great trail with lots variety in slopes with lots of trees. It also connects to main other trails. I saw lovely trillium flowers here too. Just beware of your surroundings especially with lots of mountain bikes here! Thus, the paths are narrow. Despite that, highly recommended!

Pretty good for mt.biking and steep enough to get some mild workout during the hike. BUT really hard to navigate. they need to put some signs in the wood. The staircase is nice. Just walk along the street from the parking lot a bit north.
