Joey at Sherway is one of my favourite restaurant, some day you don’t need even book a table, you can just walked into the bar and seated are always available. Food and drinks here are yummy. If you like Magarita, Joey has best Spicy Magarita I’ve ever had. Service was quick and friendly

Had a group dinner last night!! Amazing servers Maya and Mike! Food was great only a few pictures of some of our meals but ALL meals were fantastic! Great atmosphere and great COVID protocols! Can’t wait to return

Excellent tastes and experiences. We came during happy hour on a Thursday night and were able to be seated right away. Although there were some mistakes made with the drinks, they were rectified quickly and even adjusted on the bill which we appreciated. Will definitely be back as we can always trust the quality and service will be great at Joey

I've been here twice and both times the music has been so loud that you end up shouting at your dinner companion. If you're young, it's fine, but as an older person, let's be honest, it sucks.They would do well to get some sound absorbing elements added to their restaurant design/layout. It's unpleasant to have to shout over dinner music. Some better lights over their booths would be a nice adjustment as well. This visit they provided free champagne, which was a nice touch, but kinda sucky if you have to drive, as you can't partake. But it's a nice perk considering the price of the meals. Service was fine. The waitresses are always pleasant but never really engaging. Food was delicious and fresh tasting.

2022.02.06 A quick visit for a quick drink. I love the place. Big space, multistory levels, excellent service, and great atmosphere. It was busy but at 50% capacity. Nice bar area with screen to follow sports games.

Great atmosphere. Small portion of starters. Mediterranean bowl was a little salty but overall food was decent. We didnt like "that pretty" cocktail. They did a beautiful job with the birthday cake presentation. Definitely recommend!

We ordered the mini burgers and chips & guacamole to start, I have to admit they were both absolutely delicious. Our mains were equally delicious. The mini donuts for dessert was perfect ending to a great meal. It was really busy therefore it did take time to get served.

I cannot give a high enough review to this restaurant! I have dined here several times, and each time brought a new group of friends to show them what a wonderful place this is. Each time I’ve dined here I have been absolutely knocked over with the food taste and quality, and don’t get me started on their egg yolk margaritas. From the moment you step inside you feel the hip vibe of the space, while also getting a lovely upscale flavor as well. Over my past various visits the staff have always made me and my guests feel like we were the number one priority. There is a small army of people running around with food and drinks, and even though you may interact with 3-4 servers / staff throughout the visit, there is never any confusion or miscommunication which happens nearly everywhere else. This visit we ordered the burger slider trio and the homemade guacamole- out of this world tasty. I’m not even joking when I say these sliders were melt in your mouth tasty, and the guacamole was done to perfection and paired great with the fresh chips. If I didn’t leave nearly two hours away in the US, I would be here weekly. I’m already looking forward to my next trip here, and it hasn’t even been a week.

I had booked a reservation for a client lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail that was given by our server Eric the entire time we were there. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine - a welcomed unexpected treat before we placed our order. Any questions were answered with ease and a few small adjustments to the entrees were made without issue - the food was delicious and served timely after ordering. The atmosphere is inviting and illuminated by both natural light and modern decorative fixtures. My only concern was that the music was a touch too loud as it was a bit difficult to properly enjoy a conversation with the person sitting across the table. I had also hosted a birthday event here a few months ago and the entire staff that we dealt with that evening was extremely attentive as well. The night ambiance is certainly a vibe and I would recommend booking a reservation in advance to ensure you get the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant! It’s one of my new favourites and I look forward to exploring the menu!!

Overall, I can't recommend JOEY sherway enough one for my fav. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a special celebration with friends and family, this restaurant ticks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience. The view is immaculate.

We went in on Boxing Day, servers seating us were very engaging and team service was very prompt, our waitress was pleasant, food was all tasty. Place offers a bit of everything. The venue is gorgeous and very big. Will be going back when we are in town.

So booked a last minute( less than 24 hours because Cactus Club was giving me the run around) get together with 20 people tonight. From the event planner who actually took the time to listen to my story to the service , and atmosphere , everything was amazing. It was my first time to a Joeys and I was pleasantly surprised. All the appetizers were delicious and my main was the blackened chicken - so juicy and spiced just right. I never had to ask for refills / drink because they were asking me. Our server was courteous , prompt and made it about us. Honestly when we arrived a bit early and the tables were not ready they gave us each a complementary glass of champagne. So this is what you call service ! We definitely will be coming back! Thanks Joeys for a fun evening

Such a good go to spot that consistently has great food and service. Definitely on the more expensive end for nice chain restaurants but worth it. Got the ravioli with prawns and steak and would TOTALLY get it again - it was so delicious and the perfect size! Had the cheesecake which was perfect while other people had the lava cake and mentioned it to be super sweet.

My experience at Joey was overall great. Their food selection is quite mixed so it kind of serves any craving you have. They’ve got from curry based dishes to classic American style and even vegan, gluten free options. The creamy pasta with seafood is to die for, and their maldon cake is absolutely delicious. Their cocktails and wine options are good too. The place is big and offers different kind of table experiences, from family tables to bar dining and casual smaller tables at the second level with very nice natural light. They also have warmers all around so it feels cozy all the time. Definitely looking forward to go back for some more!

Super delicious food and friendly service! Liam was very easy to talk to and very jovial. You won’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Had to wait almost 45 mins on a Saturday afternoon but it was totally worth it. Truffle fries, lettuce wraps, Korean fried cauliflower Food - 10/10 Service - 9/10 Ambience 9/10

Went to joeys today for lunch, the food was excellent, the shrimp lettuce wraps where bursting with flavour, a little spicy although. The hamburger was omg delicious it was not that processed meat garbage, it was fresh chopped sirloin full of flavour, the bun and extras like cheese and mushrooms make this an excellent choice. It’s highly recommended. Our waitress Ousta was amazing, very polite and was an excellent experienced waitress. Thanks Mark & Shelagh

Six of us including 2 kids, walked in on a super busy Saturday night, without any reservations. They gave us a table after not even 10 min wait. Great service. All tables were full, and our order came in a very reasonable time. Kids food was surprisingly very good, chicken tender was excellent that even my picky 5 year old kid finished her food. They also have Cocktail for kids, amazing. Great service, great food, reasonable price, Family friendly. Definitely recommend it

Great service, delicious food and pretty vibes My usual meal that I get every time is their famous Bombay butter chicken 👌🏻👌🏻 Last time I tried the crunchy chicken sandwich and was SO good. Their 🥗 (kale with peanuts) is delicious! If you like chocolate m, you have to try they molten cake 🍫👌🏻👌🏻

Went for a birthday dinner and it was cute that they provided a special birthday drink for ALL guests. The atmosphere is trendy and truly a vibe. But, it always seems crowded and they don't take reservations, so not great if you are trying to plan an event. The bathrooms are hard to find, walkways are tight and have random steps, so not great for accessibility needs. Prices are high for the value and quality of food. Better location for drinks. Service was decent, not impressive.

Very nice staff! They definitely elevated the experience. Blacken chicken was crispy on the outside and so tender inside! Sushi and steak was delicious. The wine was also great, haven’t had this one before but would definitely try it again.

Every time I come here, I’m never disappointed. I love the food, drinks and vibe! Servers are always on point with menu recommendations. My main favourite is the steak + sushi combo (salmon option). For starters, the roasted corn guacamole with tortilla chips, truffle fries, Japanese gyoza, fried cauliflower and lettuce wraps are delicious. The upstairs dining area is quite cold in the winter compared to downstairs but it has a nice open floor concept. The bar area is heated, which was helpful, but I recommend dining downstairs if you get cold easily.

Food was good, but more options would be more perfect. For a table of 6 you would be looking at an hour wait on weekend dinner. So make sure you have a backup plan whether to shop around or prep some snacks for the kids. The cod was soft and well seasoned, with the curry sauce it was good. The torched sushi is pretty good too, if you sit near the kitchen you would see the girl non stop torching sushi, then you would know how popular it is. The steak was delicious and the ravioli was always good. Truffle fries can never go wrong and dessert was sooooo good. I wish they had some non-dairy options, but no complaints.

The atmosphere was great, however it took 30min to get our to-go desserts, and the way it was packed was not great. Our server Julian was great - very friendly and bubbly. Due to a party table, we were stuck waiting for the bill for more than 20min, which we were not happy about. The food otherwise was good, with the exception of the steak being well done, when it was asked for it to he medium-well. Butter chicken was great. Service would have been 5 stars however due to long waits it has been decreased. We should have been out the door at 12:10AM, we left at 12:30AM.

Joey’s is pretty consistently good and their steak with torched salmon sushi is our go-to! Prices are a bit on the higher end and they’re normally busy so service isn’t super fast, but staff are friendly and it usually hits the spot. It’s a great spot for casual drinks and food.

Food was great, steak almost had that off the bbq taste. Maybe not ideal for some but I really enjoyed it. The Ravioli Bianco was fantastic, especially the sauce. Definitely wouldn't call the shrimp in the dish, prawns though! Our server Claudia did a great job as well and made our birthday celebration, a memorable one. Thank you. Do yourself a favor and order the Lava Cake! Delicious.

Great staff. Good food with good portion size. It would have been nice when you come yo a place like Joey and not have to ask gor cutlery or side plates… very opposite of classy… I would also recommend the server not where heavy perfume or cologne… it makes people nauseated….

I had a special event of 80 guests at Joey’s rooftop patio Sherway Gardens. The venue is amazing. Inside brought in once the retractable roof is opened up. Sara, Liam, and the team took care of all the details, customizing and adapting to meet the needs of each guest so we could enjoy ourselves worry free. Champagne was hand served to each guest. Flowers cut for centrepieces. Really no detail spared. Lunch took a bit of time to be served. But the vibe and cocktails kept us busy. The food…vege burgers and truffle fries especially once served had guests in smiles. Highly recommend this location. Thank you so much for an unforgettable sip and savour special time!

Went on a Wednesday night, not too much of a wait. Ambience was nice. Food was awesome! My favourite was Szechuan Chicken Lettuce wraps, they were full of bursting flavours. Sushi was nice too and the parmesan truffle fries are a must try.

Great experience during my dine in on this restaurant. The receptionist was quick in seating me to my table. The server was also right on the spot to receive the order. I ordered a spaghetti with a toast. It was so yummy. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

Food was delicious!! I ordered the Blackened Chicken. I was immediately amazed by its presentation and it tasted just as good as it looked. Furthermore, I loved the vibe of the restaurant! Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back here!!
