Another pathetic Hakka restaurant! I’ve visited this restaurant today and the food was good for people who really doesn’t know the taste of food. There’s no taste first of all. Every single dish we ordered was dissatisfied. Chicken sesame was almost like a eating a rubber soak in sugar syrup - only rubber battered chicken skin (no meat) Beef and broccoli we have to ask for beef as there was hardly five thin tripe’s of beef was served. First we clarified whether it’s beef and broccoli as it was only broccoli soaked in soya sauce. Fried calamari we could play rubber shooting as it was so rubbish where there’s no marinating as well as the calamari was so rubbery. Egg fried rice - there’s no egg in it and the just a coloured rice which was not even mixed properly with undercooked carrots and green peas. Chicken wonton was so pathetic that we felt like over fried batter and just a milligram of chicken in it and no taste. They priced most of their food items above 10$ plus service charge too. Please do not visit this pathetic highway robbery restaurant while there are plenty to enjoy Hakka within near by. Refer to my pictures too. Total disaster experience. BIG NO!!!!! 👎🏻

I wish that I can give this restaurant 0 star as it is a total waste of time and money. We placed an order for take out. The food was completely stale. Totally not at all satisfied. We stopped having it just after few bites..if you guys are reading this do yourself a favour by not going to this place.. and for the manager or the owner who operates the place- we are spending money on it not a piece of plastic!!!

Portions are great for the price and service is quick. Soups here are great. Food is good, nothing bad about it but I just feel like they use a lot of oil because of which you can’t really taste anything once your mouth is coated with fat. Also some dishes like Hakka Noodles have a lot of MSG (amount more than what would be considered normal).

Worst experience and service. Came for birthday party dinner. Ordered 4 entree and all were not up to mark. Paneer Chilli gravy doesn’t have any gravy in it and Spicy Garlic gravy with Tofu doesn’t have any garlic taste. Hakka Noodles were properly cooked. In addition to this, server shut down all fans even when customers were still having dinner. Zero hospitality and worst taste ever for Chinese cuisine.

Not a good quality at all Don’t get the Veg Manchow soup, we ordered a large soup and it’s missing the actual manchow flavor lol.

This is not the first time I’m visiting here, my go to order is vegetable Manchurian balls, chicken fried rice but today we order Garlic hot chicken, vegetable noodles plus my go to order. The food is good not like excellent but yes these guys are the best in Scarborough, so if you guys are looking for an Indian style hakka place this should be the one you are looking for. Must try. Highly recommended.

Hakka Noodles with Indian spices mixed , Indo-Hakka Noodles. Lots of varieties to try and good quantity for the price. Place is very busy but staff is quick and serves fast.

Great experience dining here. The food is hot and fresh, made quick without a long wait, and very tasty. No air conditioning here, but there are fans which suffice. The prices on meals have gone up about 40% in the past few years, but I'm glad the food is still great! Would definitely recommend for any food enthusiasts or people who enjoy Chinese cuisine.

Nice food, nice people, maintaining covid check with every dine in customers. Asking for 2nd dose confirmation. Now coming to the food 😋 We started with Chicken Lollipop and it was exactly what I was looking for. Those who are from kolkata its exactly same taste. Then Chicken manchurian had a beautiful blend of spices where you can feel the flavors separately and its good too. We ordered house special hakka noodles. I was expecting it to be a little thinner but the taste wise I pass it. Lastly Bombay prawn, it was more a appetizer but was spicy and combined the taste of Chinese and Indian spices. I felt it a little salty but wasn't too bad. Overall I am happy with the food and service. Would like to go back again. Specially east India people will definitely like it.

I love the filling chicken pakora and house special fried rice. It is said in menu as spicy but make sure to ask for mild if you cant take spicy. The only downside was the pad thai where the noodle was undercooked. The server was nice enough to let us change the dish. Anyway, pad thai isnt good to eat due to the sauce they used, please see the photo for your reference.

Ordered mushroom fried rice, beef and green beans were too salty, Mongolian chicken was tasty and the seafood hot and sour soup was delish(couldn't even wait to click a photo) Only downfall is they don't offer steam rice with the entrees and they include 15% service charge on the bill- so be alert not to over tip! Would suggest this place for take out instead of dine in.

Second time eating here and food was really tasty! Bug serving fkr the price as well. The servers and managers were all courteous and polite. They have limited capacity inside the store and have been following COVID protocols.

The soups were well cooked. We tried chicken corn soup, and sweet and sour soup. We also tried chilli chicken and chicken chaw mein, both of which had more oil than our liking. The chicken was well cooked and marinated. The noodles had good balance of spices and sauces . Overall the experience was good.

BEWARE of the service charge! There is a 16% charge added to our lunch. They RUSHED me to pay as soon as we finished our meal. The restaurant was 80% empty but they seemed like they wanted us to leave already. They gave me the bill and pushed the moneris to me to pay without even giving me a few seconds to look at the bill. Makes me think this is a shady tactic to get you to quickly and mistakenly tip again since there is another tipping prompt on the machine. 1/5 stars for service. Otherwise, the food is good. Wouldn't recommend the General Tso's chicken because it was a little too sweet and goopy for my liking. The Bombay paneer is great, solid 4/5. It's a dry spice dish and the paneer was tougher than expected which hardened more as the dish cooled down but the flavour was great. The Hakka noodles were a little disappointing in the amount of vegetables and seasoning but still tasty, 3/5. Portions are smaller than what they look like in photos btw. They have $10 lunch specials which seem to be good value but only Monday to Friday. Wouldn't come back for weekend or dinner.

I would say 3.5 stars. I ordered chilli chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. I would rate 4 stars for rice and 3 for chilli chicken. Spice was not enough i would say. It could be more crispier. But the chickennis good.

I personally prefer this restaurant over other Indo-Chinese restaurants just for Veggie Manchurian (Dry&Gravy both). Other than Manchurian, all the fried rice dishes were delicious. Noodles are with regular taste what we get every where in GTA. Service is very fast, they take hardly 15 mins to serve your order. Highly recommended if you’re near by and what to have Indo-Chinese food.

Arrived here for the lunch special. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and general Tao. The lunch special is $10 and comes with rice and chicken with a spring roll. Overall, it was a good meal, not much to complain about. I also had ordered the chicken corn soup, for which the chicken was a bit mushy and undercooked. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Excellent customer service, great clean environment, convenient location. We ordered dry okra, chilly chicken, Bollywood paneer, Bombay shrimp with veggie noodles. The spice level was perfect and every dish had its own distinct taste. Highly recommended for when you're looking for a higher ($$$) end Hakka restaurant.

Ordered from this place a few times. The first few time the service and food was quite good. However, the last time we were able to dine in! Food was excellent and the service was good as well.

This location gives more rice than the Warden location, which is nice. More companies should fill the box with rice. It looks cheap when it's half full. Good Bombay chicken here. The chilli chicken here was off though. Food quality is comparable to the Warden location.

Average food ,, Bollywood paneer was over fried ,, chicken Manchurian was too dry and hard , veg noodles were ok , should be more thinner ..

Hakka Legend has great food! I love the curry chicken spring rolls. The staff are very friendly and they provide great customer service. My mom and sister both have celiac disease and this establishment goes out of their way to let them know what they can make for them that is gluten free and always make sure that they take great care when preparing their food. The chicken fried rice and chili chicken (dry) are very good. Glad this restaurant was recommended to me.
