Firstly, this is not your normal seafood restaurant, prices here are really high as they cater to the higher paying customers. Their focus is on large, huge lobsters and crabs so you got it, the larger they are, the rarer they are, the more expensive they are. The expensive seafood here has no fixed price, they are priced by weight and size, so read the menu carefully to see which ones suit your need. They do have many set menus where they charge a fixed unit price per pound for lobsters and include some dishes so if you find one that suits your palette, you can request for the size of the lobster or crab to go with it. The one we got was way way bigger than my feet (maybe I don't have a large foot but it's really huge). The lobsters were mostly fried to crispy on the outside with the coating but inside is still relatively moist. The parts nearer the shell tends to be a little dry. One thing I do wonder is why do they fry for everyone? Is it possible to steam them so that the original flavour can be tasted? I reckon the problem with steaming is that once it cools, it is not as nice whereas when it's fried, it can last longer tasting good. In addition, they do include a whole lot of fries in there so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The other dishes are pretty good as well, fried rice, vegetables and soup but usually customers just rave about the huge lobsters and crabs. Would recommend coming here if it's to impress people or bring non locals for a really good impressive experience but be prepared to pay upwards of CAD 500 for a group of 6.

Yesterday was supposed to be a memorable dining experience at our favorite famous restaurant, one we'd frequented multiple times with great satisfaction. I had eagerly brought our relatives from England, the US, and Montreal, anticipating the same exquisite flavors and impeccable service. However, as we savored the dishes, it became evident that something had changed. The food quality had decreased, leaving us all disappointed. The exquisite flavors we once enjoyed seemed to have vanished. The quality of the cooking has gone down. The crab in egg white is flavorless. The lobster tower now comes with fries, whereas before, it was salty egg yolk with fried bits and tiny fried sardines, which were very tasty. The fried rice is not as fragrant as it used to be. However, the service was still very good. It was disheartening to witness the decline in a place we held in such high regard. The price has gone up as well. I understand the inflation contributes to the change. It was still very disappointing especially when sharing it with our international guests. I don't think it worth the price anymore.

Delicious food albeit pricey. I came with a group of 4 and got the "King Crab and Lobster Dinner for 4" combo. It's supposed to be $488 but we paid about $80 more because the lobsters and king crab they picked out for us weighed more than what was included in that price. The dishes were good and make for great photo ops. Although it might be obvious, just come for the seafood. I think they have some beef and pork dishes, but not much. Also, compared to other Chinese restaurants that usually have sweet soup at the end, this place only gave one macaron each. Kinda of a let down considering the price; it would've been nice to have a better finish. Although it's pretty pricey, the portions are big and we took home a lot of leftovers. I'd recommend this place for big celebrations once in a while!

The food here was amazing! Super flavourful, good portions, well seasoned and I never imagined to eat seafood in so many varying forms in one sitting. We had the $500 family meal. Just beware the crab is by weight and they will offer you their bigger crabs that will cost you more than the set price. Just keep that in mind. Servers don’t speak great English and come off a little rude, but I wouldn’t say that it ruined out experience by any means.

Great place for seafood and family dinners. Even going with a large group of friends to devour a mountain of lobster! They did raise the price from before but the portions are still large. They go by the weight of the seafood so there's no fixed pricing but they do have crab combo options or lobster combo options. There use to be the dessert soup at the end but all we got is macaroons and there was only a dot of filling in the center. A little dissapointing but over all the mains were good. They did follow covid protocol so that was great!

If you like lobster and crab, this is a place to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant is expensive but it is a great experience. They only accept cash or debit. Huge car park and the restaurant is big but always filled. There are floor to ceiling tanks filled with lobsters. I have been here twice and the service is great and the food and the experience enjoyable. They have set menus to choose from. Part of the experience is they bring your lobster or crab to the table where you have the opportunity to take a picture with your “catch”. The food is then freshly prepared and served. If your “catch” is larger you pay the difference than the size/weight in the set menu. It’s better to come in a larger group. It would be great if you can cook your lobster in multiple styles vs one style. There are very popular for their Lobster Mountain Dinners. Another group had the huge tower while we were there.

First time here! You need to reserve in advance. We ordered the meal for 6 people around 500$. Lobsters and side dishes were amazing. However, it is pricey. The pork bone soup was great as well as the black sesame dessert. Lobster dishes were deep fried though so it is not that healthy. It was a great experience for celebrations or special events. Your clothing will smell like fried batter so make sure you are not dressed up too fancy.

Wonderful place for dinner with family and friends. A bit pricey but the food is so satisfying good. Seafood is very fresh. The taste is very good. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. My friend has food allergies. They did their best to serve. Definitely I will go again.

Let me start off by saying that this is not a cheap restaurant. It cost same or even more than some fancy french cuisine that you can find downtown. As a frame of reference, our meal cost about $130 per person. Taste: Food are super fresh, and the way they prepare the lobster and crab legs are really good! Very tasty and full of flavour. But that was the extend of the tasty food. The other dishes all lacked in flavour, perhaps is to preserve the taste of fresh seafood, but a small pinch of salt in the fried rice or the veggies wouldn't hurt. Quality: Once again, freshest seafood you can find! But the fried rice is... lacking. It says crab fried rice, but despite my best efforts, the only indication of crab is the shell that's on top, and it's been picked clean like by a gang of mice, there are no meat left! Like where has it all gone? The fried rice had 0 crab taste. Now the lobster tower, it was garnished with deep fired fishes before, now it's just fries... And the price has gone up. I understand that there is inflation, but there are some limits... Price: So from their menu, all their seafood have a weight, and if your is heavier, they will charge you accordingly. And big surprise, your seafood will ALWAYS be heavier than what's advertised, so you will always end up paying more than the menu price. In our case, we paid an extra of $150 for the crab and lobster on a $300 menu. So will I come back? Maybe if I'm craving for some super fresh seafood, but I would think hard before making the decision... Should you go? If you have never been, a good experience for sure!

The seafood at this place is soooo fresh. I highly recommend the Alaskan crab and lobster; they have unique preparation methods that cater to both Asians and people from other regions. The pricing is relatively reasonable and transparent, but they don't accept credit cards. The ambiance is cozy, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family. I wouldn't recommend it for small groups as you'd miss out on many delicious options. They also offer free parking.

This is really worth to go for seafood restaurant in Toronto. First to be here invited my friend. The environment, food, taste and service are impressive. Especially the lobster taste is so fresh and delicious. So many people are here , good business. Strongly recommend to be here for family and friends gathering. Won’t be disappointed!

Since 2018, it has been a tradition for my family and I to go to this restaurant on New Years Eve. My experience here was pleasant and very nice. I loved the tea, the sliced beef, and I was particularly fond of the lobster. At the end, the desert was macarons! The only thing is, however, some foods were a bit oily. This was expected and not a big problem. I was impressed by this restaurant, and I would definitely recommend this place~

Went here for a work-related dinner and was not disappointed. They start off by showing you the live king crab/lobster they're about to cook for you - where you can take pics with it if you want (we did not). We ordered the combo for 5 and it was incredible - so much food and so many leftovers. Service here was incredible and they were so on top of changing dirty plates for clean plates and our main waitress was very attentive to our needs. Would definitely go back for a special occasion, as prices were high.

Absolutely incredible place! The atmosphere is amazing, the concept is unique and the food is outstanding! First place your order. Then your live seafood is brought out for you so that you can inspect it. Then its cooked to perfection. Obviously its an expensive place but definitely well worth it!! We got the Lobster tower and do not regret it one bit. My self and two friends ate like kings and had plenty of leftovers. Definitely prepare yourself before coming here and loosen that waistband when you sit down because you'll need the extra room!! Definitely a once in a while treat, but will for sure be back!!

Came here for dinner for friend's birthday and had a good experience. If you love seafood, you will love this place, their seafood is fresh since there are live tanks. Would recommend you order their set combs if you are with a group since there is a good variety of dishes. You most definitely have to order the lobster and king crab mountains if you come here!

A seafood lovers dream! Once you come in you will be surrounded by tanks filled with lobster and crab all around the perimeter of the restaurant. All dishes tasted fresh and very flavourful. The service was impeccable, very attentive wait staff. Nice that you can bring your own wine, as the wine list is limited. Stand out dishes were the beef, steamed bass fish, and maggi style lobster. Price was fair for the amount of seafood provided. We will be back!

I don't really understand the hype I've seen over this place... I guess you can take a picture with the giant crab when they bring it over to your table to show you what will be cooked (cost is based on market price x weight), and there's that giant lobster mountain you can order...but the taste of the food wasn't anything special, in my opinion, though not bad. You can get similar flavours in many other Chinese restaurants around the GTA for a much cheaper price, hence why I'm giving this place 3 stars. The cost didn't seem to be worth it's quality. The atmosphere is also like any other Chinese restaurant uptown, a large dining room with lots of round tables, and some fish tanks with the live animals that they will eventually serve. The service was good though, as the servers were attentive, and quick on all requests. One key thing to keep in mind is that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR DEBIT.

I've heard people saying that Lobster Mountain is a must-try. But some say it's overpriced, and the lobsters aren't very fresh. The Hong Kong style lobster was amazingly fresh and large. However, it didn't taste very Hong Kong. The sauce was a bit too sweet, overpowering the original taste of the lobster. The oysters were fresh, but I didn't like how the sauce was separated from them, and the coating (炸粉) was too thick. They were salty but not very flavorful. The fried rice was good, but it lacked what we call in Chinese "鑊氣" The bill came out to be $72 dollars per person, which was reasonable, but I believe there are better Chinese restaurants with cheaper prices. If you're here for the ambiance and photo opportunities then this is the place for you.

The lobster mountain signature dish is their must have. I had it in May and keep thinking about it and had to came back to have it again. The lobster are super fresh and the fries are very yummy too. If you pick one of the seafood meal in the menu, the price is reasonable. We had the meal package including lobster mountain, stream crab with wine sauce, stream fish, and snow pea leafs with garlic sauce. All the seafood are very fresh and cooked to perfection. Make sure to make reservations, the wait is long even on a weekday. This place is very popular amount Chinese and a must-go place in Toronto.

I was a little worried at first. The place didn't look like much from the outside - but, wow, It was bustling on the inside with lobsters and crab tanks lining the walls all around. We were met professionally and seated quickly. The waitress was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The excitement ramped up when they brought out the lobster and king crab and invited us to take a picture with them. It's a little stagy, but kinda fun nonetheless. Then the food came. And came. And came. Each dish was more impressive than the last. Everything we had was delicious, though the best, in my opinion, was the king crab in Maggi sauce. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. Admittedly, the price here is not cheap, but it's definitely an experience worth trying.

I have been to their previous location and really like this restaurant. This was my first time to visit this new location. My overall experience was great. The decor, service and food was excellent. Although it was pricey but they definitely make you feel prestige dining there. Their signature crab and lobster mountain were the best. It’s highly recommended if you visit Toronto. If you can afford it, this is definitely a must try. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance! They are very busy and get full house everyday. It is impossible to get a table if you walk in. I can’t wait to go again for our next special occasion.

Our second time here and I'm so glad to say that their service and quality of food remained exactly the same as they were pre-covid times. This time we got the Hong Kong Lobster package feast for 4ppl. This includes the Cantonese black chicken soup (not pictured), steamed sea bass, stir fried pea tips, lobster fried rice, and 5lb Hong Kong style lobster mountain. The Cantonese style black chicken soup is divine -- they put aged orange peels in the soup as well as Goji berries just like the Traditional Chinese Medicine do. My family LOVED the steamed sea bass -- it's super fresh and the timing of the cooking/steaming is exactly on point. The meat itself is sweet, tender, and juicy. The soy sauce makes a great balance to the fish. The pea tips are refreshing and a great palate changer. The fried rice is really good by itself but both of these dishes get ignored when you taste the lobster mountain itself. The best thing about this is definitely the lobster mountain. We spoke to the waiter and he told us that the lobster have their own frying oil and is apart from the frying oil for crabs, as well as the oil that is for the potatoes. And this is exactly what makes them so great: since the oils are separate for each ingredient, the seafoods are promised to keep their own purity and taste. 5/5 as always!

Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant is the real deal. We came here for a birthday and weren’t let down. Although we didn’t have reservations I’d really suggest you make reservations as they get busy really quickly. All the staff are really nice and make suggestions on the different options. We all loved the dishes we got. It was very nice to see how they truly put an effort to be hospitable and ensure the best experience. If you haven’t been here it’s definitely Worth a visit.

Got take out a few weeks ago. 4lb lobster, oysters and beef. Very efficient system. The food is ready in like 15 minutes. It's pricey, but great service and high quality food. No complaints.

I pretty enjoyed eating here. The food itself was excellent except crabs with steamed eggs. The server was friendly but she seems like no cares after taking our order. I was waiting almost 10 minutes to get a water. Overall, I liked the food so I will do take out next time instead sitting at the restaurant.

The place is busy for a reason so make reservations beforehand. Live seafood made when ordered. Different styles of cooking. We ordered the Lobster lunch in Hong Kong style (Lobster mountain). 8lb Lobster tower came with French fries. It served 5 people. It's definitely an experience as they bring the live lobster to your table where you can hold and take pictures with it. If you're worried about safety, don't be. The tables are spaced out and a temperature scanner is by the front door. The only disappointment, more like sadness, is you're surrounded by tanks of lobsters squished in tanks.

Great restaurant for lobster and crab lovers. The food was delicious and was prepared quite fast. The service was acceptable. The staff could be friendlier, but they were efficient in arranging our food at the centre and even packaged our food for us for takeout. The lobster and crab are quite pricey but it’s what you would expect from a restaurant specializing in those. There is sufficient free parking outside.

Ok, so this is a seafood place for special occasions. Specialty is the lobster tower and fresh crab. Stick to the lobster tower (go HongKong style) and King Crab ($65/lb), do not go for the Vancouver crab (cheaper) . fantastic stuff.. all the other stuff is not super great. Service is mediocre unless you speak Cantonese. Also they do not accept credit cards. It will cost about $125/person if you go for it. Worth the experience.

Legit King Crab and Giant Lobster Chinese cuisine! Food was great! Service was great! Spent $980 for 4 ppl including drinks, we upgraded the size of crab and lobster to 8.5lb and 4.5lb. Absolutely delicious feast! Have returned and will return again.. Probably one of the top places to eat king crab in my opinion.. the most selection of size… since they have maybe 100+ live king crabs on-site..

Amazing dinner. They let you hold the lobster for a photo op. Also give you gloves to eat the food as it's a bit hard to eat with utensils. Definitely order the lobster, I think you have to anyway. It is a pricey restaurant and is meant to be enjoyed with multiple people. My parents went two days in a row - that's how good this place is.

  • 4/5 Luisa H. 10 months ago on Google
The food is very tasty! That's for sure. We ordered 2 lobsters 🦞🦞, made in different cooking styles. The food comes out super fast (almost like if it was pre-made. However, ALL servers looked unhappy and stressed, like if someone died. They serviced us well, but no one smiled even once, the 2-3 times we we there this week. I will suggest the combo $168 for soup, lobster, pork, fish, veggies, and dessert. Enough for 4 people. The lobsters were fresh and full of meat. Super delicious. They are always super busy, book your table in advance. Will recommend 10/10

It's a fascinating restaurant, surrounded by a lifetime supply of lobsters and crabs. Service was good and it was fun to see and hold those amazing 6lbs lobsters! Plenty of options in terms of meal sets. Just be aware they will do their best to upsell you as much as possible. However, food wise there's much to be desired. There's good amount of meat in the fresh seafood but way too much starch atttached to the seafood except for fried rice or noodles. The veggies were old so chewier. Friend rice and noodles were lacking in taste which may be good given there was mo ajinomoto used but seriously, there's little seafood taste and bland. Prices were decent for the novelty of the lobster mountain. I would still recommend to try it once at least.

This is our favorite foodie destination in Canada and Eastern United States, especially for seafood. The restaurant features lobsters from North Atlantic, king crabs and Dungeness crabs from the North Pacific, Cantonese dim sums and roasted pig and roasted duck. The restaurant management make sure you don’t have credit card debt, your meal must be paid in CASH only. The King Crabs and lobsters can be fried with garlic, or steamed with ginger and onions, delicious both way. We all enjoyed a fabulous meal.

This place is big. Everyone comes here and spends big money to eat gigantic lobster and king crab. We didn’t want any lobster and only went for the king crab 4 course. Includes soup and a vegetable dish. The first was steamed king crab, pretty bland. Second was spicy honey over a bed of fries. So good. The best I’ve had. Third was salty egg fried. Lastly is fried rice, meh. The vegetables were good. Free dessert was bland. Recommended coming here to try. They have a whole wall of wine. Walls and walls of seafood.

1st Review: 1/5 Worst customer service experience ever. I made a reservation a month in advanced for my birthday dinner today for a party of 12. However when we called in today and asked if we could move the time up by half an hour, they said they don’t have a reservation for us and will call back in an hour if anyone cancels. I’m not sure why they bothered taking down our information for a reservation if they clearly don’t keep track of it. Also we made a reservation well in advanced and they messed up, why they didn’t even bother to apologize and just brushed us off and said they will call us back if someone cancels just baffles me. I would never dine here again in the future or recommend this place to anyone for an important event where you require a reservation. I would rather take my money elsewhere. Updated review: 3/5 After an hour of constantly calling back and yelling they managed to get us a table for 8:45pm. We ordered the King crab and lobster combo for 10-13 people. Paid an extra $200 for a bigger King Crab since they said they don’t have any smaller ones left. The food was delicious, I would definitely come back for that. Especially the lobster and king crab. I might opt to get the king crab steamed next time instead of deep fried though since the lobster is already fried so the meal was quite heavy. They serve macarons for dessert now, I would have preferred the sweet soup. The service was alright, quite slow. Tip: double/triple check a few days before and the day before that you have a reservation. Don’t come here for the service, come for the food.

Definitely a place to go if you want to try fresh seafood. However, it is expensive and extravagant. Nice and pleasant restaurant surrounded by aquariums to celebrate any family's celebrations. One minus is that the level of greasy in the lobster dish and king crab dish plus the fried. Other than that, it was a good experience to have the freshest seafood.
