This grocery store is beautiful and very well stocked. It has a wine store and a Starbucks inside as well. There are cool carts for kids and a few choices for people with physical disabilities. There are tons of pre-made meals, hot food buffet, awesome salad bar, fresh oven-fired pizza, a beautiful bakery, a deli, a fish market, gift section, flowers, plants and more. It's impeccably clean too. There is a fair amount of organize choices well. Things can be a bit pricey but the quality and freshness is amazing so in my opinion, it's generally worth it. There is free parking and it's located in a plaza with a lot of good companies. I'd recommend.

Longo's Leaside is one of the finest food markets in this area hands down! Had my Mom''s Birthday Cake made. This was made and used Real Cream. Very hard to find these days! Everyone else is eating petrolipe products that are edible. Not here! Great Birthday Cake! Thanks to all!

Big selection of good quality foods and fresh takeout. Stopped by just for the freshly made pizza as I've heard good things. They are massive! Takes 15 minutes. My only criticism is I think the baker rushed it but I would come back to try another recipe.

Likely the nicest Longos around the GTA. Glad they kept the original structure which was an old train yard built in 1919 so it's over a 100 yrs old. The industrial look is maintained throughout with exposed steel beams, massive industrial windows and exposed brick. But the highlight for me is way up, look up towards the ceiling and you'll see wooden beams that's been there since the beginning. This is a great example of a heritage building properly restored. As for the actual grocery, it's nice too with fresh fruits, meats, and seafood where monkfish is even available. A Starbucks and a second floor eat-in section that overlooks the grocery area makes for a unique setup.

everything is 20% expensive than regular store. this is for the rich people they like playing the extra if it makes you feel special

I love the customer service at this location. It’s just grocery shopping but you don’t realize how much of an impact a smile, genuine interactions, and top notch customer service has on your day. I have been shopping here for over a year and I always leave smiling because every single person from the staff on the floor, cash, and cart collectors are so pleasant. There are many stores closer to where I live but i choose to drive further to come here. Kudos to the staff!!

Superior customer service and a great selection of everything you need. No worries about that, because everything moves here compared to Sobeys. I would recommend this to all. Smart Consumers that want the best value for their $ Highly Recommended!

Beautiful Longos location in the Leaside Village area. We'll stocked, bright and spacious, high ceiling loft style building that gives a pleasant feel. Everything inside, from Starbucks to a loft bar/restaurant. They also host birthday parties upstairs with kitchen capability. Pricing is average to higher end but everything is fresh, clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. Gourmet area, cheese département, bakery, tons of coffee roasting/grinding options, specialty meats. I'm glad I discovered this location.

Got my birthday cake from here today, I got the white chocolate strawberry cake, I was so excited and looking forward to eat the cake because we cut the same cake for my co worker and it was delicious. The cake is dry and I feel like it’s old. I will never buy from longos again!

We went in to buy a prepared meal on the run while shopping all day. My husband’s meatball sandwich was good, but my veal sandwich was dry and already hard. I would have returned it but had bought these near closing time. We also bought organic butter on sale which turned out to be rancid. I expected this family supermarket to have high standards. Looks like I will still have to drive across town to shop at Fiesta Farms which has never disappointed……

This is a review of the festive Christmas dinner kits only (epicurean option). The food was good. There was plenty of turkey, cranberry sauce and gravy. But there was not enough of the other dishes. The kit was to feed 6-8 people. We were 6 medium eaters (1 of us is 93 years old!). And there was JUST enough of the 3 sides. If we were 7-8 there wouldn't have been enough. Save yourself the stress and get your Christmas dinner elsewhere.

The sandwich was good. Staff were not friendly. Clerk at checkout very slow like she wasn't intrested in her job very lazy. was. Clean store but I won't be back to this one.Disappointed 😕 in this store was excited when I went .

Selling inedible fruits (prepared) & No returns accepted at this place! Got a tub of cut fruits at Longo's this morning. It is supposed to be good till Jan/10 (today is 1/9) From the look of it, the fruits seemed fresh. The tub mostly has papaya and is topped with some mango and blueberries. The blueberries & mango taste fine but the papaya tastes super bitter! Crushed pills grade bitter!!! I was eating this at Longo's right after purchasing it. So I took it to the customer service. The lady flat out refused to do anything about it citing a final sale policy. When the store prepared, ready to eat fruit items like this goes on sale, one would expect it to be maybe less fresh but STILL EDIBLE. I have never had such issues at Metro or Loblaws. I AM HUGELY DISAPPOINTED AT LONGOS!!! Horrible customer service! NOT GOING TO PURCHASE ANY PREPARED FRUITS AT LONGO'S IN THE FUTURE.

Ordered a custom birthday cake from their bakery department and was very impressed. Prince helped us out and he was so helpful and kind, he really understood what we wanted and went above and beyond. Highly recommend the whole grocery store and especially the bakery!

My go to grocery store - aside from sobeys in the Laird area. Longos always seems to have a better selection. a sweet convenient place in a plaza where I can get my essentials. Dry cleaning, Beer, Five Guys, Grocery, Shoppers drug mart all located in this laird plaza!

Spoke to the customer service person. (Sorry that I didn’t get her name ) and the Kitchen chef. Both were very pleasant, kind and helpful. They made our inquiry seamless. And set our mind at ease. Kudos to them!!

Growing up as a kid I used to hate when Mom said we were going to have salad for dinner but then again mom's salad didn't look like this... This grocery store has the most amazing salad bar; it's always well stocked and full of interesting choices. When I know I'm going to be working in the area I always make sure to end up here to grab a gluten-free lunch which is perfect for a Celiac like me.

We bought Portuguese tarts yesterday within best before date (Aug 30) and while trying them out today we found mold growing on it. Please mark the best before dates with caution, we almost got food poisoning.

One of my favorite locations! Staff are super friendly for the most part and the location is quite beautiful. I've always had a great experience coming here. I go between here and the Sheppard-Yonge locations, only thing i'd say is the Sheppard location has better sales.

I am writing a review of Longo's Leaside. I bought a roast and must say I am impressed. The store is clean and has a beautiful produce section. Longos is known for a reputation to have clean stores and a great customer base. I shop for their selection of food and polite employees.

I rarely write reviews, but hoping the management will see this and take action. For us, Longo’s is synonymous with quality and freshness, and we’ve been loyal customers for years, primarily for their fresh produce and meat. However, over the past twelve months, the store has been in a steady decline, particularly the meat department. The shelves are not fully stocked, and when they are, the meat products, particularly steaks are far from fresh. The meat appears brown and old, usually improperly cut. Recently, I struggled to find two packs of fresh striploin that weren’t all brown. Additionally, the meat department has developed an unpleasant odour. Unfortunately, we’re now considering visiting the one on York Mills road, despite the distance from our location.

A clean supermarket located in a plaza. Lots of varieties but not cheap. Ample parking spaces. There are vary small shops around the plaza including a bank. Very convenient.

Longo's is great for pizza and sandwiches, don't buy the pre-made pasta. I like their rugelach but everything else is overly expensive. The staff need some compensatory love because they seem a bit unhappy. I only go for certain items.

It's located in a great plaza with Shoppers Drug Mart and Pet Smart, so it's a great one stop shopping location. Longos is good except now it is transitioning into a self- serve supermarket. When it first opened years ago, I was pleasantly surprised that it always had one person standing at the end of all the cashier checkout lines with a walkie talkie prepared to call someone out to help the elderly and moms with infants push their grocery cart out to the parking lot and help them unload groceries into their trunks. As a single parent struggling just to do grocery shopping with a newborn, I was always so thankful for this customer service. Over time, this personal added touch disappeared and now several cashier lines have been taken out to make room for self service. Overall, so sad sad sad sad that people are becoming irrelevant and many are losing their jobs and being replaced by automation.

Well organised, fresh vegetables and fruits. One stop shop for all. No words for well displayed Salad bar, ready meals. Loft Cooking class was very impressive.

Longo’s Ordered Online Thanksgiving Dinner for Oct 9th 2022 Was not expecting the quality of the meal. Turkey, root vegetables, mashed potato, gravy. Super delicious, compliments all around. Could not cook/host this year due to renovations.. Longo’s saved the day!
