I have been going to this gym for a while now as it is near my place of work. I only attend the group classes. A little upset that there are never towels ready but they have been getting better at that. I recently heard how management has been handling things and I am not impressed. There have been so many changes to class schedules without notice or getting input from the members that actually attend class. Moreover, not even giving the instructor that teaches class any notice of class cancelation/changes is simply unprofessional. For many of us, this is a routine and our lifestyle. It may be a simple decision for you, but think about the impact your decisions have.

I use this location everyday. The gym is a decent size but small compared to other GoodLife locations. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a reason for me to give it 3 stars. Time to time they run out of towels, I am not sure what the Manager is doing or the corporate office. If you are paying for that service and its not available, there is a concern. I mean how does a big corporate company run out of towels for their customers. I am hoping they can rectify this common issue time to time.

I'm taking a star off for this. Recently there has been no clean towels available on several occasion... Please keep clean towels stocked... I don't understand why that's so difficult... -------------- This location is great, it's clean and has everything you need with validated parking. The only downside is, there is no sign asking members to wipe down the machines after use. I was on elliptical for 40 minutes, meanwhile 3 people used the machine next to mine and NO ONE wiped the machine.... This is very unhygienic and it's very alarming. I hope the staff can put more signs up asking members to wipe down the machine, which should really be common sense.

I’ve been exercising at Woodbine/Steele’s for the past 5 years, and loved it, especially the group fitness instructors. However, since a new manager came on board a few months ago, she has been randomly changing class schedules and just today, dropped the Monday step class instructor for no reason. And without any notice. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to the instructor and the members who love this class, which always has a great turnout - there was no reason to “fix” something that wasn’t broken! This same manager also moved my Wednesday 5:30 Body Pump class, so now my whole workout schedule is screwed up. My membership expires in January ... I’ll be looking at other options.

The gym is nice and newish. The staff is friendly but really my strongest complaint is that there is no proper support to the staff to maintain clean towels available. This is ridiculous I have to wait 20 mins after my workout to get a fresh towel to shower. This has happened a couple of times already. I am paying for a towel service that is terrible. Get the staff proper budget to allocate towards either getting more towels or fix the washer and drier. This is ridiculous.

Weights and equipment are great, 2hr parking is ok should be extended to minimum of 3hrs for the big downfall are the sizes of the change rooms.. At times your standing sounder to shoulder waiting to change or take a shower. Not a great location for the money full members pay. Need more room.

This location is great, it's clean and has everything you need with ample parking. I wish it was open 24/7. I prefer to workout late at night so I come when I can Monday-Thursday. Meena is one of the most helpful associates at GoodLife. He's friendly and constantly provides insightful advice and workout tips to me. Yet it's not only to me, but I see him do so for all the other members as well. And for the most part it's just him here when I come. I would highly recommend this gym and easily earns a 5 star rating. Not to mention it has both a dry sauna and tanning too!

My bf is with good life so I wanted to go work out with him for a day. The lady told me the day pass is almost $30 (just raised their price) so I might as well get a membership. I didn't need one cause I have one at school and I'm barely in town. But anyways, I said I want to talk to my bf about it but he is parking his car. Asked if I can wait for him on the side chair. And the manager who was beside the staff said I can't stay in here since I'm not a member and I'm not covered under their insurance. And so I was forced to leave. So how do new members sign up? Do they have to sign up outside too? Just unbelievable over all.

Gym may be small, but the faculty and the atmosphere is very clean and bright!! The machines are newly designed and very clean! The services are very welcoming and nice! This gym is my favourite gyms among all the other GoodLife because most of the time you don’t have to wait in line to use the machines. The way how they set up the gyms by treadmills, 20 min workout area, weight machines, training area, they’re all neat and placed very well! Love this gym!

I've been to this gym for around 5 months and I can confidently say that I'm never disappointed when I workout here. Equipment is always clean and sanitary. Only thing from keeping this to a 5 star review is WiFi. I'm forced to use my data or run towards freshii (outside the gym) if I want to access my workout plan. I can't say I can agree with any negative review below as I've only experienced nothing but exceptional customer service and respect from all staff members I've encountered.

I've been attending this location since GL's reopening and I've been highly impressed with the customer service and their cleaning practices. I initially thought booking the workouts via the App was gunna be a pain in the butt but it's very user friendly and I like the fact you can book/cancel a workout. The 1h is tight but it's surprising how efficient you can become when you have a limited time to get a workout in. My only suggestion would be regarding the layout of some of the equipment, namely by the changerooms. They have about 6 or 7 mirrors but over half the machines are facing the other way! This is a waste of premium real estate as there are plenty of machines such as the 2 cable crossover machines in the middle that would be more ideal if they were placed in front of the mirror. Other than that, I'm enjoying my new location ... Keep up the great work!

I have been a member for many years and not impressed with the management of this location. After doing yesterdays step class I was informed that this would be the final class. If a class is going to be permanently cancelled, the members that have shown up for this class week after week for many years deserve some sort of notice. The extremely dedicated instructor certainly deserves a notice rather than just being told that this would be her last class. This is extremely unprofessional, the instructor and members deserve to have a proper notice. Also, not sure why a class that is regularly attended by many would be cancelled. Rather than changing the schedule the manager should focus on having the women's locker room properly cleaned!!!

This gym has gone downhill ever since they changed management earlier this year. James was by far the best General Manager at that location. He would cheer you up, crack jokes, ask you how your day is. Just going that extra mile shows you he really loved his job. The new GM is arrogant, not friendly, and does not have the right interpersonal skills to be a manager, and I swear every time I am there he is always working out instead of actually doing work. But that is just my observation. Other than him, the rest of the staff is just wonderful! The assistant Manager, The morning lady, the individuals in the afternoon, and also the overnight guy is awesome and always motivating you between your sets when he walks by! as for the gym it self, It has everything you need, it is always clean and tidy and there is always towels ready and rolled. Hope this helps! - Cheers!
