I had a monster craving for Mandarin so I ordered online three dishes my favourites and I was told it's going to arrive within the hour I actually don't think 30 minutes past by when the knock was on my door and a food had arrived it's as if flash himself delivered my food😁 Anyways the food was delicious and I also received five fortune cookies and I only ordered for one person😁 no complaints believe me.

Always our favourite buffet restaurant. Now it’s even better with the new service. It’s like Chinese tapas service. Order dishes from a sheet and they will bring them to the table. Staffs and management are excellent and attentive. Great restaurant with great service.

Our friends celebrated their birthdays here and Jackson brought us to our reserved table. He showed us their different buffet tables. He also pointed out where the washrooms were. Our server was Wendy and she was very friendly and took care of our group really well. Food selection were great too. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

Food is always fresh, hot and tasty. One of the few corporations in Ontario who have not sacrificed quality for profits over the years. Mandarin has a great dine-in environment. The place is always clean and their decor is nicely done. I enjoy their seasonal decor, especially during Christmas time. I actually think they may be the only restaurant left in the city that decorates during the Christmas season, so it is pleasant to visit. The restaurant also holds the GOLD standard for customer service. A lot of other establishments should be taking notes. Their take out process during the pandemic was very organized and efficient as well.

Extremely wide buffet. Includes salads, mains, appetizer, sushi, pizza, meat, atleast 20 desserts. They have bar/cocktails available which you can order by paying extra. Frozen yogurt & cotton candy machine were not operational. Staff provided great service and ambience was great. We were a group of 18 people. Decent options for vegetarians too: fries, pasta salad, cheese pizza, noodles, rice, desserts and much more.

For an all you can eat restaurant, the service was excellent. Our server Wendy went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met and that we were having a great time. She kept our glasses filled, was quick to replace utensils, and cleared all the dirty plates in a timely manner. As for the food, there was plenty of selection from appetizers, soups, pizza, sushi, mains, desert, fruit, etc. Great place to take your kids as they can sample a bit of everything.

This Mandarin on Queensway is probably the nicest location I have been too. I have been here a number of times across many years and different occasions, but the experience has been top-notch every time. I have three main reasons why this location is my favourite. The service is very polite and attentive. Everyone has a smile and no servers are ever rude or seem like they don't want to be there. Refills and finished plates are dealt with promptly. Sometimes, you might even find the manager come around to offer their greetings and business card which casts a more professional impression than some locations that don't bother with this. The food is seasoned well and is not over-fried or over-salted. Some locations can't seem to do this part right but this Queensway location exceeds expectations for usual Mandarin/AYCE buffet standards. Also, the buffet areas are kept clean with frequent wiping of fallen food around the hot tables. My biggest reason why this location is my favourite is because they truly offer buffet service almost right up until 9:00. Other locations will start ushering customers out early with premature last calls and shutting down of stations, but this location doesn't cut corners like that. We got in late around 7pm and saw that even right up until 10-15 minutes before closing, food options were still being brought out and fully replenished. That is service that goes above and beyond in my opinion and sets this location apart from most others. When I decide to go to Mandarin again, this will always be my location of choice.

This location always has friendly staff and quick service. The good is fresh and the plates look clean. I took away one star because there’s normally a line up and the staff can get a little curt when it gets busy but I suppose that’s understandable too. Good job overall!

From beginning to the end, the staff was so prompt and friendly. Jackson was incredibly cheerful and friendly. We celebrated my son's birthday and I am glad we brought him here for lunch. The place is super clean, and the food was fresh, and plentiful.

Best service we’ve had in a Chinese buffet in our entire life! The waiter literally gave us a whole tour of the place and was proud to show us the restaurant and explained everything to us everything was so well place and clean. Super friendly and even the lady that bring the water always made sure ou table was clean and removed all empty plates fast. The food was also phenomenal for a buffet. Every time we go to Toronto we stop at this mandarin buffet in Etobicoke because it’s the cleanest with the most choices and best service. They even bring you a warm wet towel at the end of eating to clean your hands ! Beautiful location, good food and excellent service!

Great food. Masking not enforced, as govt suggests. However, if the govt asks me to jump over a cliff, I usually think about it a long time. Other food handling protocols were in place with a supply of clear plastic gloves to be worn over 1 hand. I would recommend their buffet. There was a seniors (65+) discount.

I wish I could remember the names of the really friendly waitresses we had. They were sincerely happy and accommodating with drink menu items. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for them to serve us. We've been to this location a few times always bringing our friends and the service has been great every single time. I absolutely love the food and all of the choices here. The food is cooked well. The desserts are also amazing. I also really like their sushi here. It's always nicely presented. They have ice cream and they even have a frozen yogurt machine. My favorite drink is the Happy Ho Ho around the Holidays lol. They were nice enough to make that drink for me even on off Season by my request. Of course I also love the beautiful decorations and the fish when you walk in as well as the huge fish tanks by the dining area. Thank you for the great experience every time!

Wasn’t sure what to expect for our first visit back to the Mandarin since the pandemic was announced but I was really pleased with our experience! Visors and masks on staff, temperature checks and sanitizing before entering, masks on unless seated at the table, disposable gloves for self-service at the buffet and sanitizing stations all around. Food was as good as ever and all of our favourites were there. We were happy to see the old staff again and they were happy to see us. Back to normal? Maybe not but pretty darn close. So, for anyone who is nervous about checking out a buffet again, have no fear... Mandarin Queensway definitely has everything under control. Relax and enjoy! We sure did! :)

Although we had to wait for a while to get in cos of social distance and the number of people that can be in at a time. Overall it was worth the wait and the cost.

Had a great experience at the Mandarin on Queensway. It was my mom's birthday. The staff did a great job. Our host was Joe. He was very friendly and took a lot of effort to make sure we had a great dining experience. He even sang Happy bday for my mom which was sweet. Prompt service and pleasant personality. Great service and kept very clean and following all COVID restrictions as needed which feels good in a buffet setting. My kid loved it as well (and ate for free because he's 4). Will be going back again!

It was a super relaxing experience! I had never been before, so it was a bit of a shock seeing all the beautiful details and fish! There is so much variety of food, and all of it was really well made. All the staff we met were so kind. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great experience tonight at the Mandarin. The food was spectacular. Our servers Tammy, Lily, and Vicky were phenomenal. They were very prompt in their service and so attentive to the tables. They also have a great sense of humor and really made our night. We will definitely be coming back!

We visited the Mandarin restaurant on Queensway, and we found the staff to be very hospitable. Special Mention to Grey, Wendy and Gloria. The food spread is quite big. There are a lot of options if you’re vegetarian or non vegetarian. Would definitely visit this place again!

I have been at Mandarin for the first time and I loved it. All the pictures that is here was my food that I enjoyed a lot 🤩. I am impressed with the taste of the food and the comfort. Service is really good too, non stop cooking that never you miss or wait for anything . I will definitely will come again.

We had a group of 8 people for dine in. At the end I wanted to get some food for takeout. I got the shrimp single person dinner. I asked for a few lemon slices and seafood sauce on the side for the shrimp. They charged me $2.50 for this!!! Really? After spending $ on dinner and drinks and take out. You cant give me a few lemon slices and seafood sauce without an additional charge????? Silly. People don’t like getting nickel and dimed. I told the server I wasn’t happy, but she said there’s nothing she can do because the manager said to charge.

Very good covid protocols. Vaccine proof at door. Temp check. Gloves for the buffet. All the classic Mandarin stuff is back. Pepper beef always a winner.

Came here for lunch for an important event. Not expecting anything different than past mandarin experiences I was pleasantly surprised! This was the most fresh food I have had at a mandarin location (First Time at this location) The food was absolutely amazing and this was felt by the entirety of the table. Great work, I'll be coming back to this location in the future! Lots of parking, friendly staff, good service, fast drink orders, fast refills!

We love the Mandarin. Haven’t been able to travel for 3 years for obvious reasons, so we were so happy to find out the buffet is open again. Everything was fresh and tasty just like we remember. We were here during Moon Festival and they had several different items than the usual menu. The butternut squash soup was yummy. Staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it very much. We don’t have a Mandarin where we live so it’s always a special treat to come here. The manager spent some time speaking with us and was very friendly and pleasant to speak with.

This was my first all you can eat in Canada, and it was a good experience, I returned for the second time and I must accept that it is despite being a very busy place and many people come to eat The good quality of customer service they have is impressive, the waiters are super attentive and friendly, they quickly fill your glass with water, the restaurant is always clean, These 5 stars are due to the employees who work very hard and with a lot of effort make this restaurant a good place to eat with the family. Helen was the waitress who gave me excellent service this second visit, Helen, thank you for your great work .

The food is excellent. It’s very tasty and it has a lot of variety. The place is clean and they give you towels at the end so that you can clean your hands. If anything, they hurry you a lot; you haven’t even finished your plate and they ask if they can take it away which makes you feel pressured into eating fast. Regardless, the waitresses treat you kindly and are attentive to whatever you need.

Came here for my birthday and the experience was great! There was a huge selection of food, and Joe and Amy as well as the rest of the staff were fantastic and very hard working. The empty plates were never on the table for more than a few seconds and the drinks were refilled immediately. They even sang me happy birthday:) we will definitely be returning!

Great experience, post onset of covid. Disposable gloves were provided for use when at the buffet, simply throw them away before you sit down to eat. Seating was scattered. Food was just as good as I remembered 😋

Came and enjoyed a dinner with my wife. Lillian was our server she was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Always given new napkins and water quick and efficiently and was asked if we were doing okay while our meal. Thank you again for the awesome customer service and good vibe. Not only did he cater to our every need with promptness and efficiency, but he also displayed an impressive ability to anticipate our preferences before we even had to ask. Food and service is amazing. Tracy was our server . She is quite accommodating and hospitable. Will return again next month…we enjoy the sashimi and appetizers here.

Posted this right after i took the first v Bite which i just ordered off uber.Worst chicken fried rice i have had in my entire life. As you can see the boiled unseasoned chicken has just been thrown into the rice without any flavour.

Fantastic service, and the waitress was so friendly and helpful. Food was all good and there was lots and they had good clean tables. Will go back again

Helen is an amazing lady, helped us with all our needs, very polite, patient, and sweet. You can tell she’s passionate about her job. Really loved her service and definitely recommend this location.

Service was ok. Seated where there were a bunch of children running around. Sticking there nada in the buffet food should have been something done about that

Lilian and Vicki were super sweet and the service was fantastic! The food was fantastic and it wasn’t too long of a wait for a Saturday evening without a reservation!

Pros: nostalgic, smelled good, a good place to go with family. Servers were very polite and friendly. Cons: felt sick after. A tendency to over-eat. At the moment, you have to use gloves to serve yourself, and wear a mask when not at your table. The food tastes like it always has, satisfying.

First the good: Plenty of parking, the food variety was very good, food quality was good (ie tasty), and everything was clean and sanitized. The very good: The staff. All were excellent, polite, attentive and hardworkng. The not so good: It just feels very dark and stuffy in here. I was sweaty sitting in the corner and had to finally ask a staff to turn up the air volume and cool the air coming through. The price is way to high for what we got here: $24.99. It should have been no more than $16 or so. I suppose it's a pandemic price. Anyway, 3 stars is fair...five stars if the price is better and if the air temperature and ventilation is better. If you go, do give the staff a good tip. They all work hard and are earnest.

My family and I having been coming to this Mandarin location for about 15 years, but in the past few years — even before COVID — the experience doesn't feel the same as it used to. This is mainly due to several food items that were once staples — golden fried fish, torpedo shrimp, and crab legs to name a few — having been taken away from the buffet. As for the service, it has been consistently great throughout. The people who work here are extremely polite and make a great effort to ensure customers have an enjoyable experience. All I'm hoping for is that some of the aforementioned food items are eventually brought back.

Went here with some family friends, it was such a nice experience, and the buffet has such a large variety of foods. One of my favorites was the meatballs, and tao chicken, the fish was exceptionally good as well. It was quite busy when we went and we only had 1h 45 to eat. Thank you to Gloria, she was an amazing server when we were here.
