DJ ( i think he's the owner too) told my daughters boyfriend of color to leave for no reason. We were all dancing 8 of us and my daughter was dancing with her boyfriend and the owner literally grabbed his beer out of his hand and told him he was being too touchy without even asking her if she was okay. And he wasn't even being touchy other than holding her hand!!! She told him he was her boyfriend and he insisted he leave. I felt like I was in Mississippi in 1950.

This Cute, Trendy Bar is fairly new and has Karaoke on Tuesday Nights at 10:00 PM and that is what I went to do and got to sing several songs and have fun back on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. I had been to a house party and was looking to just have one drink before heading home. Arrived at the door and the place was dead. The guy at the door let us know that it was a $5 cover which is not bad however in our case when we are just looking for one drink it did not make sense. When we decided that in our case it was not worth it for one drink; the door man made a comment about how it was "too expensive" for us. I don't need a door man insinuating that I'm poor. If the customer service at the door was that bad I'm happy to not have made it in. If I was spending the night there, the cover makes sense with the DJ, no need to be unessasarily rude.

OMG i love this place. The music is great, the bartenders are awesome and the people who go there are super fun. Never an empty dance floor.

It's a neighbourhood bar. A clean, cosy space with personable, LGBT-friendly staff, DJs after 10pm most nights--open 365-days a year, according to owners.

Great bar, very inclusive and welcoming. Karaoke is big here. And the place is very tidy and modern. It's just a bit far on the east side, but it's worth it.

Put your party panties on and hit Wayla on a Saturday and dance the night away with all of those songs you miss from yesteryear! Attentive bartenders, INCREDIBLE DJ and great people primarily over the age of 35. I have been to private function here and it is a terrific set-up for events. There is a front reception area, bar area, dance floor and back patio. FUN FUN FUN!!!

Friendly staff, fun spot! Hosts a great birthday party. Good music and drinks. Fun night out and ♥️ the purple chandelier. Owner does a great job of making everyone welcome.

Have never left a review before but feel compelled to share our experience at Wayla. After a few minutes dancing, the DJ abruptly approached one of the men in our group, accused him of harassment, and took away his drink. It was very obvious that the DJ had singled out the only non-white person in our group. When we pointed this out (and also that our friend was just dancing with his girlfriend...) he stayed notably quiet and refused to apologize. The blatant racism honestly was pretty shocking. We all left even though we had just paid for a bunch of drinks. Would not recommend.
