Poor maintence and customer service I went there recently to get food after long time, the lady put the straw on top of the front desk that's when I noticed that inbetween the glass and front door and cool drinks is DIRTY as shown in the picture. I would never recommend this place , because they're not clean and it's covid-19. I have checked the toronto dinesafe everything is on " conditional pass" .It's was held at 2019.Please see the pictures that I've attached.

Ordered via uber eats. Food tasted really bad. I ordered chicken korma and biryani. it was extremely salty and half of the chicken curry bowl was filled with oil. I could only taste salt and oil, no flavor. I honestly don't understand how difficult it is to make an edible curry, let alone delicious. I am so disappointed.

The front lady is probably the most unhappiest person I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t thank you, greet you, or give any gratitude, just gives off a demeanor as if she hates her life. Also, while eating I found a dead wasp in the food. So yeah, avoid this place if you don’t want to deal with people that have zero customer service skills and eat insects with your food.

Ordered chicken biryni and 3 other dishes for take out there yesterday. When we got home, my husband found a chunk of the top of plastic bag staples together in his chicken biryni. He couldn't believe his eyes. We used to love to come here for the Indians food. But after yesterday we don't think we will go back there again. It was very disappointing and potentially very dangerous if my husband had swallowed any of the plastic bags or the staples. We have contacted the restaurant but have never received any response.

I order mutton Karachi and got butter chicken. She even asked me two time and still gave me a wrong dish. Chicken Karahi is good, Since I don't want to go back and exchange it. I eat it and I don't like the butter chicken at all.

My most favourite restaurant in the town i just got food from here and if i am not wrong this is the small cockroach in the Zarda. And honestly today was my last visit to this restaurant. I am not mad but honestly feeling sad 😞. They should improve so much about hygiene. I was never expecting this from my favourite restaurant. 😕

The food was really nice. The fried fish was awesome. Crispy on the outside and the fish was flaky and moist inside. Also ordered the chicken and veal biryani. The chicken was really spicy and if you want a little bit milder flavour, I would recommend the veal. Also had the okra curry, which I thought was on point. The okra had that chewy texture on the inside with that little bit of pressure needed to break the outer layer, which is how I like it. Even mixed with the curry, it was still nicely textured. Great job!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. The mutton biryani was the worst biryani I had in my entire life. It was just white rice with raw meat with no biryani masala. I felt like I was eating raw meat with plain white rice. This is not how biryani is supposed to be! The meat was not even cooked and I could see how uncooked it was. Please look at the picture and tell me this is biryani 🤢🤮

My favorite biryani place this side down of town. Love their mutton biryani. Veal not so much. It's flavorful and not overly spicy. If you're looking for spice, the chicken biryani maybe a better fit. They accidentally provided me with veal biryani on one occasion. Exchanged it with mutton, no questions asked when I went back to them. Since then I always make it a point to double check at the cash counter. I still go there whenever I need my biryani fix! Their lahori fish tikka is good. I would avoid their curries - flavorful but too much oil and small portions. Their veg biryani is essentially some veg curry on top of biryani rice - can totally skip that. Need to try their sindhi biryani sometime. There is always a line-up outside this place which speaks volumes about their taste and quality. There's only ever been once occasion when I walked in without having to wait in the queue. The staff are quick and efficient, so cheers to that 👍

We really like their food. Taste wise this specific location is really good. But their customer service sucks. The girl at counter is rude to the core. She don’t even know how to talk to PAYING CUSTOMERS!! We’re not her juniors working with her. Totally ruined our moods. On top of her nasty horrible personality and attitude she was talking to her colleague and was literally using abuses. Owner should step up their customer service because there’s already tight competition, and we can take our money to some place which actually gives us some respect.

I used to love this restaurant. But my last experience was not that great. I have ordered Halim and did not receive any single piece of meat-which is not acceptable at all ! I don't know its the new restaurant policy or just plain negligence of the server-A Bengali speaking middle aged lady, Anyways--hopefully the restaurant would be more careful from now on to provide acceptable quantity/quality food. to their customers !

I ordered via Doordash, and unfortunately the whole food was a mess. I open the order, the naan was cold and wrapped in a paper bag instead of a wrapping in aluminium foil…Butter chicken was whole cold too.. they didn’t mentioned that I have to hot my food in microwave again?? This was really unexpected. this ruined my whole mood. To store: Please invest some money on a product which I think you don’t know, called Aluminium foil..

On October 22nd, 2023, at 11:35am. 1st time visited for Halwa Puri. When I brought it back to my office and I noticed that extra ingredients were added. "Human long thick hair." I have no choice but to throw out the food. Thank you for serving the food. On October 24th, 2023, at 12:25pm. I went back to get to see if I could get my money. They would not refund me the money, so I could pick any other meals. I said, "I'm not interested." And making excuses that,"my manager is not here to give you the refund. "

Heard a lot of good things about this place so I had pretty high hopes. The biryani was okay- I’ve had more flavourful and spicier biryanis elsewhere. I would give it 3/5 for flavour but 5/5 for value. The container is PACKED to the brim! Butter chicken 4/5 Pretty good, a few dollars cheaper than other places, but the container is small. This also could have been spicier, and the texture is on the runnier side, I didn’t mind though! Samosas - 5/5 SO GOOD. I would definitely come here to just buy samosas honestly. I’m afraid I’m going to randomly crave it all the time now. Their beef samosa is amazing. The flaky pastry as opposed to the normal pastry used is such a good idea. It’s light but absolutely SATISFYING!

Be very careful about what you order from them. They sell bad or old food without checking. They probably keep leftover food that didn’t sell and would sell it the next day. They have no regard for human health and safety. They don’t care about you as long as they are making money. They sold me multiple items which were bad and smell rotten. They pack the food and you have no idea what they sold you after you home and check the food. Also their employees are very rude and hardly care about servicing customers respectfully. Their employees are never wearing masks properly and they always allow too many customers in the store at the same time. They don’t care local health protocols and guidelines. Customer service: 1/5 rating Food: 1/5 rating Safety and cleanliness: 0/5

One of the worst chicken item I had in Toronto. Never order food from here. Chicken was smelly, it seems day-old food. It was stable. DON’T ORDER chicken lollipop and tandoori from here.

One of the my favourite spots for Halal food, especially Chicken Sindhi Biryani is my first priority to go. I highly recommend this as it makes me remember Karachi flavours.

Weekend special Veal Pullao, Aloo Qeema, Haleem and Shami Kabab - are my all time favorites. Sweets and BBQ items are average. Last weekend, took Uber delivery of my fav. items. But too much salt just killed my appetite 😤. Taking off 2 star for the inconsistency in salt proportion.

If you haven’t already gathered yet I love to BBQ. When I talk to friends and colleagues about BBQ, with my enthusiasm bubbling over, I am not sure they always get it. I have been fortunate to connect with a thriving BBQ community who have fuelled my enthusiasm even more. SILVER SPOON IS THE PLACE TO GO. Not just for BBQ for so many more amazing dishes. Mouth watering food. I’m hungry writing this so I am definitely going this week!

The price doesn't come close to matching the quality. 10 bucks for 2 pieces of barely average dark meat chicken is a massive rip off. You can't charge Nando's prices when you have low quality chicken and spices.

Silver spoon is a Pakistani Indian halal restaurant. It is a cheap place with good food. They even have everyday specials. Their biriyani taste till date is awesome (all three types chicken, mutton and veal) the amount of rice and meat is also good for 2 person. You can try their wraps and tandoori chicken. Those are really tasty. They don’t have any space for dine in only takeout. There are all time a small line and they are busy. The warden branch have dine in but they don’t have specials. Personally I like the shepherd branch food more delicious. Their food is halal.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR VEGGIE DISHES! I ordered veggie biryani from here twice and BOTH times there was chicken pieces in the biryani!! I’m pretty sure they use the same biryani for meat and veggie but they have someone there removing the meat pieces from the biryani and then they pass it off as veggie.

Today I went to have food for dinner. I had the Karahi chicken, chicken 65, and chicken lollipop. The food was unbelievable good. The chicken karahi was perfect. I got the large and the portion was massive. The flavours just explode in your mouth and the spice was just perfect. Highly recommend. The chicken 65 was awesome and subverted my expectations. My only complaint was that the pieces were way to small but other than that it was pretty good. The chicken lollipop is awesome. Actually they messed up my order because I had asked for chicken Amgara but the food was good so I let it slide. The service was great and beat expectations. Despite the long line, the service was efficient and staff were friendly. The restaurant was fairly clean. I highly recommend eating here.

Terrible food…. The worst I have ever eaten…. The customer service sucks….. they don’t provide correct order…. Everything was freaking cold. The chicken was mushy and dry as if it was two days old….. don’t ever order from here

Bought from this place all the time a long time ago. Visited today and bought biryani. But felt like eating Plain and Bland namkeen rice with 2 🍗 pieces. May be expected too much. Y'all be the judge.

The food is not bad and is extremely value (under $10 for most things). I would come back just for the lollipop chicken. The chicken biryani had bone shards in it, but that's pretty typical from catering places. Just look at how they packed the box though, if you like rice, this is your place 😂

This place used to be good, but it is going downhill.. real fast.. Bought some Behari Chicken yesterday...absolutely stale and cold... even though it was supposedly sitting on hot water, it was frozen cold...like it was just taken out of the freezer and wasn't even microwaved properly... it was the same way the last time too a few months back.. yes.. so forget FRESH.. the food is not even warmed properly by these guys.. and the Biryani... definitely not fit for human consumption (don't feed it ro birds either... IT WILL KILL THEM)... Needless to say... my last visit to this place was yesterday... Saturday Aug 28, 2021.

I catered their food for my Bollywood event. I asked them to deliver by 8:30pm and they delivered 10 min before. What a relief! The food was excellent! They gave enough food per person that you can save some for later on. When I went to the store to order, the manager Ibrahim and another staff, name Fatima, assured me everything will be ok. I am happy that everything turned out great. So far I heard from people, Silver Spoon maintains a standard that you always get the same quality of food and enough to serve your guests. I can recommend one thing only to give more salad. It might be my fault that I did not order any vegetables so people kept taking salad lol

Ever since ramadan, these guys keep 1 Staff to serve the whole store, the other staff is busy with uber and skip orders. The lines are out of the roof, it takes 20-30 mins to even order your food and relieve it. The staff inside don't care, nothing has changed

One of the best Indian/Pakistani takeout place in Scarborough. I tried their Pickering branch earlier but the food there was disgusting and a total disappointment. Recently I gave this branch a try as I moved to Scarborough and I’ve been visiting regularly for a while now. They have a great selection of starters, snacks and main dishes - everything is fresh and tastes great. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was their hariyali chicken as it was too bland but everything else has been a hit!

I have been trying Silverspoon catering for quite a while, but recently, they added online order bookings, chats, etc. I used it last Friday. In my chat, they said yes, you can pick it up, but when I reached there, no one acknowledged who took the order and what. A small tray of biryani is now $50, but rice was a bit stiff, meaning not fully cooked. Looks wiser it was good, but it was hard. I hope they try to fix it.

Located in Toronto, the Silver Spoon restaurant is a delightful spot for exploring a variety of desi street food. The establishment offers a wide array of flavorful dishes at reasonable prices, making it an inviting culinary destination. One of the standout qualities of Silver Spoon is its commitment to freshness and taste. The samosas, patties, and kachori were particularly impressive, boasting a delightful blend of flavors that left a memorable impression on the taste buds. Each item felt freshly prepared, adding an authentic touch to the dining experience. However, it's worth noting that the absence of available seating might pose an inconvenience for some patrons. The lack of seating options might detract from the overall comfort of enjoying the delectable offerings. Despite this minor setback, Silver Spoon remains a commendable choice for those seeking an authentic desi street food experience in Toronto. The delightful flavors and reasonable prices make it a worthwhile stop for any food enthusiast.

Fantastic biriyani, not masala covered but very light aromatic as i prefer that way. Very affordable for party , i took the small tray of chicken biriyani quantity quite good for 8 people. service experience was very polite 5*

Good option for meat /chicken based dinners. Biryani is their specialty and you won't be disappointed. I love the mutton biryani usually available on Fridays. Wont bother buying vegetarian food though.most of the veggie preparations are swimming in oil and there are better options in the 'hoods' where most of the branches are.
