My only regret is it took me so long to try this place. Corn fritters are incredible, the garlicky herby sauce would go well on anything. Veteran move by keeping the bag open for takeout as even after driving 10 mins home while eating bag fries there we’re super crispy. Brisket sandwich is great, mustard is a nice compliment. If I was to be super not picky it was a tad dry but definitely eat at this place!

The Fried pickles taste good. But yeah the portion size has changed. A single fried pickle, Is not fried pickles. No matter how many times you cut it.

Checked out the new location just down the street from the old location. Got the basic poutine, my brother got the breakfast sandwich. No frills about it, but definitely a decent bite to eat at fair prices. Cool American snacks in there too. Did well with the renovation, the inside looks great.

Advertised as Texas bbq but is anything but. Traditional Texas brisket is never diced up and thrown into a to go box because at that point it looks like disgusting mush. Literally threw it away when I got home. Baked beans were disgusting. They gave me ice cold bbq sauce. Shoulda known something was wrong when I walked in, saw no customers and didn’t even smell bbq. First and last time I ever step foot in that store

Breakfast sandwich was very basic for a high price. Bun was not good and the egg on it was tiny. Wouldn’t recommend this place for prepared foods

Huge disappointment. Cornbread was stale, brisket sandwich and pulled pork tasted only of their far to vinegary bbq sauce. I've heard so many great things about this place, but it's clearly gone an long way downhill

Had the classic poutine and it was delicious! Perfect amount of cheese curds, lots of gravy, great fries.

Love the concept of this convenience store/general store combined with a menu of sandwiches and baked goods. The poutine is amazing. I usually go for the vegetarian (portobello mushroom) or beef brisket sandwich.

Wow! The perfect breakfast bagel with smoked salmon, capers, onions and herbed cream cheese. Excellent service.

This place has been on my radar for some time and finally went there over the weekend. The bun was soft inside but crispy on the outside, so nicely done. There was so much flavor with the beef brisket it was so good.

INCREDIBLE CORN FRITTERS! Sandwiches were very good but my husband and I recommend the beef brisket. The pulled pork was good but not as good as the brisket. The service was slow, but honestly it didn't matter to us -- the food was incredible.

I read the reviews of this staple in the Queen East area. The food was tasty, and the quality was good. My only disappointment was that everything was ala carte which made it expensive. For the price of a sandwich, I believe that it should include a small order of fries.

If you like smoked sandwhiches, you should check this place out. If you haven't had a smoked sandwhich you've liked yet, you really need to check this place out. And the retro vibe was everything... took me back to a place I belong! (Not West Vargina). Staff and owners were great too. I am now a converted smoked sandwhich fan - but only at Leslieville Pumps! Thanks LP and J. I'll be back!

Very expensive for only the bun without any fries or salad included, and it was not fresh on the vegetables

Very convenient pass by shop to get quality sandwiches and burgers that have a bit more umph to them than the usual BLT or w.e.. The service there went above and beyond, with recommendations, customizations, upgrades etc. Washroom is great, lots of seating available. Beef brisket or smoked salmon are gonna be my choices there.

Sorry for my poor review The place has a great atmosphere and cool snacks but $7.50 for a cup of broth??aka so-so chicken soup, I find this overpriced

Outstanding!!! Owner Judd is amazing! It was our first time and he was sure to make us welcome. He helped review the menu and how each item was prepared. The meats are smoked in house and everything on the menu is made with something special to stand out above the rest. His sales skills are beyond belief. I will definitely have a craving soon for the Turkey Club served on Challah bread, perfectly not too sweet. It was perfecton. And the fries, oh the fries.....better than anyone else's. A must try! Thank you so much Judd!!!! We will be back to visit you soon!

This place is a must eat if you are in the Leslieville area. Best turkey club I’ve ever had. Owner is full of positive energy and you can tell he puts his soul into his business. Amazing place and we will be back!

Place used to be decent back at the old location. Went in for the first time in awhile and had a brisket sandwich, was $15+ and it was verrrrrry dry and the portion wasn't anywhere close to $15+ worth. They also charge and extra $3 for bacon on their already $9 breakfast sandwich. Rip off

There's something fascinating about a small kitchen inside a convenience store that is able to make food so delicious that will blow fancy restaurants out of the water! Ordered the hickory chicken and the brisket sandwich this time ,but the food is consistently delicious here! They deserve all the love from the community

Best poutine in the city!! We ordered loaded beef brisket chilli and chicken poutine. That was amazing! Highly recommended! The staff is also very helpful and friendly:)

This is our first time ordering from this place and we LOVE it. The brisket sandwiches are to die for! Also, if you order a poutine through skip, they don't put the gravy on the fries but on the side instead.

Best Pulled Pork Poutine in Toronto!! Hands down. Lots of gravy and asked for BBQ sauce with hot sauce on top. Just AWSOME.

I didn’t even realize this place serves food. They have all day breakfast and sandwiches. I enjoyed the veggie sandwich that I ordered. A little bit pricey for a sandwich but still pretty good.

Would give less stars of possible. Sorry in advance to the owners but really bad food. We waited forever for the food and it was very poor quality and felt was frozen and warmed for us. Corn salad for almost 10 bucks is a tiny plastic container of pre-made refrigerated corn kernels with canned hot sauce, very gross and oily. Corn muffin was so stale w Indian spices for some reason? Was saran wrapped and non edible. Other food was bland, old, reheated, over priced, made us sick. Pulled pork was meh. The best things were the fries and they were just fries that you could get anywhere. Hopefully, they rethink their whole menu, concept, use fresh ingredients, cook things fresh bc it doesn't seem like they are doing that. Minimize your menu and make things you know how FRESH. Customers can tell the difference!

I’ve been going to The Pumps since it opened and was at the gas station a few doors down. I’ve always found the food to be consistently delicious, fresh and hits the spot when I’m craving bbq. The beef brisket was tender and PERFECTLY spiced. We also ordered the chicken tenders, corn fritters, deep fried pickles and fries. The portions are large so we were able to get two meals out of it. One of my fave lunch spots in town! They also sell local backed sweets.
