I stayed there many times. Tess and Roger were exceptional hosts and it felt like a second home at times. Not sure if they are still there or retired. They made a stay in the bustling downtown friendly and memorable.

I came twice in Toronto and both times I went to Roger's places. His hotels are great, cleaned and welcoming, and Roger is a very very nice person, and patient too (I changed a few times the dates of my coming, and he was always so comprehensive). I recommand Baldwin village inn and Sullivan by the Grange ! Diane

I have used this marvelous B&B as my home in Toronto for ten years (I made their first reservation). I find it gets better every time I visit.

Best discovery I made on my last trip to Toronto. Very good rates considering their location downtown and what's included (breakfast, wifi, et al.), and the owners are wonderful people to chat with at the breakfast table along with the other guests. Since I was travelling alone, staying here was a great opportunity to meet and mingle with many locals and get a "ground level" view of the city. A hidden gem, for sure.

Great Bed and Breakfast at the core of Downtown Toronto. Prices are great compared to expensive hotels along University Ave! IF you need to be walking distance from hospitals like Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto Gen, Sick Kids, or schools such as U of Toronto, Fields Institute, or Victoria University, or the Art Gallery of Ontario, and looking for an affordable clean and spacious place, then this is the stay! Staff are great too! They make you feel at home away from home. Location is great because of the quaint restaurants in Baldwin Village. Chinatown with tons of chinese restaurants are a couple of blocks away.

Comfortable, clean, friendly co-habitants, safe, and centrally located. All issues with the facility were resolved in a matter of minutes, the manager showing up to fix. The landlords are great hosts with helpful friendly advice. I will always make this my place to stay in Toronto.

I almost hate to rate this so high because everyone will come and I won't be able to book a room when I'm in town. Loved the place; Tess and Roger attract wonderful guests because they are two wonderful people. The layout is very clever because we all ate breakfast at the large breakfast table and thus all got to know one another. I can't say enough great things about this B&B; not pretentious at all. If you haven't a clue what you want to do in Toronto, they will help fill your days with all kinds of fun things.

The place is so clean and beautiful. The hosts are very caring and sensitive to their customers’ needs. They will personally prepare breakfast for you. The place is so safe and secure. Security cameras are situated in common areas. Makes one feel safe and enjoy his/her stay. Prices are reasonable. They will also give you instructions on where to park.

It was alright. The location was good - in the middle of a busy downtown area. The room we got was fairly small but it was clean and cozy. Although I thought it was rather dim.

It was a little bit overpriced in my opinion. However, the location was really good and very clean.

Location and friendly staff. Rooms lack of sound proof. But eventually you will get back to sleep.

I have stayed at the Baldwin Inn many times. It is conveniently located to downtown Toronto. The rooms are clean and the place is quiet and is reasonably priced. Tess and Roger are great hosts who make you feel welcome. Roger makes a great cheese omelette to get your morning going on the right foot!! Highly recommended.

Good place, but proper bathroom is absent, just one bathroom on the floor. There are no possibility to cook by self. And soundproofing is almost absent.

Baldwin Village Inn is conveniently located near the University of Toronto and hospitals. There are 6 rooms available in this B&B inn with two bathrooms 1 downstairs with separate shower and toilet and a second one on the 2nd floor. They serve breakfast daily and is easy access from the St. Patrick metro station. It is also only a quick walk away from Kensington Market and Chinatown, giving this location ideally situated to reach most of attractions.

We went to the sushi place near there and it was great service. It's a nice place, relatively quiet and great for university students to grab a bite
