This spot is an absolute vibe. A minimalist oasis. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. If you're curious, I recommend sitting downstairs and enjoying the French movie that's projected onto the wall. Definitely check out this space if you're in the area.

Went there and tried their matcha madeleine as well as their lemon bear. Both were good. Really nice and soft and fresh with good flavor. I liked the crispy outside. They had a lot of different madeleine flavors as well as other treats. I found it weird that there were no prices shown for the snacks and you had to ask. Otherwise, it's a cute coffee place with some seating tables on the main floor and downstairs as well. They have a washroom downstairs.

This place blew me away. Relaxed, charming vibe. Staff are super friendly. Feels much more authentic than any coffee chains. A ton of seating, including a dimmed downstairs space where they quietly have a movie playing. Small, but comfortable. In my opinion, best remote work cafe in the area. 💓 Vibe - 5/5 🪑 Seating - 5/5 ↔️ Space - 4/5 📶 Wifi - 5/5 🔊 Noise level - 5/5 ☕️ Coffee - 5/5

Isle of Coffee is a phenomenal coffee shop, that is outstanding in all regards - coffee, treats, and service. The owner is incredibly kind, and creates such a warm and welcoming environment. The desserts and treats are always fresh, and delicious. Every so often, they do add a unique seasonal dessert to their rotation. I also appreciate that they offer (multiple!) options for those with alternative diets (gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free). This is a great café in which to have a chat with friends, or, if you go to their downstairs seating area, get some work done. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite coffee shops!! They offer a variety of asian desserts and drinks that are so good. I also find them to be very affordable and reasonably priced. I love their houjicha lattes and madeleines! The staffs are very friendly as well. The cafe is aesthetically ‘healing’ and their basement seatings offer a moody chill vibe. Very much worth a visit!

The best coffee place in Toronto, and I don’t even like coffee! They drinks are prepared using the best ingredients and are meticulously prepared. The shoe pastry and the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake are amazing. There isn’t a lot of seating though - one table upstairs and seating for 6 downtown in a basement.

Ordered the Tahini Maple Latte which was quite disappointing. There was no coffee taste, the maple could've passed as just sweetener and the Tahini was mild. The only flavour I tasted throughout was nutmeg. The three stars is for the lemon Madeleine's. That was actually very flavourful and texture was great.

The coffee is always prepared with love, and pretty fast. The place is very cozy, quiet and beautiful. Pastries are fantastic and the owner has various types of Cookies. They are all very tasty. The Chocolate Chip Cookie with a Hot Chocolate is the best. And if you're still hungry, the Cookie Choux became my guilty pleasure. This home made pastry will be the best meal of your day.

Lovely cafe with really good coffee, nice cups, Korean-French inspired desserts, and more seating than you'd expect. A handful of outlets are available for the remote worker or student. Highly recommend!

Cute coffee shop with good drinks! Their iced americano (I got black) was a bit sour/bitter to my taste but not bad overall. The cafe itself is cute and there’s also a basement level for seating too.

Cute little coffee shop with limited seating. There’s a basement with seating for 6 more people. Very tight space but not bad to stop by if you’re in the area. Coffee was good.

Nice newly renovated tiny cafe with a small basement seating area. Thoughtful selection of tableware. Ordered a macchiato and a flat white. Both were pretty good. The matcha madeleine was nice and light inside and a slight crunch on the outside but very sweet.

Would return. Would recommend. Delightful little neighborhood spot. Clean modern interior with seating for around 8-10 people (post-covid). Latte was clean, reasonable in price, with perfect texture and temperature. AMEX accepted.

My experience here was awesome - the gentleman working there was so kind and patient and made my hot chocolate just how I like it. All the baked goods tasted fresh and high quality - my favourite was the chocolate buckwheat cookie. Will definitely be back soon! :)

Excellent first visit! I really appreciated the fact they skipped the tip screen, and I told them so. I'm old school and prefer to give my tip afterwards

Amazing madeleines! Soft and pillowy but with strong flavour! Not too sweet! Hot coffee drinks were also great! Had the Tahini latte and the flat white.

Such an adorable little shop. Visited while I waited for an Uber. Such friendly staff, kind and welcoming to a new customer like me. I just ordered a coffee as I didn't have much time but they have all sorts of desserts and beverages. Definitely a coffee spot I'll be revisiting when things are a little less crazy.

I really enjoyed my visit here. It was a lovely atmosphere, they had a great selection of pastries, and the coffee was expertly made. They definitely know what they're doing here when it comes to their coffee and it shows. I particularly enjoyed the Choux pastry and would come back to try their cakes, which I was told rotates seasonally.

Staff are friendly and give great tips/suggestions. Espresso is much more flavorful than Starbucks. They had some pretty great plant based options that were well thought out, instead of the usual just substituting milk. The more complex drinks are measured precisely and they won't nessecarily give you a larger/smaller size if they think it will impact the flavor. It's something I really appreciated but maybe not for everyone.

The cold brew has a good balance of sourness and bitterness! And the Cookie Choux is my favorite! Not too sweet but full filled with he vanilla whipped cream, must try! And there are some construction near the shop but they still open for business!

Jake and the staff have a first class coffee shop. The best coffee, service and pastries. Their recently expanded seating area is a beautiful new add to the space. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
