Horrible and unacceptable. I wish I read the reviews before. Only come here if you want your patience tested. My appointment was booked for 10AM and I left after 1PM. Once you get in, they have a sign saying you need to be prepared for 'unpredictable wait times' and that you should expect to be there between 2 and 4 hours. This information would have been useful before I agreed to come to this clinic. I've attached a photo of their sign. I guess they've had enough furious visitors because you are warned against getting angry towards their staff. When I asked for a note for my employer to explain where I was for so long, I was told I need to pay $10 for a note. With their incredibly long wait times, that is the least they could do.

They rescheduled my appointment because technician had to attend a dentist appointment (not an emergency - just an appointment) and this has caused nothing but inconvenience. This appointment was booked a year in advance and I advised the clinic I have a tight schedule, it's difficult for me to change things around. Apparently, technician's time is more valuable than the patient's.

If you are considering lens replacement I would highly recommend. I was very nervous to even think about an eye operation, but no issue at all. I think Ted Rabinovitch and the staff at North York Eye Surgery Center made it much easier due to a high level of care and professionalism. Thanks Ted and crew!

My mother went in for an appointment today! Was told only minutes before her appointment that the doctor needed to reschedule for the next day! She had taken an Uber there to make sure she was on time! Afterwards his receptionist tried to save him by saying he had another appointment!!! Why would he double book? Totally unprofessional establishment!

Horrible attitude of Dr. Le. Probably she is the worst doctor I have ever met in my life. Unlike many reviews here, I did not wait for hours. My waiting time was half an hour, which is acceptable. Maybe they were rushing to keep the appointments flowing. It might be the reason why Dr. Le was rough and overly dilated my eyes which lasted 10 hours. I couldn’t do anything whole day. I felt like I was pushed out of the office after the exam. No explanation on my eyes. She almost threw a piece of paper titled Meibomian Gland Dysfunction and Blepharitis. She was kind enough to circles all the subtitles though.

Doctor was prompt, friendly but efficient and knowledgeable. Good explanations of test results.

Efficient appointment with friendly reception and assistant was friendly and moved through testing quickly. Dr. Le was also pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Great overall experience.

The clinic and service for my Father was excellent. They took their time and ensured all the tests were done effectively and accurately. Dr. Tran Le has been extremely supportive ensuring my father has been getting the proper care for his eyes. She explains the situation clearly and enables you to have confidence that my fathers eye care has been taken care of ... Overall, excellent service.

I went to this place for check up as optometrist made an appointment for me with them. when I went to their clinic, they charged me $120 for photography, and they were supposed to refer me to an specialist. They made an appointment with specialist who was located in their clinic, but when I went on appointment day, whole clinic was closed and nobody informed me before. they just wasted my time and did not do nothing. I am worry for my health and this place is not responsible at all. I don't know also why did I pay $120 without any result. I am not happy at all and not recommended this place.

DR Li is very professional in her approach. She is extremely thorough in her examinations. Dr Li is friendly and appears to be caring as well. I found her to be quite knowledgeable, in fact extremely well trained. She referred me to a top specialist and ordered the tests she felt I needed. The office was busy during my appointment but I did not have to wait too long. She did not rush me through my appointment. As I mentioned earlier, she was very thorough in checking out both my eyes, not only the eye I was referred to her about. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Lee is excellent optometrist. She possess strong knowledge and extensive experience about all eye diseases.

A friendly, totally safe experience having the eye testing. My technician was wonderful and I was the only person in the clinic at that time. This is my second visit in the pandemic and instruments were wiped down while I was in the examining room. Staff on the phone and doing testing are excellent. Very professional and safe environment.

Dr Tran Le Very polite and patient doctor. who carefully examines the patient's eyes. Without any rush.Dr. About ten years ago, Dr Tran Le quickly diagnosed my glaucoma and quickly lasered both eyes. Then he kept under control every 6 months. I think that I am shes patient and she is a professional doctor in shes job.

Dr. Le knows her stuff; she's efficient with her time but thorough in answering my questions and outlining options. I feel very comfortable as her patient.

Everyone there was very friendly and Professional. The staff was patient and careful to explain what they were doing and put you at ease. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The only thing I have noticed yesterday that very long queues of patients and not enough seating capacity and very long time for waiting.and last thing you have need at least one more technician and one more doctor. Worst experience I’ve ever have. My appointment is 9 am but wait about almost 1 hour to see the doctor. I don’t know what happened but should the punctuation be one of the standard of their professionalism? I won’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to wait an hour to see the doctor.

Dr. Hershenfeld answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with all my concerns. Moreover, the entire office staff has always been helpful, efficient and courteous. Thank you for all your help.

I like the doctor very much. I have been seeing Dr. Le for a very long time. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the waiting time before seeing her. I know that we have to wait for the drops to take effect before we see the doctor, maybe that’s the reason for the waiting period. The staff is very professional.

Dr. Hersenfeld is the best. Very knowledgable, kind, accommodating and great at what he does. Happy to have found him.

Quiet & respective atmosphere. Excellent attention & care by administrative staff, eye assistants & Dr. Le. The office is strict re. making sure that all patienfs are adhering to Covid-19 guidelines as soon as anyone enters the building.

Ever since last July I have been cared by Dr Le at this location at 7 Elmwood Ave. Prior to that I was once at 2065 Finch Avenue West – Suite 400. Dr. Le professional expertise and care has been paramount. I have no other words except more than awesome that I can use to describe her and my referral optometrist Dr. Bonnie Wan. From both of them, I rest assured to know my eyes have been and will be taken care with observations and treatments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tran for the past years. She and her entire team have provided great care over this time. I really appreciate that I don't have to wait for a long time to see her. Her communications are clear and concise. She responds to all questions.

Very unprofessional clinic. My family will not be booking here again. Appointment assigned to review test results (OHIP does not cover) and when called clinic after waiting almost 2 hours beyond the appointment time, told it’s an appointment sometime between 9:00am and 3:00pm. At 4:15pm finally got a call stating the doctor was tied up with an emergency. No notice of another appointment or apology. Now we are out the cost of the test. Was this a money making scam?

Very well organized and clean and safe environment. The staff are well trained and very professional. I have been with Toronto eye care for over 6 years at its Elmwood location and the eye doctor did my Lazer cataract surgery and was performed very professionally and l am very happy . And now my new doctor Tran Le took great care on my visit last week and found everything fine with my eye.Thank you doctor Tran Le and see you on my next visit next year.

Dr Tran wasn't only worry about my eyes but my whole well been. She sent me to Dr.Yau. I am so lucky . In North Toronto at 7 Elwood, they are all great , stating from Shary the magnifecent receptionist. THANK YOU. April 20 2022 . This is my 6th injeccion ##### Dr Yau trys his best, more and more anesthetic to prevent pain, and get me better. The assistant is so sweet and nice. They answer all my questions and take care of me with TLC, so much needed when your eyes are failing. I love you all at 7 Elwood.

Dr. Tran Le was knowledgeable and professional. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The patient flow was managed efficiently even though the clinic was very busy when I attended. The clinic is clean and conveniently located in the heart of North York.

My experience with Dr. Lau was professional and pleasant. His assistant was also very kind. He was honest about my retina issue and didn’t push for any decisions. I would certainly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Tran Le and her team are superb - right from the receptionist to the nurse to Dr. Le - all are professional, courteous and provide high quality eye care. The only thing that would have made me give a 4.5 rating if there were that option is the wait time but I recognize that this is somewhat of a small price to pay to get high quality care.

Always a pleasure to see Dr . Le. Dr. Le is up on current eye care procedures. The staff are supportive and competent in carrying out the functions to assist Dr. Le.

Dr Yau is personable, professional, knowledgeable and capable. He is a doctor that instills trust. It is obvious that he enjoys his work. He keeps his word. He takes you through his thought process and always has time for questions and answers. He has an amazing attitude.

Dr. Le is rude and dismissive. She does not bother to listen. She rushes the appointment and shows openly she does not care about her patients.
