My regular vet was not open at the time that my elderly cat was in the final stages of his life. When I didn't think he'd make it through the night and didn't want to have him suffer any longer, I called another clinic and was told they were too busy. Then I called this clinic and the lady on the phone ( I think her name was Elli) was so kind and compassionate, she assured me we could be seen in a couple of hours to help my poor boy out. When we arrived at the clinic, we didn't even announce who we were, but they seemed to know, even though it was quite busy. We were taken in right away and put in a private room with our cat. The same lady on the phone was right there with us. She made my partner and I feel assured that we had made the right choice and was very reassuring. We didn't have to wait too long for Dr. T to see us. We got to say goodbye to our cat and Dr. T put an end to his suffering. Dr. T was also very compassionate, kind and has a very gentle nature. Elli gave us both a hug at the end which we really needed. I'm very thankful to these people. You can tell they love animals and just want to help and do what's best for them. They also took away a huge burden of stress by just saying, "Come in and we'll help you". Other clinics could learn a thing or two from Elli. Thank you Dr. T and your staff for being so welcoming and accommodating during a terrible moment in someone's life. Our beautiful boy, Diego thanks you too.

Worst experience ever!! The doctor doesn’t care at all. He does not even have enough knowledge in my opinion. At the end of the appointment , I had a lot of questions about my dog ​​and the process, and he told me very frankly that I do not have time now, go and email me the questions, I will tell my secretary to answer !!! I went to a new doctor in North York today and it was great. My dog ​​had a broken arm, new doctor carefully examined my dog and told me the details. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

Toronto North animal Hospital deserves more than 5 Stars. Our frenchie was struck early Nov 2023 by a hit and run, the Vet and his assistants took immediate action and performed much needed surgery. They will always be our first choice whenever we need assistance. Thanks again for all your help.

I am so happy with the care I received at Toronto North Animal Hospital! I came in with my elderly cat because he had been experiencing some issues and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Tamjidi was able to explain what was happening with my cat so that I could understand. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable, I feel very safe with leaving my cat in his and his teams care. The care and medicine given to my cat was effective and I am so happy he isn't in pain any more. I feel as though the prices at Toronto North Animal Hospital are very reasonable compared to other Vet Clinics. If you have a pet, I highly recommend bringing them here, you will receive thorough, effective, and kind care without paying an arm and a leg!

Upon entering the Toronto North Animal Hospital I found that the place was very clean. The staff were very pleasant and seemed to be organized impeccably while looking after people who brought in their pets. My cat Sully is a big cat and quite heavy a staff member helped me carry the cat inside the building and also when I left. The Vet is very pleasant and a caring soul for animals. He checked my cat thoroughly and I was sent home with some meds. Lab work was done to rule out any problems. The only thing that shocked me was the price. No matter where one goes everything is priced high not just vet bills. With the care my cat Sully got it was worth the price. Just to keep my readers informed Sully's lab work came back normal and the meds given are slowly helping. Thank all of you animal lovers for reading my story. Remember your pet is part of your family. TLC is what this animal clinic is known for. I have taken Sully there 7 years ago and still use the same animal clinic so that should tell you something.

Dr. T is one the most professional & expert vets in the town. I had so many challenges with other pet clinics in the past due to unnecessary complications they created for my cat Barfi. However, Dr.T has been very patient, kind & caring & always makes sure everything is fine with Barfi. He takes time to do a very precise examination every single visit. Also, Eli is very kind & professional & always ready to jump in & help. She has been very supportive during emergencies. I highly recommend this professional team if you do care about your pet. This vet truly LOVES animals. They will kiss your pet for you :) For context, cats are usually cautious of people. But not this vet. It’s the only place I ever take my cat now :) Took her just once as a kitten, she was treated so well, I take her every time! Now she roams the vet’s office like she knows it, and the doctor kissed her! :) Cutest thing ever. The doctors treat my cat as if it’s their own. I travel all the way from Mississauga (over 1 hour drive sometimes) to exactly this location every single time because my cat loves this place and loves them. I’m very very happy with everything and all advice they give. Great place, Great people, true animal lovers! I will keep coming! I’ve attached the photos of her very first time when she was a kitten, and a photo of her today when she was roaming around and enjoying the place, climbing all over everything.

The staff are exceptional. Thankfully, I had a sick kitty emergency so I called praying to the angels that they had a same day cancelation and THEY DID! I was in shock and grabbed the spot immediately! We were very fortunate but there have been other times where we have not been.

I'm thrilled to be working at the North Toronto Animal Hospital with Dr. Tamjidi. Because my dog suffers from allergies, I brought him with me. Despite the fact that their schedule was completely booked, I contacted to schedule an appointment there. Accept me after office hours and wait for me to fix my problem owing to my dog's poor health. My experience here is exquisite. Phyrro is always so calm when being handled with her vet, and she isn’t afraid of getting her shots because of how friendly the staffs are!

Came here because my cat was having constipation issues. The medication provided helped but the whole process was not great. I was told my invoice would be emailed when I asked for it after the appointment. I did not get an email. I called them and they said to send an email to request it. I emailed twice and still did not get my invoice emailed to me. To be honest, I went here because it was close and the reviews were high, but their prices are pretty expensive compared to the other vets nearby. Lastly, I felt the vet was nice but was not listening to what I was saying. I had to repeat the issue 3-4 times before they understood. They were still polite, but overall not the best experience. ----- Editing my rating to 1 star. Instead of taking ownership the response on the Google review was to passive aggressively say that an email was sent on May 26th. This is not true. Not only did I get no emails from their email address in my inbox nor junk mail, nor was there any email reply to me original emails, I just received the invoice by email today after I posted my initial review June 4th at 4:48pm. This just made my experience worse. Not returning here because of the lack of professionalism.

Taking my cat to this clinic was terrible experience to me.I highly recommend Do Not take your lovely pet to this clinic,They just care about their pockets and money! Dr R,Hamidzadeh couldn't exactly diagnose my pet disease and proscribed something completely wrong to my lovely cat and made a lot of stress and pain for hr and my family. Due to my horrible experience of taking my pet to this place, I am definitely not recommending them at all.

I had a bad experience at this animal hospital where I took my dog for emergency care due to a limping paw. After taking X-rays, they diagnosed a leg fracture, which cost me $1,400. However, it turned out to be a misaligned stubbed toe, which was resolved with a week of support. I was shocked by the misdiagnosis and the hefty bill. I strongly advise others to avoid this hospital.

We are proud parents to 2 old cats and love them with our lives. We do all we can to take care of them. We heard about this clinic by researching various review sites and decided to go with this clinic based on so many positive reviews. It's been almost 3 years. First few visits, things were alright. There are 2 or 3 different vets and a number of technical staffs. Every time we went there, we met with new faces. Not sure but I believe they either quit after a while or perhaps get fired. They charge an arm and a leg for sure. Same services and same exact medications cost at least 15 to 25 percent more than other clinics in that area. I nicely questioned their high markups but their responses were not as professional as I hoped to hear. The problem is not just them. This is not a regulated industry so every vet prices their services based on / similar to other clinics. But, this clinic has chosen to go above any other clinics that we are aware of - at least in their own area. They are not too pushy but not shy of offering tests / meds which are unnecessary. If you are not sure, get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion. Just please don't count on comments on some social networks. Consult with real vet and in person with your fluffy buds. They are not too busy compare with many other clinics. You can call them any time of day and almost always you can go there on the same day. So, this is good if it's kind of urgent matter. But they are a little disorganized and everyone, vet, multiple assistants in small rooms make our cats (and even us) feel overwhelmed and uncomfortable. Usually, other clinics there is the vet and 1 assistant only. One thing we don't appreciate is that their assistants try to be funny and make comments about pets which you may not find funny. But try to be open minded and remember most of them are very young and inexperienced and maybe even their 1st job ever at pet clinics. Most of the time, we don't get the opportunity to ask all our questions and when we leave we are not allowed to speak with vet on the phone directly. Just pass the message and some one some day will get back to you or book an appointment. Well, we were just there. LOL Thankfully, there are huge number of animal clinics around theirs so my recommendation is to shop around. If you must visit this vet, I suggest you get the recommended meds from other vets close by. Just make sure you get the prescription and take it to some other clinics and see for yourself how much you would save. This year, we saved over $87 for the same exact med buying from another vet down their street. Thankfully, during our shopping for cheaper meds, we met with another vet who was very humble so we've decided to choose him as our new vet. All in all, this is just another animal clinic similar to thousands of others. Nothing special except the final bill which makes you sweat.

Clean office and receptive staff however, I felt like I was not dealt with honestly regarding prices (but that seems to be the case with vets.) I asked about pricing before my visit: I was told $95 for the exam and $35 for each test if needed, e.g blood, urine. Price for rabies vaccine seemed reasonable. Dr. T, a nice man, charged over $400 just for feeling my cat in addition to the other charges e.g. $35 for a nail trim. Other vets charge $20 for a nail trim. He prescribed medication but never mentioned getting the accompanying pill pockets. I got them elsewhere. Test results were prompt. I’m not sure I trust vets in general.

Dr Tamjidi and his team saved my cat’s life. They are the best and I really appreciated. Recommend for all pets

Wonderful attention for my kitty Bruno. Dr T listened to all my concerns and explained in detail. Secretary assistant is also a very sweet lady. It's great when you can work as a team. My Bruno had an accidental fall and hurt his back chipping a small bit of bone. I'm sure my senior fur baby will soon recover with Dr. T's professional care.

Service good, staff friendly, but all too pricy compared to other vets I’ve been. + they messed up my cat’s weight. I watched them weighting and remembered the number-which is the same with what I have when I weighted him at home. But on the medical records it says a different number and that’s 1kg more than my cat’s actual weight. Treatments were given per weight, so apparently they ODed my cat. Not sure what impact that will bring, but after being charged a ridiculous amount, that’s not acceptable.

Amazing staff and doctor. I had a terrible experience in the past with different specialists regarding my cat and was too scared to try a new doctor. Ever since I visited this hospital the doctor has been super helpful and kind. He and his staff truly listen to your concerns and try their best to get the right help. I am so grateful - thank you Dr. T and wonderful team. 🌹

I am surprised at the number of positive reviews for this clinic. Our experience was not positive. We brought our sick pet to them and we were not allowed into the clinic, while our pet was examined. Dr Tamjidi came out and said that the pet should be euthanized, but we were still not allowed in, while our pet was put down. Payment was made in the parking lot but not to the clinic, to Dr Tamjidi personally. We repeatedly asked for an invoice but never received one. The bill was $570. Later and sadly, we had to euthanize another of our old pets, and this time we went to the largest and best emergency vet hospital, in the GTA, where we were allowed to come in, and when it was decided that euthanasia was necessary we were given a separate private room nicely decorated, were allowed as much time as we needed with our pet, before and after, and were later provided with the ashes in a beautiful urn with the pet's name, etc. We paid the hospital and received a detailed invoice, and the total charges were a few dollars more than Toronto North. Judge for yourself.

My name is Snow. I was rushed to this hospital because I was vomiting blood. The staff were very nice to me although I feel sorry that I bit one of them :(. They were very calm and pleasant and I recommend this place :). Not to mention, they were able to accommodate me even though they were supposed to be closed already (It was my lucky day). My son brought his Cat who had urinary track blockage. Surgery was performed a week ago. He came home and had to go back to this vet for 2 days again. He died and my Son found him this morning in front of his Christmas tree. Where did this vet get his degree and training only to kill their beloved cat who was smart and loved by my Son and Grandchildren. Do not take your animals to this vet Dr.T for they will die quickly if they have to have surgery . Dr. T you should be ashamed of yourself and after all the stress my family have gone through for a cost of 5200 dollars and no refund you should be closed down.

I used to live in this area and bring my dogs here for everything, if you only take your pets here for simple check ups, vaccinations, it shouldn’t be an issue. But if you come here for anything serious, I suggest you do some more research first. I spent thousands of dollars here for my dog’s leg issue. They will “help” you with all kinds of tests, x ray, ultrasound, but all I got from them was” if you want we can do more test” and on top of that they asked me to do more research on Google!! Imagine bringing your loved ones here to fix the issue only got send home to google it?!

The staff and dr Tmjidi were so nice and gentle with my puppies ..They took such good care of them and gave me a full explanation of their medical condition. I wish I took them there a long time ago and honestly had a great experience and super happy I found this clinic. Thanks again!

Dr. T is the kindest vet I have seen. He has a true love for pets. He did a check up for my puppy and did all vaccinations needed. My wife and I just got our very first pet and we are very inexperienced. He patiently explained everything to us including things we should do and know and things we should be concerned about. Best hospital ever. We and our pet received his full attention and care. We definitely go back and definitely recommend to others.

I have been taking my cats to see Dr Tamjidi for 4 years now and he has always been very caring of my cats. One of my cats suffers from seizures and Dr Tamjidi took the time to look into alternative medicine which has saved her life. She hasn't had a seizure for years now and it's all thanks to him. He also taught us how to give our cats injections which would go onto save his life from a life threatening illness. Overall, Dr Tamjidi is a great vet.
