I had my fiance's custom engagement ring designed and made by Jeff and the team at Knar on Avenue back in November of 2019. I had a tight timeframe and a pretty clear vision of what we wanted and Jeff went above and beyond to bring it to life. He was incredibly patient with my specific requests and provided valuable insight and advice on how to create a ring that was not only beautiful but structurally sound as well. Jeff really took the time to get to know me and my partner and alongside his design advice he offered us invaluable life advice during our design sessions. He clearly is very passionate about his profession and cares deeply about his clients and helping them achieve their vision. My platinum wedding band ring of 5+ years recently got stuck on my finger causing it to swell and I suppose some loss of blood circulation. My wife reached out to a bunch of Jewellers and not only was Jeff one of the first to respond, he was so compassionate about how I was doing and feeling. He was also providing treatment options and advice to take down the swelling. He easily could have told us "Go to an ER" or "Once we cut it off the ring will be of no use" but Jeff was amazing and and determined and told me he would be able to salvage the ring! It was his professionalism and determination that made me hold off on seeing other jewellers and from going to the ER where I was leaving the salvage-ability of my ring in the hands of a complete stranger. After several back and forth e-mails and text, I knew I was in the best of hands with Jeff. If he couldn't get my ring off painlessly and somewhat in tact, no one could! When we arrived at the store, he was very careful and precise but he had the right tools and finally after a lot of persistence and patience on his part...voila! Ring was off! Not only was Jeff and team at Knar Jewelery able to get my ring off in one piece, he offered me solutions to resize it and explained in detail the entire process in very easy to understand terms. This guy (gentleman, lol) was so friendly and compassionate towards my situation...if we never found him I don't know what I would do! He detailed what would be done to the ring in a quote and even polished my wife's ring complementary while we were there:) We were able to salvage the ring thanks to Jeff which is very important from a sentimental value. My wife has asked if it made sense to purchase a new wedding band altogether but Jeff was not about to upsell us. He let us know the cost to reshape and resize the ring and we were happy that it was actually not that much! I do not usually buy a lot of jewellery (or have a ton of jewelery issues until now!) but going forward I will not hesitate to use Jeff and the team at Knar jewellery as my first stop when I do indeed want to splurge a bit! I would recommend them and their courteous, professional service to anyone even if you need just a little maintenance or a platinum band sawed off your finger, lol! Thanks again Dr. Jeff!!!

From the very first time I walked in, to the day I left with my engagement ring the staff there provided nothing but the best customer service. There are many other independent or big box stores in the downtown area but the service here was outstanding. Even when I needed a rush order on the custom ring they designed Erica and Jeff managed to pull through and have it delivered on time. Craftsmanship, diamond selection and exceptional customer service are all A+ .

LOVE these folks! My tag heuer watch needed a new battery, which typically involves going to a posh jeweler with attitude, a ritual I really don't like. This time, I found Knar (via Google) - the location (Bloor & Avenue Rd) was particularly convenient. I dealt with Jeff, who I gather is the owner. There were problems with my watch beyond the battery (the clasp was loose, the band was dirty, and worst of all, the back was stuck and wouldn't come off). They dealt with it all, left me messages with updates, charged me VERY reasonably, and were very friendly. Simply put: it was a genuine pleasure to do business with them, and I will be going back there from now on.

Got my fiancée's engagement ring here after going to about 7 stores. This place felt like home and perfect. Great customer service, they really get to know you and your partner. I decided to go custom and their attention to detail and my request were perfect. Could not have asked for anything better.

One of the better jewelers around thats for sure! So many Armenian jewelers around. Theyre really good at what they do. But I definately liek to shop around as in this one case another vendor priced the project better so I had no choice because it was a huge difference in pricing but Knar has always been my go to over the years.

I recently got engaged but my ring needed sizing. After doing some research I decided to bring it to Sandy at Knar Jewellery. I brought the ring in one morning but was eager to wear it out that evening - Sandy was able to size my ring the same day with two small metal balls being placed on the inside of my ring (something that at most jewellery stores I looked into told me would take a few days to return). Sandy knee how excited I was to show off my new ring and made sure she got it back to me that day. They did such a great job, the ring fits perfectly now and she even polished it and my other ring for me. I highly recommend this place as they are great with customer service and trustworthy.
