I had physio after I broke my hand on February 9th. The service is excellent. Sahar, my physiotherapist, is courteous and efficient and she always sees me on time. She explains what she is doing every step of the way. I would have no hesitation in recommending this facility. Top notch.

I went to this clinic for Physiotherapy and submitted my insurance details for billing. After a month of providing the service, I got a call today from their receptionist Jessica who happens to be extremely rude and unprofessional. She forgot to submit my claim to the insurance and conveniently on the 31st day of the service she calls me and says that I owe money to the clinic. On digging deeper she mentioned that they can only submit the claim 30 days after service and she happens to call exactly on the 31st day. She didn't provide proper documentation that they tried to submit the online, paper and fax. I called back and asked to be connected to the Manager and was conveniently denied a conversation saying that she is not available. Jessica wasn't ready to accept her mistake that they didn't submit the claim on time and kept repeating that 'it doesn't matter who's fault it is and you need to pay!'. Extremely unprofessional environment where they don't even accept their own incompetency and couldn't care less about their customer service. Save your time and money if you are looking for a better customer service and find another clinic.

My physiotherapist is very punctual. He never makes me wait. My appointment is always on time. He is very knowledgeable and caring. Receptionists are very helpful with my questions. The orthopedic surgeon is very professional and knowledgeable. He is always very patient in explaining everything I need to know about my injury and possible curing options. Never feel like rushing at all. I would recommend this clinic.

I first came to Athlete's care after it was highly recommended by a friend, and my last clinic wasn't able to fully resolve my lower back pain issue. Jon from Athlete's care worked with me over a two month period (weekly visits) and I am now at a stage where I am feeling close to 100%. I was quite impressed with the clinic and Jon's expertise from the first visit itself. I was already doing some relevant back exercises, but he was quick to pick up on the fact that my form during those exercises needed significant improvement. He simplified the treatment for me and broke it into small increments, set the right expectations in terms of visits and time needed, and ultimately led me towards near total recovery. Their COVID protocols were on point and appointments/timeliness all stellar. Parking is paid but not too expensive. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you Jon! Clean, quiet, place. Nice, welcoming landscape from outside. Very organized, prompt, warm attention and service from reception all the way through the time you get to see your doctor. You're well taken cared of. With my special mention to Dr Jin, i thank her for taking very good care of me.

I've never been injured that I required any physiotherapy. I didn't know what to expect and what results I would get. I was recommended to Athlete's Care from the surgeon I consulted with. My Physiotherapist was Jon and he was very good at what he does. I was fascinated learning how a body works. Every week he did multiple different exercises for my injury. Every week he'd send me comprehensive instructions via email showing my exercises. He always left me confident that my recovery is just a matter of time. Every week I got better and better. My experience was awesome! My only beef is that I couldn't pay cash. I'd recommend Athlete's Care to anyone that's had an injury.

Clinic was easy to find as I moved to the area a couple years ago. Communicating with the team was very easy over email and phone. Very patient and accommodating. Nicole (chiropractor) is amazing as she really puts in the effort to get a detailed understanding of the patient’s needs while still providing thorough treatment!

I was there today Monday 29 may 2023 at aroun 130pm, after calling almost 20 times when nobody picked up the phone I decided to drop by at the office, there were 3 ladies working 1 asian and 2 white looking, the asian girl was extremely rude she didn't understand much English but anything that i asked her she replied with a lot of attitude, the white girl was ok to talk to though, Asian lady thinks she is working in asia somewhere where she can treat people like garbage, very disappointed with her bad attitude. Dr read should consider hiring someone polite, she's just bad with people

My experience here is just excellent. I have Meniscus muscle tear issue. My physio Threpist Jonathan Wilson is treating me with best exercise, what I need it related my surgery issue. Also follow up for Improvement as well. Dr. Tran is my Surgeon, he is also consulting the patient from the same sports clinic. My experience is the Best with Him as well. I highly recommend them.

Sahar (physiotherapist) is wonderful - effective treatment, clear explanations of what/why/when/how much. Admin staff are organized and friendly. Online portal to book appointments means no calling and holding!

I am very pleased with the Athlete's Care in Scarborough. This is a clinic located in a nice, clean, calm, accessible professional setting. Reception staff is welcoming and professional. Sports medicine and physiotherapy care are state of the art. I was happy with all aspects of the health care services provided in the clinic. For physiotherapy, I highly recommend Mindi. She is an excellent clinician in every respect. Mindi has empathy and in-depth expertise in a broad range of physiotherapy interventions. After a detailed clinical history, she diagnosed with precision the causes of my knee injury following a bicycle accident, recommended a customized treatment plan, and guided me through each step of my knee recovery going forward. This helped me for recovery and mobility. I am grateful to Mindi for excellent diagnosis, and personalized holistic care in physiotherapy. I am able to walk and ride my bicycle again. Mindi sees both the big picture and the details of a patient's injury. She provided physiotherapy for my current injury as well as suggestions to prevent future injury. I recommend Mindi as an outstanding clinician and physiotherapist, and the Athlete's Care in Scarborough. I also wish to thank Dr. Jin for excellent sports medicine care, astute clinical diagnosis and care regarding my knee injury, and MRI test interpretation to prevent future injuries. All in all, Athlete's Care in Scarborough has a 5-star clinic, state of the art technology, and expert and caring clinicians. We are lucky to have them in Toronto.

I’ve been coming here for years and while I’ve always had great things to say about the physios and Dr. Jin, but I didn’t always have the best experience with the administrative staff. That is until now. The new front desk girl (I’m so sorry that I can’t remember her name) who I see always working evenings/closing hours is BY FAR the best, most professional, and the nicest from the whole admin team/all the admin that have worked there in the past 2 years. She always greets me whenever I come in and I have never had any issue with my bookings since she’s taken the job. Whenever I call the clinic and she answers it’s always a pleasant conversation as well and never has the condescending tones I and other clients have gotten from the two regular admin girls. Even when she’s the only one at the desk and having a rush of people sent her way, she’s always efficient and sees everyone’s request through and even APOLOGIZES for the wait time even if it is completely unnecessary (it’s a busy medical clinic! There’s bound to be busy rushes!). I believe she also coordinates for Dr. Jin and she’s always very knowledgeable and helpful whenever I need to book appointments with her. I stopped by the office today, close to closing, and was trying to book with Dr. Jin for my dad’s back and she patiently explained to me the necessary steps in order to see Dr. Jin for back issues and even offered alternatives in the meantime like physio and chiropractic treatment. Well done Scarborough, you are finally shaping up your admin team and your clients thank you for it.

I first went to Athlete’s Care in 2019 for pelvic floor physiotherapy, and just one month here changed my body for the long term and frankly changed my life. (Moms, if your gyne tells you there’s nothing you can do about post natal muscle damage, it’s not true!) This year (2023) when I had surgery on my rotator cuff, I knew I’d trust these folks. I’m making very good progress on my post-op rehabilitation. Sahar J has been my therapist throughout and she is amazing. Everyone else I’ve seen here has also given me a really good experience. Highly recommend!

My son plays competitive basketball and is very active so we had to find a reputable, amazing physiotherapy clinic, and this clinic did not disappoint. Mindy is amazing. She worked with him very well and made him and myself very comfortable. We voluntarily go for extra sessions because of how great she is, thank you athlete care for all your work.

Athlete's Care was truly the best decision I made for physiotherapy. I looked into a lot of places and decided to book this centre from previous reviews and I have to say it was truly worth it. I had a really bad ankle fracture and had to learn how to walk again. I scheduled my sessions with Sahar Jaffrani and she was truly exceptional. She was always welcoming, understanding and very supportive. I loved how all my sessions were very hands on and I felt taken care of. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking! The service has been incredible.

The new administration Tatiana was wonderful. She was very friendly. She checked my previous appointments to ensure I didn't have any outstanding payments. She booked my next two appointments. She asked me and another person how I was doing, very tentative and pleasant. This made for a very good experience. My appointment was with Mindy, she is always great. 😊

I’ve been going to Athelete’s care in Scarborough the past few years & it’s an amazing place if you want to feel better quickly. I’ve been treated by Uma Welling & lately by Sahar Jaffrani. Both are amazing: knowledgeable, kind, & know what they are doing. There’s always a positive vibe when you go in; therefore have always seen 100% results in recovery. Front desk admins are quite efficient as well. I’d definitely recommend Athelete’s Care to those who are looking to get Physiotherapy or Massage therapy.

I have had a great experience going to Athletes Care Scarborough for my neck injury. The reception team Angela and Alyssa were very kind and welcoming. The chiropractor Matt was able to recognize my injury and treat it accordingly. I will be continuing to visit for any treatments I need.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I love working with Uma to help get my back corrected. I suffered a whiplash injury and she has been extremely helpful in getting it returned to normal. We set out goals, as well as try exercises to help my rehabilitation. Uma shows me how to do each exercise and then observes me doing a couple to make sure i am doing them properly and explains everything so I understand it.

Jonathan is a fantastic physiotherapist! I had a sports injury a couple months ago and dislocated my shoulder. After a thorough initial assessment by Jonathan, he identified areas of focus and walked me through a detailed treatment plan. Throughout the following sessions with him, I noticed a substantial improvement in my shoulder. He is thorough, patient, and clearly knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Jonathan and Athlete's Care to anyone recovering from an injury.

Been going here for physio after knee surgery. First experience with physio. Polite and professional staff,convenient location. Been working with Uma. Knowledgeable and have been noticing progression with my knee movements with her exercises. Overall positive experience would recommend. Hope you don't have to though. Injuries are not fun. 🤦

I have been seeing Mindi to help me recover from various injuries over the years and my experience has been exceptional. Not only is Mindi great, but her team of chiropractors and massage therapists augment the care that the physiotherapists provide. They have a very good team approach to resolving your issues and they communicate between each other to provide you with the best care possible.

Jonathan is the best physiotherapist I have ever been to. He helped me to get rid of shoulder & neck in just few sessions, which nobody could help to reduce. When I hurt my back, he was very kind to adjust timing and help me on short notice. I highly recommended him.

I came to Athlete care after my previous PT could not cure my knee pain. Johnathan of Athlete Care correctly found out that I did not have bursitis as suggested by ultrasound but it was fat pad impingement. Starting from a place where I could not walk without pain I am now back to running and getting close to my original form. Also the front desk was super nice.

Dr Matt McGrath has been my saviour during this recovery. He is extremely knowledgeable and has made all the difference in my recovery. He makes me better with each visit. All the office staff are so friendly and helpful. George made getting my brace so easy. Last but certainly not least Dr Tran. There are not words to describe what I think of him. He is beyond awesome. He listens, he cares and he treats you with the upmost professionalism. My only regret is that I didn’t find out about this clinic earlier. Highly recommend

Started going to this location when booking an appointment with Dr. Prebeg became almost impossible - he’s a popular dude! Both Matt and Nicole are super nice chiropractors who do a great job. Feel like I have so many problematic areas that it’s impossible to focus on all of them every visit, but I always leave feeling a level of progress. Really nice office overall. Even the reception team is super friendly and helpful. Great facility!

My experience here is just simply excellent. They are taking great care of me. Very understanding and professional and caring. The Orthopedic Surgeon, Chiropractor, and Physiotherapist and also the Receptionist are all great. I continue to be treated here and my treatment is going well. I highly recommend them.

Great thanks to Dr. Abughaduma for being a human first and then a doctor second. It's wonderful how he gives so much attention to his patients, with honesty and clear transparency before and after the procedures. Immediately noted a drastic improvement in the pain of my right knee shortly after the operation. I am very eager to get my left one done as well. I recently had a physio appointment with Uma. She is amazing. She said I needed at least 3 sessions to recover. However, after the 1st session, a few days later, I was fully healed. She always give the exercises to do at home print out. This is not the first time I had this experience. I also had the same experience with Mindy who is also a very knowledgeable and experienced physio therapist. I would recommend this centre.

I went to Athlete's Care due to torn tendons in both arms. My Physiotherapist Sahar worked on my arms so diligently and with such expertise and care that I recovered greatly from where I started. Every session was not only one step closer to to recovery, but she always informed me what is going on and provided me with all the additional exercises I need to do at home and measured my progress. She has increased my quality of life tremendously and I would like to thank her.
