First impression of the facility: The place is extremely affordable as far as boutique specialty training facilities go. -. bright friendly showroom and the front desk staff is really helpful, -The programs fee structure is really easy to work. They are flexible and have good options The people are very welcoming and friendly. The boxing classes which is what I signed up for. It feels like There is a lot of wasted time with shadow boxing warm ups. No real structure at all for these shadow boxing rounds.. for an inexperienced participants looking to get a sweat on its fine... A More experienced person may get bored and see it as filler. Theres only one boxing coach which I think hurts this place as there are a few subs who cover for the main coach from time to time who put on a good class .. sometimes a better one. I can't speak for the rest of the classes and this review is based solely on the boxing class experience. This is a review of the actual class only and not the people, building, program structure or prices ..

This is a place you go to become a better man. Physically and mentally. Great people, starting from the management to the most experienced instructors to the youngest ones. In short, it is the best gym in the world.

Great instructors for the 5 and 7 year old. Good environment. Prices are pretty competitive as well. The kids always have a blast especially wrestling on Sundays.

Excellent place, Excellent people, Excellent service. They have great teachers and good equipment all you need is to buy your own boxing gloves and a gi. Gym is everything you need and it's always fun to wrestle or roll with friends. Yea its good

been here 8 months now one of the best decisions i've made. Coaches make you feel like family. studio is really clean well put together and the people are very respectful its good for people who are just starting out in martial arts or people who have already trained.

My three kids have attended classes at MMA World Academy for the past few years. The facility is clean, the coaches are fun and kind, and management is top notch. The classes teach practical skills, discipline and promote respect for fellow athletes. A wide range of classes are offered and jiu jitsu grading and competitive opportunities are available. The gym also has a small weights/cardio section in which parents can workout during their children's classes. It is a family-oriented establishment in which all skill-levels are welcome and challenged. I highly recommend this gym.

This place is amazing I have been going here for 3 months now and I have learned a lot. The coaches and other people who go here are really friendly and always willing to help when needed. That goes for boxing, jiu jitsu, Mhay Thai/kickboxing. The gym equipment amazing too.

MMA World Academy has changed my life for the better everyone there is amazing from Kru Chin, Kru master Paul and of course Yamlak. Winston the owner is class A all the way. Used to come here for boxing classes as a kid, 6 years later I came back to the same coaches as before. Great clean facility, friendly /helpful staff and understanding management I would highly recommend getting the 10 class pass you will not regret it.

Best mma gym in the GTA by a mile. I tried multiple places over the years including some high end gyms but non of them come close to this place. High end vibe without the expensive price tag. Amazing staff and trainers. They have boxing , jiu-jitsu jitsu , kick boxing , mui Thai for adults and kids. They have women's only studio on the 2nd floor. They have a gym inside with everything someone needs to get a proper workout done. Signed up my myself , my wife and my two kids for a full year after trying it out for a few months. Amazing place.

The coaches are professional and friendly. The gym itself is warm and inviting while providing a proper work out. You feel energized after your workout. The gym is well maintained especially with the sanitizing etc. A safe, friendly and comfortable environment.

MMA World Academy is the best gym there is. The coaches, staff, people attending classes and overall atmosphere are more than excellent. There is no place better to train, as anything you may need is there, whether it is equipment, motivation, support or a coach that will get you into shape. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to start or further their training in any MMA sport or fitness activity.

I am 10 years old I've been going there since i was 7. I like all of the instructors because they are great teachers and help keep me disciplined. The teachers are practically family to me and my mom. I find that all of the teachers are well with kids. I very much enjoy the fridge with beverages at the front. MMA has really shown me that if you put your mind to it you can do anything: )! A lot of the people at MMA are really inspirational. Everyone i know that goes to MMA has shown amazing growth physically and mentally. All in all MMA is an incredible place!!!

MMA World is a second home for me and my now 10 year old son. We look forward to sweating it out almost every day, not just for the gains, but also the people that work there. They truly are family. I personally have been taking boxing since 2018 and haven't turned back. Going together and bonding over boxing with my son has lifted his confidence and self esteem immensely, as well as, given him the structure and discipline he needs. I love the support from not only the coaches, but also the other members at the gym. Our days are not the same without a visit to MMA World Academy. The VIP membership pricing is the cherry on top (very affordable for the value), especially as a single mom. It includes access to their gym so I can lift while my son is in class. Deeply grateful for Winston and the coaches for being a part of our fitness journey!

Highly recommend this center for families who are looking to get their children in active classes. I first signed my two oldest for the very affordable v.i.p membership noticed the positive effects it had and then signed my little ones up. I like the everyday classes if you miss a day you can come the next. the gym is clean, coaches and front staff are very friendly, accommodating for all ages 4+.

I've been a member of MMA World Academy for many years. My daughter was registered in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and yoga classes and encouraged me to join. Haven't regretted a day! After taking a variety of classes I've found the trainers to be knowledgeable, understanding of each individual's needs and genuinely caring. Presently I'm enrolled in the women's fitness classes and I'm loving it. It's hard work but you leave feeling like you've accomplished something. The gym is always clean and caters to the entire family. Some parents take classes the same time as their children. Perfect use of time! MMA World Academy is a reflection of the owners.
