My daughter aged 3 attended in 2021. She absolutely loves gymnastics but the coaches here seem to really dislike children. Zero enthusiasm in their demeanor. No active encouragement. It was bizarre to watch. Coaches looked annoyed when kids lost focus but made no efforts to redirect or engage them. At such a young age the children need more guidance. Owner is not open to feedback whatsoever. Witnessed one toddler have an accident. They let her cry in her pee and didn’t inform the parents in the viewing area. When the parents noticed and went to help the owner just scolded them for not using a diaper. Perhaps this facility is better suited for older kids. I would strongly suggest parents of toddlers reconsider. My child still loves gymnastics but we go to another facility now where they’re actually kind and encouraging.

My daughter has been going to Birchmount Gymnastics for about a year and has only had a great time. The coaches are nice and really encourage the kids. I have seen so much improvement in my daughter and she is always eager to go every week. I also want to give 5 stars to coach Sophia. My daughter really enjoys having her as a coach. She really has a great coaching balance of letting the kids practicing the skill on their own and at the same time showing them how to do it. Great Job!

Both of my daughters attend Birchmount gymnastics and they are so happy here. They are progressing at a such a great pace and genuinely love going to their classes. There is such a great sense of community at this club. The new space is large, clean and I enjoy being able to watch their classes. The coaches take their time to teach them new skills safely while also giving them lots of encouragement. We are very happy with our experience so far at this gym!

I read many positive reviews before enrolling my daughter last year when she was 4. I did not re-enroll after that fall season. The few times I was allowed in the viewing area I noticed an unengaged and unenthusiastic teen coach who didn’t seem to really care. I don’t think I ever saw her demonstrate moves. Either she was inexperienced or lacked the ability to deal with children of that age. I almost felt as if she was just watching the kids jump and bounce around. There is a short period of time toward the end where they move the kids to a smaller play room. I signed her up to learn gymnastics, not to be babysat in an indoor playground. Disappointed.

Went there with my 2 year old, she had a great time! The place was huge, with lots of training space and a large waiting area. They had dozens of students on the floor at the same time with lots of equipment and coaches. No one felt left out or lacked attention for anything. The wife is already excited about enrolling our next child when he gets old enough.

Birchmount gymnastics has been a home to my daughter for over 10 years. The owners and coaches are like family, they are always warm and welcoming. They take pride in making the children happy and confident about themselves. It is always a positive atmosphere with lots of engagement with the children. I highly recommend bringing your children here to be part of the family that is created at this gym.

The lady in charge, Linda, was very rude to my toddler. If they cannot provide clear instructions or do not have even an ounce of patience while handling a toddler, then they should not have toddler sessions at all. My daughter was 23 months old when we enrolled her in the kindergym sessions. Linda was just outright rude, and the instructors were completely uninterested in teaching the toddlers. They were disorganized and lacked any patience. I DO NOT RECOMMEDND FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS!!!

Our favorite place. My kids love birchmount gymnastics. The coaches are so great with the kids. They r full of energy and really show care and love for each child. Linda is beyond words fantastic. She is always there greeting everyone with a wave and a smiling face. She takes the time to get to know the parents and build a relationship with us. My Daughter joined the Toddler & Kinder Motion at Birchmount Gymnastics 6 years ago and is now part of their competitive team. Yes, sometimes it looks like they're just playing, but they're learning the basics. My Daughter was scared of the bars and wouldn't even touch it. Now it's her favorite. I appreciate that they make it fun. If it was ALL drills, skill building, or core strengthening, my Daughter would have already told me she doesn't want to participate anymore. Their new facility is big, clean and offers more for all ages.

Amazing organization! The coaches have trained and guided my daughter to grow both athletically and holistically. Always respecting her own skill level and individuality. I strongly recommend Birchmount Gymnastics to everyone.

Highly recommend! We've been going to Birchmount for 13+yrs from parent and tot, through to recreational and competitive gymnastics. As a family run club it offers a very welcoming and safe environment. Owners and coaches are always available and very easy to approach.

Amazing Facility, Program and Staff. Met with both Linda and Ed, and have nothing but great things to say about this place and the owners. State of the art!. Its nice to see there are still good people who genuinely care and are honest. In this day and age, when its hard to get kids out and active, this place is a great help. !

I am really enjoying my time with my son at Birchmount Gymnastics. The facility (the platforms, washrooms, and waiting area) is really clean. They always give hand sanitizer upon entry and exits. The coaches greet everyone with a smile and warm welcome. The structure and flow of the class is very organized. My son felt comfortable with the coaches after the first class and is able to make a good connection with them. I'm looking forward to seeing his class use different equipment and learning new skills in the upcoming classes.

I only have good things to say about this gym, the owners, and coaches. It’s very organized and clean. I’m so impressed with all the measures they are taking to keep the facility clean and kids safe (especially during COVID). Most importantly my daughter loves it and her coaches!

My young kiddos have had a wonderful experience at Birchmount Gymnastics. The space is great, the activities are varied and the coaches are really encouraging. My daughter has been training at Birchmount Gymnastics for years, starting out in the recreational program. Under the watchful eye of her many coaches - all of whom have been highly encouraging, experienced, engaged and supportive - she advanced into the competitive program. She now trains year round. We can’t say enough about the coaches here, who strive to provide not only a safe AND fun environment, but more importantly do not put the sport ahead of the athlete. I’ve watched young and older coaches give so much to their athletes. The family and friends I’ve watched my shy girl cultivate have helped her grow her confidence immensely. Our children have been enjoying learning gymnastics at Birchmount for many years. The facility is great and the coaches are knowledgeable and friendly. Our son is in the recreational class and our daughter is in the competitive stream. Both have had great experiences and been able to learn and master new skills while having fun.

Both my daughters have loved every second. My youngest is apart of their pre mini competitive team and it is like their second home! She begs to go back! My daughter started in the recreational program at 5 years old. Nine years later.....my 14 year still loves it.This facility provides an excellent space and a safe environment while having fun. My daughter enjoys going to Birchmount because it is not just a place for physical training but a place of belonging to an awesome group of friends and staff who treats her like family. Love this gym. My daughters both started as youngsters and had amazing experiences. My younger one was invited into the competitive stream and hasn’t looked back! Coach Aaron is amazing. Connects with the athletes effortlessly. His passion, energy and positive approach have my daughter looking forward to going to each training session!

I recently felt compelled to leave a review because of how well this facility has handled the pandemic. Birchmount gymnastics has always been a great facility, has amazing coaches, are well organized and have a balance of great values, structure and fun. However, After the recent pandemic Birchmount gymnastics holds a special place in my heart as they have been so professional, understanding, and have made the athletes safety a priority. I truly appreciate this facility and highly recommend it!

My daughter loves it here and has been with the club for 5 years. They have a great gym with lots of professional equipment. The coaches are very knowledgeable and great with the kids. They push everyone to do their best and really guide the kids in an appropriate way to make changes to what they are trying to learn so that the kids can have the confidence to learn and not get discouraged. It's a very professional gym, with professional staff. I couldnt be more pleased with this place. My daughter can't wait for her classes each week and I'm sure she will be attending here for years to come. Anyone with a child that has an interest in gymnastics should sign up. Currenly enjoying their parent and tot program with my little one. She is not in daycare and with the recent COVID restrictions she has not experienced being around other people and kids her age. I enrolled her in the program so she can gain confidence, and experience a social environment similar to school. There is also the benefit of excercise and learning new skills. And that is exactly what we are getting out of it. We are hitting our goals. The progress I am seeing week by week is astounding. From not paying any attention during warm ups during the first two sessions and being weary of strangers to understanding that there is a "teacher" and is now sitting still and following some of the instructions during warm up. There is structure to the program but it also allows for lots of free play. The coaches are wonderful and are really great with little ones. The facility is big and clean and the open concept allows parents to watch their kids proudly.
