    Great location, nice selection of items. Always nice staff, hard to find in a warehouse sized place tho.. The garden area is well stocked with planets, fertilizer & pots. Easy return process, once you have the receipt. Paint dept is really great, had some paint not turn out the right colour, they fixed it by replacing the whole can. It needed to be lighter, much appreciated! Needed some small pieces of wood, but didn't want to buy a full board. They have a bin of off cuts & it cost me a $1 to get it cut & the wood was free, fabulous! The technical staff who have plumbing or electrical backgrounds are amazing, got advise on creating wireless outdoor lights. Love this location... Always has parking & late hours. For Christmas they have live tree's & decorations.

    Very poor customer service. I asked one of the employees where I could find an item, she sent me to an isle but I could not find it. I then asked another employee, he asked me to go back where I came from. I told him then that his colleague sent me here. He then said, go look over there. Over there I saw 3 employees chatting. I kind of interrupted them and asked if they know where I could find the items, they said it is not their department! While I was walking back and forth, an employee was helping another client but he noticed me looking like I needed help. He suggested to go look a little further. As the 3 employees ignored my request for help, I got really frustrated and decided to leave and that is when Amirali rushed to help me. He started looking and looking until he found what I was looking for. He did this with kindness and then I asked him if I can take his picture to write a review. I believe Amirali should train the rest of the crew teaching them how to be kind and help clients. Thank you Amirali. I rated this Home Depot as 3 stars but I would rate Amirali 5 stars and the rest zero star.

    One of the best Home Depot stores in the GTA! My husband is a DIY guy, so we go to Home Depot as often as visiting supermarkets. This store amazed me with the amount of inventory they carry and it has the best garden centre and the biggest green house for the winter time. They have a vast variety of indoor plants in the green house to choose from and every time I visited, they have multiple clearance racks with the marked down plants at the store entrance. This is the place to go if u want a new indoor plant during the winter!

    This is a one stop for everything a home needs. Hardware, lights and fixtures, Air conditioner, kitchen appliances all in one shop. The customer service is also very good. The employees help us when we need assistance finding a product.

    BIG store and lots to see. They recently reorganized the merchandise, so it was to find stuff. There are always new products to discover. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The cash checkouts can get extremely busy on weekends. Luckily, the cashiers are usually fast.

    Difficult finding staff to help if you have a question. Ridiculous of ongoing incidents of seeing staff playing on their phones, texting or gathering in small groups to socialize at Home Depot. Bright light only is the cashier or self check staff are helpful to customers. The staff scattered about the store need to make themselves more attainable and approachable to customers. Stop ignoring the customer or pretending you do not see them in need of assistance. I miss the days when staff checked to see if you need any assistance.

    John M. You are fantastic! Thanks for jumping in to help after watching my wife and I struggle to fit 6 bats of safe n sound insulation in our Honda Pilot. You were incredible and didn’t let us give up after we almost called it quits. We truly appreciated your efforts . This Home Depot is lucky to have a hard working and loyal employee!

    It frustrates me to say it but I think that this might be the worst Home Depot that I ever visit. Consistently their inventory levels displayed on the website do not match what they have in store. Customer service is nonexistent you might finally find somebody in the store and they don’t know how to help you, won’t take an extra step to check the stock or ask another staff member for help. If they call for help, it might not even arrive for example, this morning I waited over 20 minutes for a paged staff, I talked to the person that paged the other staff member they didn’t really care. The store pays zero attention to customer service. It’s really just a hit or miss, if you’re lucky and you go to the store and they happen to have on the shelf the item that you’re looking for you might have a good experience but generally I have decided not to go to this store in favour of a more reliable Home Depot in the city.

    Would never visit or buy anything from home depot ever again. I order two appliances. Wanted to switch one of them before delivery. They were not able to process the refund correctly many times. It took me 8 visits and many phone calls. Waiting time for each visit was about 30 to 90 minutes. Staff at this location were friendly but the system of dealing with transactions and the process is horrible. My refund was less $100 dollars and they could not tell the reason why. Happened twice. So I asked to refund both appliances and that took about 4 visits alone to happen. What a waste of time and energy. after all was done, i get a wake up call from the tech, that he is on his way to install my fridge!!!!! WHAT!!! I cancelled the order 2 weeks ago and your calling me to install it? What a joke !!!! the dishwasher was going to be delivered in 2 month!!!!! Happy to go to any other home hardware store or even best buy that dealing with Home Depot anymore. Continue like this and the competition will shred you apart.

    None of the staffs in this location know about anything, I asked one of the staffs if this cleaning product that I have in my hand can clean wipe a specific surface area, that staff said its over there in the corner, I asked again same question and second time he said there's more on the shelf. He's not even listening to my question, definitely not a language barrier, he can speak English, but third time I had to ask the same question yet again, then he just said I don't know. If anyone had to ask, it's the guy near the kitchen design area that sits on computer. The professionalism is lacking severely, 4 out of 5 guys there don't know this product, didn't even bother looking at the product's info at all and just ask me to ask someone else. This is frustrating service, I don't see a point of hiring staff that don't know what they are doing.

    If I can give some of the employees here negative stars for their service, I would. I was trying to find a product and one employee just said that he didn't know and walked away. Did not call anyone else to help me. Another employee was helping someone else so I waited until she was finished. We fully made eye contact and it was clear I needed help and was waiting in line for her help. When she was done helping the other customer, she walked away fully knowing I was waiting for her. Very poor customer service with these two employees.

    I walked in today looking for a thick plastic material that can be used as a cover for my table top. Even though I have been to similar stores before, none of them were able to help. But the associate who attended us in this store pointed out what's best and she also gave us good advise on how to install it. Finally, we got the apt material from the door section. We will definitely come back to this store.

    I had a few good experiences at this store recently. A staff at the self checkout section was very kind and efficient - helped me without asking. Also a staff clearing shopping carts saw me carrying a heavy purchase helped me loading it into my car without asking again. Not sure if it is due to their employee education or I was just lucky to have great staff - much appreciated!

    Yeh pickup experience was nice. However the website needs to be updated to reflect the correct available pickup date. For me the I ordered April 11around 9 am and selected the pickup date for April 11. But after multiple calls and chats I was told it can be delayed by 2 days or more.

    Clean store. Beautiful tropical and house plant section. However not one employee acknowledged me. At self check out I received some interaction. Robotic and necessary. A hello would have changed my rating. Simple.

    In a brief visit, I had three employees offer assistance in a friendly, no pressure manner. I found what I needed quickly and made it through the self checkout with ease. The store had a better selection of the hardware that I needed than i have found at my local store.

    I had a really smooth experience ordering something online from this location, it came the next morning ( right now), delivery drivers were nice, there was no headaches. Been having to purchase many things for the business lately and having many back to back order+deliveries to compare to. Assuming the product is not defective or tarnished once opening/ assembly process is complete in the near future I'm giving it 5 stars, for any reasons if there is a problem with the product or future complications I will edit the review, if you're left reading this current /original version of the review, then it remains as 5 stars.

    Today my mom and me went to this location to purchase a Christmas tree. After being redirected to various employees multiple times, Kelly helped us. And she couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. When shopping here make sure to ask for Kelly because she truly made our shopping experience a wonderful time.

    The customer service experience I got was not too great. I needed some paint and there was a gentleman wearing a hat with tattoos on his neck. He didn’t say hi or anything, just nodded no smile. I asked him what the difference was between a white base and medium base and he bluntly said “white base is for light colours, medium base is for dark colours.” I showed him what colour I wanted and asked if this would go for a white base. He said “well what do you want?” I was a bit shocked by that response and even though I purchased what I needed, I probably have to think twice when going to this location. Having worked in retail for 7 years, I wouldn’t even dare to say or act that way to my customers. I understand it’s Boxing Day and he probably doesn’t want to be there, but have the decency and try to help in a friendly manner. Hope the other associates are not like that. I have better customer service at Rona/Lowe’s; they go above and beyond to make sure I get what I need.

    This store is either very incompetent or run by crooks - AVOID!! 1) Didn't deliver my 'same-day' order & never let me know they weren't coming 2) Refunded ~20% less than what I had paid even though they never delivered anything (it's HUGE pain to get them to fix their own mistake)

    This was an awesome experience with the people at paint department. I have rarely been to a paint department at hardware stores and come out fully satisfied. The 2 young girls that attended the paint department at this location in early August (Aug4- afternoon) have both the product knowledge necessary as well as the customer service skills needed to handle paint illiterate people like myself. Kudos to both! Very satisfied and will definitely make sure to go back here for paint advice!

    All Canadians welcome the reopening of home depot, well over due, this location is @ 428 Ellesmere Rd Scarborough , beautiful location for all your home supplies and building supplies, you can find everything @ this location. everything is at a affordable cost, easy parking with quick access in and out of store, see them today and full filled all your needs.

    Exceptional service from Zelda!! I am a first time painter and had no idea what to do but Zelda showed me all my options and told me step by step what to do and it turned out great. Even though she was very busy she was patient and helped clarify many questions I had regarding painting. She is really informed and goes the extra mile to help you. I came back and they were sold out of the product i wanted and the other worker didn’t even care to help but Zelda wouldn’t give up until she had found a solution in their computer. Great customer service from beginning to end. She really goes above and beyond, I would give her 6 stars if I could.

    Lots of holes in the tools section but I suspect it was not entirely due to Covid yet due to the time of year being just before Christmas and the holidays. What handy-person does not like a good plumbing wrench under the tree? Stock levels contributed to the -1 star, maybe next trip I’ll revisit my experience but I’ve always had decent luck here.

    Not crowded. Knowledgeable and helpful service, especially in the appliance section. Received the delivery on the date given. Deliver and installed. No complaints yet. Will shop there again. Note: Home Depot company should provide well fitted masks for their employees. Not the blue surgical type of masks.

    Nice home depot outlet in North York right next to 401. It's also near to Costco at Warden. The store itself was nicely organized and stocked up. We were able to find most of the things we were looking for. Also they had lot of items on sale specially plants. Most of them were 50% or 75% off. We bought lots of plants while visiting this store. Ample parking space available as most of them were empty and we were able to cget a spot just near the entrance. The checkout lanes were well maintained as well as the self checkout lanes. There were Home Depot employees who were readily available to help with the checkout for the discounted items. Overall would definitely recommend.

    Found more options of the product category I went in for. Geri (staff) was super helpful and accommodating. Prices are the most affordable. No food options, though: that cut my shopping short. I could've shopped more items if I hadn't been so hungry!

    Came to buy a smart lock. I had been in several other stores and no employee was able or willing to help (Canadian tire, lowes, Rona…). Came to Home Depot and an Asian young man was there ready to help. He didn’t have all the answers, but he went to the computer to look for them and assist us. Today is June 1 2023 and we came at 3 pm. I hope his manager praises him for the excellent job he is doing there. He is a treasure!

    Amazing staff and everything you need in one place. I came here for everything I needed during my move and renos - materials, appliances, decor and advice - and it was always a great experience. (If renovating though, you can find more affordable contractors independently.)

    Well stocked store. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted a few items for a DIY dry wall repair project and the staff guided me well. Has a Garden center too which is reasonably priced and variety.

    I came there around early June 2023 and was obviously very pregnant. I brought my three year old with me. The guy in the plumbing department was very busy. But a nice lady, Marita helped me out and was very attentive. It was not her department but was knowledgeable and helped me pick out a toilet. She also helped arrange the delivery and installation. Overall I was very happy with the service.

    Sorry to write this review as I am a homedepot customer. However, people should know the truth. VERY FRUSTRATING, DISAPPOINTING, AND POOR QUALITY SERVICE !! Cambridge heating and cooling worked for Homedepot, Ellesmere Road for installing my new furnace. They sent Azam Safdary to do the job. When he arrived my house for installation, he did not know that I had an order to install a duct to my basement washroom. That means before coming to my house, he did not check my work order. He came to my house unprepared. He did not bring extended cord to make holes in the wall to bring the pipes out. He asked from me and I had supplied that. Then he asked for coaking from me to fill out the pipe holes. It was fun with me. How a technician comes to install a furnace without extended cord and coaking? Is it technician's responsibility to bring enough extended cord to install furnace or it's customer's responsibility to have it. While he was making holes in the wall to make pipes out, he was making holes at the outside ground level. I requested him to make the holes at least one feet above because in Canada we experience snowing/ice more than 7months during winter. There was huge space to make holes up. Making holes at the outside ground level will make it potential to water leaking during winter. He did not respect my request. He made the holes just at the outside ground level (pictures attached). After he left my house, I spoke with him over phone asking why did he make the holes at the ground level where there will snowing about 7months during winter. He told me , if he has to fix it now, I have to pay extra from my pocket. That means, he made the holes intentionally to make extra money and there was enough space to make holes up. But he put my house in danger for winter. These holes are not for one or two years. It's for life long. After finishing the job, they are about to leave my house. Then I checked the holes on the wall. I could see the sky and sunlight through one holes; then I requested them to fill that out; then they did. My question, was it customer's responsibility to check whether holes are filled properly or not? Then I complained to Cambridge heating and cooling with pictures. All the time, the manager Bill favoured the technician Azam. Bill was not supportive to me although his technician came unprepared and provided worse service. I provided him pictures and audio of conversation where the technician Azam asked for extra money to fix the issue. But he did not help me positively. Bill sent my sales person Tousif (who sent the technician Azam to my house for the job) to inspect the issue. As Tousif sent Azam to do the job and he did the job in unprofessional manner, Tousif also supported Azam which is obvious because Tousif and Azam are the same. It was my mistake to allow Tousif who is my sales person to do the inspection. I allowed him in good faith. They can't play with customers hard earning money about $5000. Cambridge can't sent an unprofessional and inefficient technician who does not check work order , who does not bring enough extended cord, who does not bring coaking to fill out the holes before coming to customer's house. They made Homedepot a victim providing a very very poor and worse service. And I also made my house vulnerable for water leaking year after year spending about $5000. I also complained to Homedepot customer service and spoke with Judy in early June, 2022. I was told that my case was sent to her supervisor. Since then, I did not hear from her. Be careful about the Cambridge heating and cooling also furnace installation by Homedepot in Scarborough as technician is very low quality.

    Sometime it takes only a small move to make someone’s day. Drove all the way from downtown to the Home Depot at Ellesmere and Warden to pick up some switches. The rack was empty but thanks to Marcia who took the time went to the back and brought us the switches that were just received. She is a pro and I have no words to thank her!

    This is my home Home Depot. It has a huge range of product, pretty much everything you need, lot's of parking space and a good mixture of veteran knowledgeable staff, and young part timers, especially in the Lawn Mower. Snow Blower area. Avoid the obvious peak weekend hours especially during spring planting season, I also like the self checkout area where there is always a staffer to help if you get stuck.

    Came to this THD location for some vinyl duct replacement. After circling the plumbing area 3 or 4 times, I decided to seek help at customer service. There Justin came to help...he first looked at the product on THD online and pointed me to aisle 31 bay 23. I went and came back empty handed. I must have been really blind cuz I didn't see it. Justin then escorted me back to the aisle and looked around a bit....and voila! Justin was very patient, friendly and understanding with me as I am very close at being irritated. Customer Service is top notch. I recommend that if anyone comes to this location (ellesmere and warden) satisfaction guaranteed you will leave happy and with a purchased product of your choice. BIG THANKS TO JUSTIN FOR MAKING MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE VERY PLEASANT.

    AJ helped me with selecting tiles for all my bathrooms and hallway. He was excellent to work with and spent a lot of time with us. Its difficult to find good people like him. Would highly recommend asking for him the next time you're looking for good flooring designs.

    I have generally had a Great experience at this location in particular. I must point out that this last Sunday, on New year's Eve, "Mahdi" was extremely helpful with my electrical and lighting needs. Even pointed me to a beautiful chandelier that was on clearance for an excellent price. He walked back and forth through the store to help me, while multitasking and tending to other, not so grateful and inpatient customers, with nothing but a Smile on his face. These are the kind of employees that the home Depot commercial portrays! Excellent work "Mahdi" I hope you are recognized for your efforts! Thank you again! All the best to you, family, friends and co-employees in 2024! 👍👌👍
