I was in Winners tonight, just to look around and get some gifts. Little did I know I would leave feeling upset & embarrassed. I was cashed out by a friendly young man, I presented my Aboriginal Status Card before my purchase. The man did not know how to cash out a status card and called management. I was more than happy to wait as he learned, I mean, someone has to teach him. A lady by the name of Imrana was yelling to him from 20 feet away. So he lifted up the card to show her. She then proceeded to yell in front of about 30 customers in a long line waiting “oh that’s the native thing!”… I didn’t care so much but was a bit embarrassed. She held up my card to the man, and said “make sure you check the expiry date and check the picture to make sure it’s them!”…. As I was leaving, she proceeded to bang loudly on the window for me to come back in. I did and she told me I did not complete the paper. I said I did, she said she needed another number. So I told her that I didn’t know I had to fill out that number, as I never have had to before. She said rudely “ya you have too, if you don’t then we will be fined and we have to pay.” Direction and instructions are easy to understand if you’re nice. I thought her attitude and the way she approached me was extremely unprofessional. This is the second time I have seen two unprofessional managers at this location. I think it’s time for Winners to step up and really look at who’s doing the hiring of their managers. I also highly recommend that anyone who works there be educated to cash out an Aboriginal Status Card, and also not leave customers feeling discriminated. Every sales associate has always been so lovely and patient, I cannot imagine how their work day must go working under such judgemental, rude and unprofessional “managers”.

I Had the most incredible experience in this store! As I entered the store I was greeted by a very upbeat and friendly gentleman employee named Wayne. He was very welcoming, professional and witty! This welcome changed the whole mood of my day! Thank you!! In addition, I found the store to be clean, organized and well stocked. With ease, i found exactly what I was looking for. The store associate at the checkout was very pleasant, friendly and professional and completed my terrific experience. Congratulations to this winners location, and thank you!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. INCOMPETENT CASHIER DOUBLE CHARGED ME. Initially, she said the transaction declined, so I paid again with another card. Then, while still in the store, I called my bank to see what happened - but the bank told me the 1st payment went through. I showed my charge to the same cashier less than 2 minutes later, who had the nerve to argue back and forth instead of taking responsibility for her mistake. This cashier was argumentative and extremely rude - Almost as if she was trying to run a scam that failed. Instead of fixing the error, she kept denying what happened. Her colleague had to step in to assist. The original cashier should have taken ownership herself. Since she made the error, it was her responsibility to solve - which wasn’t done. Very disrespectful. Will NEVER shop at this location again. If I was a manager here, I would definitely look into this employee’s transactions to verify accuracy. In all honesty, this person should NOT have a job here if that’s how she treats customers. I highly doubt she can even count or read based off what I had been through today. Also no appology was given to me. Waste of time. Shocked at the lack of courtesy and truly disappointed. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT.

Huge and super busy on Dec 22 but manageable. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Bought some kids toys. Staff were pleasant and all the cashiers were open.

As a person with a disability I try to do one large shopping a few times a year and Winners is one of the stores on my list. My last experience with winner I found was poorly handled and also careless. I went to change room area with 26 pieces, I'm only allowed 10 pieces in at a time (store policy). After trying everything one for almost 2 hours, I decided to take 23 out of the 26 pieces, the ladies at the fitting room don't know where the pieces are that I handed them to keep for me. While both ladies acted like they don't know anything and blaming the other person, the manager was no more helpful and all he could do was offer me an apology. I was very disappointed that they couldn't located my pieces that I told them I was taking and there was no effort made to find them. Not impressed, wasted my time and I left with no dress for my event the next day.

They have a pretty wide selection of items at this location! The only downside is that shoppers tend to bring their screaming kids to the store to run around or throw fits in the already crowded aisles. The beauty section also tends to be messier than other locations with lots of open products, sticky floors, and bad smells. If you’re looking for a nice and quiet shopping experience, this might not be the place for you.

This is the quality of products in the store!!! Plus rude staff. This Winners store is the worst winners I've been to. Although I love winners but I get better service in other branches.

Good size store with every department stocked very well especially the beauty and handbags. Always have many large tables during thr holidays.

Nice and pleasant staff, there is a comment about the fitting booths, the floor is very dirty because clients do not follow basic hygiene rules, please at least provide paper or cardboard for the floor.

This location was selling a $5 pan from Dollarama for $29.99. They literally took the Dollarama pan and covered the price with their own sticker. I wonder what other items have been marked up ridiculously. Shame on this location. They think we're fools. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

One of my favourite stores to shop for clothing . They have good prices....For home stuff, absolutely love Home Sense.

Horrible customer service and cheap used materials. Workers are rude. Already complain to Consumer Protection Ontario. As a legal professional I am writing this reviews to bring it their management please hire good employees so that treat you well. Customers are not buying the products for free. They are spending their hard and soul money and in return they could expect to get some respect. What a Shame !!

Good selection of clothes, boys shoes section is usually lacking. Need more cashiers. Long lineups and not enough cashiers. I asked for them to please call for help, they ignored.

Customer service is great, both staff and cashier. We bought more things than we suppose to because of the deals and the products! The place is tidy and often they look after you. ONLY They need better air conditioning!!

My fav store. I bought most of me and my kids best clothes here. It is my go-to store for children’s birthday gifts when they get invited to parties. On the weekends, even with staff on all tills, there’s often long checkout lines, so be sure to plan ahead. If this isn’t your best store yet- make it.

I was in 29th in the checkout queue - we had to keep asking for more cashiers so we could pay and leave. Manager assured more cashiers were coming but none came. It seems store is cutting down on costs while it keeps rates where they were. We spoke to manager, he said it was not a long queue if it was 35 people … redefining what a long queue is … rofl

It has every type of apparel for every budget. High end and low. A great place for everyone. I got so many dress pants for work!

Small store.. hardly find things that I like even though this time I was lucky and I found a pretty summer dress. Always go downtown and get myself into trouble..lol

Great spot to get brand name items at cheaper prices. Best items are the home items like candles, bralettes and cosmetics. A short trip here can lead to hours of browsing if you’re not careful! Friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

Everytime I come here, I always leave with good finds that I wasn't expecting! You have to come here during the AM hours, that's when they're stocking up their shelves with new inventory and they're aren't a lot of shoppers in store Prices are affordable and reasonable, much cheaper than going to the mall and paying full retail market price. Love coming here!!!!

Went in looking for luggage, was surprised how good the selection of name brand products were at good prices! Would definitely recommend checking out Winners if you're looking for luggage, not in sets though.

I really like my local Winners located at Warden and Eglinton. I find there usually is ample and assorted merchandise on the floor with lots of seasonal items. The staff are welcoming and friendly and make for a pleasant experience. I also want to mention the store manager, "Hugo" and his friendly disposition. He is personable and interacts with people in a warm and professional manner. I've seen some posts through the Winners/Homesense/Marshall's FB group, that returning clothes or other items are challenging and customers are questioned about their returns. I have never had this experience and if I have been asked why I'm returning, it's likely to understand if the product is still sellable. Also, this Winners is organized and clean. I would definitely recommend going to this Winners for sure! You won't regret it!

It's one of the biggest Winners stores I have found here in the GTA, with a lot of variety and good deals. The variety of items for adults is great, but it's a bit disappointing for kids, which is alright as there are plenty of other great stores in the vicinity.

Winners is a large department store with brand name products at very decent prices. It's part of parent TJX Companies holding that also includes Marshalls & HomeSense so you might notice some similarities in how all these stores is layed out. Winners stores have brand name clothing, footwear, bedding, furniture, fine jewellery, beauty products, and housewares. The consumer target market is drop-in customers as you can't shop on-line (...which is currently the case). On any given week they can stock a product you may never see stocked again. Other Winners stores may not have the same product on hand. If you like it, then I suggest you buy as you can always return it if you change your mind. Staff are helpful and checkouts are fairly quick.

Store well kept, clean well organized, everyone very fast , pleasant , and professional, employees are always calm and patient, no matter how long the line is don't let it scare you cashier's are very efficient. Management is always on top of things they even offer to take you purchase to your vehicle.

Absolutely rude customer service!! I had an awful experience today at this store where I tried to return some items that I did not like the quality of. The lady assisting me not only displayed rudeness but also exhibited clear signs of racism. Despite presenting the original receipts, she accused me of intending to use and return each item, pushing the clothes towards me and suggesting I go to a different Winners branch for the return. What made the encounter even more unpleasant were her disinterested expressions and judgmental looks throughout the process. This incident marked the worst customer service I've ever encountered at Winners, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and disturbed by the discriminatory behavior. It was the worst service I've ever had and it left me upset and bothered by how I was treated. It's disheartening to have such a negative experience, especially as someone who has been a frequent shopper at the store. Very very bad!!! I wish there was an option to give 0 stars.

A older Lady whit light pink hair was so rude wanted to go Christmas shopping whit my kids and right when I came in she was looking at me and my kids up and down whit a dirty look i didn’t think much of it but the she calld the security to follow my kids and she started to yell at my kids the manager of winners shouldn’t higher rude employees like that. She was so rude she made me and my kids feel so uncomfortable very rude and mean lady my kids wer so upset that they couldn’t shop comfortable because they wer being watch by the lady and a security and they got yelled at

Today I went to the store to return some items that were of the worst quality. The nail polish that I bought recently from winners was the worst I have ever bought, the nails polish was so bad that it was just going off in not more than a day. I wanted to return it back because I absolutely hate the quality of it and while I was already upset with the quality of the items I bought, I encountered a cashier, an elderly lady with grey hair and wore spectacles, was standing at counter no. 4 today, who was exceptionally rude to me. Throughout our interaction, she continuously passed judgmental looks, displaying clear signs of racism and discrimination. In an offensive manner, she pushed the clothes towards me and suggested trying other stores, claiming that nobody would accept my returns. Such behaviour is incredibly discourteous and inappropriate when dealing with customers.
